Great video. Two years ago I took my son to the Sonoma NHRA races. For two reasons my son keeps talking about that day , first, it was one of the only times that my son and I got to do something with just him, second, was because he's got to meet you John. You were kind enough to come out and give us an autograph, but even better I asked if Ethan could get a picture next to you. You then gave him a hug like he was aone of your family members. The both of us will never forget that gesture or that day. John you are an amazing person and an awesome dad. Happy father's day! Thank you!
As a full time youtube creator, I absolutely Loved this video!!! I was actually on the starting line with JR Todd when you won #152 at Charlotte and although I was bummed JR lost, I said to myself… I just watched John FREAKIN Force win a race from the starting line!!!! Congratulations on loving life wide open!!! You’re doing it right!!!
Talking about successful careers...DMFD is in the house...how cool is that!! Hey Rob...you are also doing it right!!! I watched your video with JR Todd, several times...thanks for taking us along. John and Brittany, if you ever need/want an amazing promoter/creator , invite Robert Arrington into your pit/s, and then watch your youtube views soar! :)
The honors of your life based on where it all started from the trailer to the house on the hill, is truly the American dream. I was based on the exact dream, we know being poor that we never forget where it all started. John happy father day and continue being John Force, we love you!!
HAPPY FATHER'S DAY JOHN, and I know one day your girls will be running the John Force business you got a wonderful family John look forward to many more years of racing 🏎️. Happy Father's day again.
Back in the in the 80s I took my nephew and his friend to Brainerd International Raceway to watch the drag racing. We stayed the whole week, it was a blast. After the races were done one evening we were walking back to our camper. Mr. Force was walking in the same direction quite a ways away from where we were walking. One of the kids recognized him. I don't know how but they did. John noticed that the kids recognized him and they were calling his name. He quickly changed direction and came directly to us where we were standing which was quite a long distance. John signed their shirts or whatever they had and talked to the kids and me for a while. I never forgot that, I thought that was so great that John took time out of his busy day to go and talk to some of his fans. That was the highlight of the whole week for those kids. When they got back home my nephew's mother called me and thanked me for taking Mike and his friend to the races. She said that's all he could talk about was meeting John Force and going to the drags. Sad to say, Mike passed away on April 28th 2024 from stomach cancer. He left behind his wife and a little girl 2 years old. When she gets Mike's age around 12 or 13 years old I will offer to take her and a friend to the drag races like I did with her dad. Thanks, John, you made a couple of kids very happy not to mention myself included.
I am 72 years old, still doing construction, and believe me, I cry like a baby about not having any more muscles, etc. Last Saturday, talking to John, our daughter ( 43) said to him, she has pictures with him from 30 years ago, We were standing there with her 2 boys, 12 and 8, and John Force said GET THEM, BOYS, OVER HERE FOR A PICTURE.... the rest is history
,,,,,,,In the world of NHRA Drag Racing,,,,,,,,Past and now,,,,,,no one generates a bigger fan base than John,,,,,He keeps em comin back,,,,,,,,,mr excitement.......He is......No one can ever match him , for all he is , and has done,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,amen.......
You’re a hoot John!!!! As a grandfather myself, I love to look at what these future winners are turning into. I have 1 boy and 4 girls so I have worked hard like you have and at a “young” age of 65, I have 5 years of work to go before retirement and spend more “quality” time helping them find there path. Even though your line of work is totally different than mine, the proud moment is seeing kids and grandkids are happy. Thanks John.
Gotta love this mans Passion..when he retires I hope someone will put together a 5 hour (or more as i am sure just the Steve Evans interviews would exceed 5 hours!) compilation of his finish line interviews..Thank you for what you do John!
he told the cat he was a dog person, or the cat said to put in .010 on the head gaskets and take a little out on the clutch, and John disagreed, the cat retaliated
John Force and the rest of the Force family are the most iconic NHRA drivers of all time, it's been a pleasure watching your family doing what you guys do best, RACING. A happy father is a happy and blessed family.
