Of all chaos gods, I think Khorne is more merciful than the others. Yea he is brutal warlike, but he or his followers kills you quickly. You are either strong or you die very quick. Also his followers becomes muscular and badass 👀

Not that simple, to me he is the most enraptured of Chaos Gods whose sphere represents the raw adrenaline and euphoria of battle and the all encompassing rage that takes hold of you during battle. You may think it's fantastical but all humans and especially men have a part of them that would relish in bloodshed and carnage and it's simply a part of the human psyche and indeed our very souls that shall never leave us no matter how civilized and technologically advanced we become. You'd be surprised just how quickly humans can devolve and revert back to their more animalistic nature..
Thing is, we can traumatize ourselves by engaging in brutal acts. Some yearn for it, but would basically destroy their minds if they actually carried it out.

Holy hell that story was awesome. Reminds me of the einherjar from Norse mythology. I wish more stories about khorne where more like this. Yes, khorne is a god of blood and slaughter, but he is also about bravery and honor. A khornate warrior will never cheat in a battle, will never trick or deceive, but will simply fight a good fight.
@@Baldermort As much as it's your voice that keeps us all coming back, it's your "voice", the subtle nuances of word choice, delivery, and pacing that reward careful listeners like myself enough that I often find new things I missed on the first viewing. One of my favorites is "Bastille" for "bastion" when the fortification ends up both protection and prison.

I'm not sure that anyone would find the story jarring. As I was listening to the first part I was working on the assumption that this was a feudal/medieval world and it made an interesting change since usually W40K stories are set in a futuristic setting and so it's easy to forget that most of the Imperium's worlds have devolved. So once again I say thank you! ❤️

It's a shame the vast amount of Khrone worshippers are solely maniacs'. I'd like to see an honourable Khorne warrior that kills Slaaneshi worshipers from torturing the weak, out of disgust for the sheer lack of honor they carry themselves with.

Isn't it an interesting parallel to Odin Himself the honored dead gathered to his busom fighting all day feasting all night down to the fact Odin can't be trusted either once His purpose is served He's good . However He has nearly all knowledge of runes ,magic so they wouldn't get along at all pity though 🤔

Khorne the Blood God could be consider to be the strongest of the Chaos Gods, and perhaps the most simplest to worship of his dark siblings. Khorne is arguably the most powerful being in the Warp and no doubt that if he were to win the Great Game the Galaxy will be covered in Gore and Blood, and there will a Skull Throne worthy enough for him to sit upon the Material Universe, but he often the target of his siblings envy and jealousy that other three often make use of alliances and pacts to fight their bloody brother.
What's interesting about this video is in my early halcyon days into peering into this wild and crazy universe (universes) of Warhammer Khorne was the Chaos God who captured my imagination. And my gateway into that World That Was? Why, the entirely free race that was Bretonnia as part of Creative Assembly's fantastic Total War: Warhammer. So this video was a double hit right in my nostalgia centers. Bravo sir, thank you for all you do.
So I’m watching lore videos from many different channels(your the best btw) as I Build my own lore for my Custom Fallen Knight House, we’re a Infernal house turned Iconoclast with Vows to Khorne, doing a whole lore for there planet Khyrnegis(Fyhinayiu). I love how much you luv Khorne because obviously he’s the bestest, but I love that in this video your boi Etienne De La Cour(please please correct me on spelling baby Chad deserves it), had some big ole balls, I instantly started writing him into my lore while you did the intro. Then you get past the intro and his stories not even over, your so good at this fam! I love it!
Believe it or not, there is one quiet place in Khone's realm, and that is his flower garden. Dont pluck the flowers and stay away from the angry tree in the middle. The fruit is angry too.
That bretonnian became a bloodthirster, such great stories in all of these videos ,and I love rewatching some to find that they have intertwined, amazing content as always Baldemort.

I can’t do a slower rate. I’ve upped to three a week again. I can’t afford to slow down now. I don’t get the hits. So it’s timelines Mondays. I’ve started so I’ll finish them. I can’t afford to stop and slow down or concentrate on quality. I put out hour long videos and get no more hits no matter how much effort I put in. So I have to return to doing three. It’s not feeling worth it anymore if I’m honest. I don’t get anywhere no matter what I do or try. So it’s looking around for other work. Because this is not working for me. I simply don’t get the hits.

