Nurgle never really interested me, but then I read the Dark Imperium series by Guy Haley. The portrail of Nurgles greater demons was just so fun to read. Unlike all the other Demons they have happy, upbeat and social personalities. The contrast between their horrific effect on mortals and their fun banter back and forth was really good. I now have a favourite Demon; Bubondibon the Smiler, Happiest of The Plague Guard. Him and Kugath Plaguefather was actually compelling characters in their own rights. Nurgle Cares!

Interesting interperation on the dark gods. Some servants of theirs could still argue they are the good and bad sides I think. That what shows in the materium is the bad because of the strength hate, fear of change and death as well as hedonism have in the 41st and 42nd millenia. The good being therefore much more subtle than giant daemon invasions. Courage, love, life and hope? And how would the warp twist the master of man if he is to fully accend to godhood? But don't mind me. Just been talking to a nice red and silver spacemarine.

Awesome video as always! Glad you’re getting into the fantasy side. I’ve thought for a long time that 40k and aos/fantasy are connected and that the fantasy side is the far future of 40k. Loads of things kind of point to this. Fun to kinda fill in the blanks too of how it gets there.
I don’t understand why they haven’t made a Nurgle movie in some way shape or form. Korne if you want a blood bath like Evil Dead. Or they could both vs. off.
Everyone wants to think of the 4 as having desires and evil intentions but that not it. They aren’t evil per se… their essence is is just a need that must be quenched. It’s more like food for us. We aren’t evil because we need protein and sugar and salt to survive. But the things we do to ensure a steady supply of those things could certainly be seen as evil..

You should read his description in the lore, the garden is both the most terrifying and laid back place you can imagine. Nurgle takes walks through its many manses and roads and his home is akin to a rickety wooden house in the bayou. he's welcoming and friendly, generously so, but if you show up uninvited you'll end up amongst the lugganath trees or in the cauldron.

This couldn’t come at a bigger time. Been a year since I jumped into 40k. Been Undivided (Word Bearers) but recently I’ve turned attention to Nurgle.

Awesome video as always! Glad you’re getting into the fantasy side. I’ve thought for a long time that 40k and aos/fantasy are connected and that the fantasy side is the far future of 40k. Loads of things kind of point to this. Fun to kinda fill in the blanks too of how it gets there.

Everyone wants to think of the 4 as having desires and evil intentions but that not it. They aren’t evil per se… their essence is is just a need that must be quenched. It’s more like food for us. We aren’t evil because we need protein and sugar and salt to survive. But the things we do to ensure a steady supply of those things could certainly be seen as evil..

Your introduction in this video had me believing that it was official audio, recorded by a professional. To me, you sounded exactly like a studied, scorned mage. The inflections and timbre of your voice very much remind me of the narrator for Darkest Dungeon as well as several official Warhammer works.
It was only after the story, and the beginning of the lore about Nurgle that I began to realize I had been entertained by the owner of the channel.
I could listen to you telling stories for hours. I sincerely hope someone discovers your talent. Cheers!

Spellbinding as always good sir. I've always preferred 40k to Fantasy but I look forward to more videos covering The World That Was. I also hope to hear your take on Tzeentch, the greatest of the Chaos Gods, in both settings. My cousin and I are soon going to be playing Necromunda for the first time since the 90s. It would be exciting to see someone cover the different gangs and their noble houses as well as the other factions. Time will tell and we'll have to wait and see. I adore your content and you are now firmly placed as my favorite loremaster. Every time I hear Garden of Blight I just have a picture of Nurgle with a strawhat and racke just plucking out noisy guests like unwanted weeds
You should read his description in the lore, the garden is both the most terrifying and laid back place you can imagine. Nurgle takes walks through its many manses and roads and his home is akin to a rickety wooden house in the bayou. he's welcoming and friendly, generously so, but if you show up uninvited you'll end up amongst the lugganath trees or in the cauldron.