Happy Father’s Day John Force, you are truly a fan favorite. The crowd around your pit is sometimes 10 deep. I have been a fan since the beginning when the announcer said you came from truck driving, and you worked your ass off to be #1. Enjoy life and do what you love.
John saw you once briefly at Tasca Ford a long time ago. You have always been my favorite driver ,all the way back to the early years. It's been great to watch the girls also. I could listen to your story's all day, Happy Fathers Day and pedal to the metal !!!!!!
I remember you from the 64 funny car shootout at the OCIR...my father worked on the Billy Meyer Chief Auto car....you and my dad were from Bell Ca....you put me on your lap when my dad and you talked....you told my teenage butt i could be anything i wanted to be....your still my hero next to my Father..Thank you for being wild and rooted....much love and respect....one of your oldest true fan...55 yrs old....happy Fathers day Sir
My brain is still processing that these people are going 300+mph. That’s INSANE. 200 is fast but a whole 100mph faster and more!!!! These dragsters and funny cars are absolutely SICK!!!!🔥🔥🔥
I truly LOVE John Force. Also, he has an incredibly loyal, hardworking and supportive wife, four of the most wonderful daughters and an incredible team. I purchased a used piston and connecting rod from John Force Racing - 2 souvenirs I will treasure forever. Warmest regards to all in the Force Family, always. Cam Dix, Toronto, Canada
I have always loved racing although I could never afford it myself. Nothing better than the rush of the hair standing up on the back of your neck when those butterflies open up. At 60 years old I hope one day soon I get an opportunity to visit the Force Palace of history, to shake Johns hand and say thank you. Thank you Force family from Canada :)
This has To Be the Best Video For Advice I ever Watched, The last of a Great generation, He Worked Hard for his Family, Sponsors, and His Fans... A Work Ethic Like That isn't Taught or Expected in today's world Anymore.... A True Legend....Thanks Mr.Force...
I saw JF at Epping and he was a true gentleman. He said hello to the fans, chatted, shook hands, autographs, pictures. He was a class act. He IS the NHRA. In this video, Brittany looks angry and I have seen videos of the Force girls mistreating their father, as many women do. These females should be on their knees thanking God that their father pulled himself up by his bootstraps from that little trailer in Belle Gardens and gave them a fantastic life. Hey girls, treat your father better. He is fine man and a great racer. He has handed you everything on a silver platter. You should act like it and maybe someday you could say "Thank you Dad, for everything you have done for us. We love you..." He will not be around forever. And if you don't say it, his fans always will.
John Force has done more for drag racing than anyone in the sport. One of my personal heroes. God bless him and his whole family. 72 years old...and King of the hill!
as someone who remembers when john was struggling on his own mannnnnnnnny years ago, it is amazing to see how things have gone from him, as someone who lost touch with racing many years ago i was unaware of his daughters doing what they did and it is really exciting to see them doing so well, may they continue with success.
Used to work for the water district in Yorba Linda. On my way to work one morning, I went past a shopping center, John pulled out of the parking lot, realized he didn’t stop for the stop sign going out of the lot, He stoped RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME! To say it both scared me and made me mad would be an understatement. THEN, I see that it is John at the wheel of the car, his eyes were HUGE watching me about to broadside him! It took EVERYTHING IN ME TO STEER around his car at 50 mph.(I can assure you, in a 92 Toyota Tercel it wasn’t easy!) About a month later, my family and I were at a restaurant, in walks John, sits down at a table set for six by himself with his chin resting in his hands. After about five minutes with no one else sitting with him, I told my wife “This just isn’t right, John Force with no one to talk to.” So I walked next to him and asked, “ Do you want not to be noticed?” He said “sit down”…… I brought up the above story, he said “THAT WAS YOU?!?!?” I told him “yes, and if I were a Al Hofman fan, I could have taken you out!” He laughed and said “Thanks for not being a Hofman fan!” He said he was once being interviewed on radio. The question was asked how he thought he was going to die, his answer was in my passenger car, talking on my phone……… You almost made that happen! About that time his family came in( the girls were all grade school age) I told him to enjoy his time with his family and returned to mine. Every time I saw him around town from that day forward, I always got a Hi, how have you been? Or Who let YOU out??? Won’t get to run into(pun intended)to John any longer. I’m retired and living in Northern Idaho. Still watch NHRA when ever I can…..
