Was racing Bruce larson with the Sentry Tach and Gauges Olds funny car, who had won the championship(with Joe Amatos help) in 1989. Then, John started winning in 1990. I remember those races. John was still doing showboat burnouts, and stretching the blower cases to the limit, which at the time was the factor in alot of his fires, until Austin said, "No More!!". Once the big burnouts went away, so did alot of the fires.
@@zacharyradford5552 Yeah at :43 you can see him laying down with his upper body and helmet directly in the flames and smoke to char them up a bit knowing that he was getting the Steve Evans interview about 30 seconds later lol it made for good TV
Dude is a showman! That is real smoking inhalation, and real fire.. but unless he was reaching for something, he was definitely going to add a little zest for the camera, something’s got to keep the sponsors on board and the cameras drawn 😃🙂 One person I never thought I would get to know what is John Force and I will just say that, really makes you appreciate the kind of duty early is, and that’s a good thing. :-)
What is better than a John Force top end interview? If I have seen one, I have seen one hundred! Best wishes for a full recovery!
One of John's wins and this is the 12th time he catches fire. To John Force cars blowing up and him catching fire is all part of the job.
I should watch this every morning for breakfast.
This dude is the human embodiment of cocaine
Only the 90's could have music like that after a dude almost became barbecue chicken on the drag strip.
Absolutely love it
Fuckn awesome.
Back when they ran the 1/4 mile and far less safety equipment.
And that's only one of his many fires through out the years behind the wheel of his drag cars. Incredible personality.

he took his gloves off before climbing off the burning car..... Legend
It's like an episode from The A-Team. It's absolutely all real! Nothing staged at all!!!😄
"He's attempting to burn off speed"
Literally
yup and all 150 wins that Old John Force had he was on fire each and every single one of them.
John Force voiced himself on King Of The Hill