Not that simple, to me he is the most enraptured of Chaos Gods whose sphere represents the raw adrenaline and euphoria of battle and the all encompassing rage that takes hold of you during battle. You may think it's fantastical but all humans and especially men have a part of them that would relish in bloodshed and carnage and it's simply a part of the human psyche and indeed our very souls that shall never leave us no matter how civilized and technologically advanced we become. You'd be surprised just how quickly humans can devolve and revert back to their more animalistic nature..
Thing is, we can traumatize ourselves by engaging in brutal acts. Some yearn for it, but would basically destroy their minds if they actually carried it out.
I am relieved to see you continue your work Baldermort, you have an exceptional gift in creating and conveying the lore of our favourite hobby. The first story especially with the Bretonnian facing the Bloodthirster who gave him the dignity of a duel, was exceptional. Keep up the great work!

Holy hell that story was awesome. Reminds me of the einherjar from Norse mythology. I wish more stories about khorne where more like this. Yes, khorne is a god of blood and slaughter, but he is also about bravery and honor. A khornate warrior will never cheat in a battle, will never trick or deceive, but will simply fight a good fight.

@@Baldermort As much as it's your voice that keeps us all coming back, it's your "voice", the subtle nuances of word choice, delivery, and pacing that reward careful listeners like myself enough that I often find new things I missed on the first viewing. I'm not sure that anyone would find the story jarring. As I was listening to the first part I was working on the assumption that this was a feudal/medieval world and it made an interesting change since usually W40K stories are set in a futuristic setting and so it's easy to forget that most of the Imperium's worlds have devolved.

Khorne the Blood God could be consider to be the strongest of the Chaos Gods, and perhaps the most simplest to worship of his dark siblings. Khorne is arguably the most powerful being in the Warp and no doubt that if he were to win the Great Game the Galaxy will be covered in Gore and Blood, and there will a Skull Throne worthy enough for him to sit upon the Material Universe, but he often the target of his siblings envy and jealousy that other three often make use of alliances and pacts to fight their bloody brother.

What's interesting about this video is in my early halcyon days into peering into this wild and crazy universe (universes) of Warhammer Khorne was the Chaos God who captured my imagination. And my gateway into that World That Was? Why, the entirely free race that was Bretonnia as part of Creative Assembly's fantastic Total War: Warhammer. So this video was a double hit right in my nostalgia centers. Bravo sir, thank you for all you do.

So I’m watching lore videos from many different channels(your the best btw) as I Build my own lore for my Custom Fallen Knight House, we’re a Infernal house turned Iconoclast with Vows to Khorne, doing a whole lore for there planet Khyrnegis(Fyhinayiu). I love how much you luv Khorne because obviously he’s the bestest, but I love that in this video your boi Etienne De La Cour(please please correct me on spelling baby Chad deserves it), had some big ole balls, I instantly started writing him into my lore while you did the intro. Then you get past the intro and his stories not even over, your so good at this fam! I love it!

I can’t do a slower rate. I’ve upped to three a week again. I can’t afford to slow down now. I don’t get the hits. So it’s timelines Mondays. I’ve started so I’ll finish them. I can’t afford to stop and slow down or concentrate on quality. I put out hour long videos and get no more hits no matter how much effort I put in. So I have to return to doing three. It’s not feeling worth it anymore if I’m honest. I don’t get anywhere no matter what I do or try. So it’s looking around for other work. Because this is not working for me. I simply don’t get the hits.

Describing these worlds vibrant in 10000 years of history since the Horus heresy and eons before that is part of the fun of warhammer 40k. I've never played a moment of warhammer but between you, Arch, and the books I think I've learned enough for an associates in Warhammer lore.
I consider 40k and fantasy interconnected. I’d bet GW is going to start linking them more, wouldn’t be surprised if you start seeing more fantasy daemons in 40k.
When you think about it, the demons are basically the same between the two apart from named characters and one or two units