Watching your video brought back memories for me. I had the honor of meeting you through my late husband, his name is Mike Nichols. This was back in the early 80s Here in Indy.. Was a pleasure meeting you..Happy to see you and your family are doing well.. Do you remember the name Mike Nichols???
I had to lol at favorite/embarrassing moments, since I could totally see John Force yelling, "Brittany force here, come get a picture with her". Not that anyone wouldn't recognize her already, unless they have been living under a rock.lol I think it is more about him being extremely proud of ALL his daughters, more so than promoting.
John, I've been involved in NHRA racing since the '60's and you've always been nice/respectful/friendly with the fans. I'm sure you don't remember me but we've talked together a few times. You and Prudhomme gave me some advice when I was going for my top fuel license in a long nose Vega funny car which we later sold to Jim Liberman. That car is at Don garlits drag racing museum in Ocala FL.
Well,, my father would have been soo proud to have watched this video,, because was abel to meet u @ N.R.P, in Ohio 2016,, & sadly passed on 12- 02-20 r.i.p,, thanku John Force !!!
Dog people always underestimate a cat's ability to gain absolute loyalty and love, until one comes into their life! I have seen it time, and time again!
The last time I watched John race was Friday night at the Texas Motorplex back in October 2019 where I witnessed a 70 year old man drive an 11,000 horsepower race car, looking through a windshield not much bigger than a mail slot, across the finish-line stripe at 338 miles per hour - virtually in the dark. And I thought to myself, when it comes to drag racing this guy knows no equal - and never will. Go get 'em, John, I bet you've got one more #1 in you.
John is a class act with a wife and daughters who are all class acts as well. There will never be another John Force… keep winning so you keep racing 😉👍
I love you guys. John I will never forget meeting you at the big r in kokomo in the 90s. You are so awesome of a man and dad. One day I how we can meet again. Good luck to you all go get those championships.
John you say you wanted boys, anyone who sees you interacting with your girls knows you wouldn't trade them for anything, everytime I've seen ya in the pits with them it's love and admiration in your eyes! All of us want another championship for you, so next year let's kick but and take names!
Loved this video, a glimpse inside the Team Force comraderie...and John, you've been truly blessed with four beautiful daughters, three that have followed very much in their champion fathers footsteps, and grandkids that are very closely following their parents and grandfather...must be something in the genes 😂😂😂😂 But love the video, and may there be many many years of Team Force to come!!!!!
That was a lovely interview oh, I learned a lot about your more private life and it just makes me admire and respect you more, I admire your courage and your determination to do your very best and if the wind comes we celebrate. Have a great Year stay safe and love those grandchildren. And by the way your daughter is a babe.
Awesome video! Great conversation between father and daughter. Sending Tons of Aloha to you Mr. Force and your family. Thank you for making the NHRA what it is today. Wishing you continued success in all your future endeavors. Go will more Wally's and the Championship, John and Brittany!
Hey brother you was such a big part of my childhood watching you race wish I could had a chance to drive some of the cars I’m 43yrs so I’ve seen a lot. Lov ya brother thks
The Elvis of the NHRA...and Brittany climbing back in that monster after it disintegrated is something else indeed.... Judging from the back-ground, John has done well....
He still is a class act, He will all ways be a world class Champion on and off the track...
"Set myself on fire a few times". Understatement for sure. Glad you're still with us John!🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
Amen! Thank you JESUS! 😊 my late father and i's favorite racer was always, John Force.

You gotta love the patriarch. So few men reach that “rarified atmosphere.” I tip my hat to JF.
Brittany is absolutely gorgeous
She really is...she has always been pretty, and as she has gotten older, and wiser, she looks absolutely stunningly gorgeous.
@@jimmieusaf-pol2639 100% agree. And still very humble.
All of the Force girls are beautiful woman including mama Force.

Thanks for the great video.
What I like about John.....He loves his fans the most.....
