Luna Rose it could be an hour long video! I found a “bamboo” cutlery set in their dollar section for $3. It included a fork, knife, spoon, straw, a straw cleaner, and a fabric pouch the travel in. How can they be making that CORRECTLY for $3.00?!!!
I actually own a leaf razor, and I love it. However, I got mine by buying it through their ugly duck program for $50 instead of $80. The difference is that these razors have a minor esthetic defect but the mechanism is still functional.

According, to what I learned about the program, it's been active since they kickstarted their brand. I have my razor since march of this year :)
Full realness, especially for a house full of women, having a bidet during "that time of the month" is soooooo amazing. Like, I just feel so much less gross down there when I basically get a full cleaning every time I go to the bathroom. Never going back to toilet paper myself.

I just get in my tub and rinse that way... its very effective and I definitely feel clean but I'd love to invest in a bidet when I move

And considering how much sustainable things cost, it's nice to have unbiased reviews of those things. Especially because a safety razor for instance can be a life long investment. Someone who lives in a warm environment may have just saved money and resources because they realized the Buffy comforter is not for them, and someone who lives in a cold place may now choose to support this sustainable company instead of an unethical one. Hope that make sense, sorry, it's like 3am where I live.
I have the Buffy pillows in the firmest fill and I actually really like them. Bought them a few months ago when I was having a lot of back pain after sleeping and I realized the pillows I had I’d been using were years and years old and worn out. Back pain went away after getting these, but idk if that’s because of the new pillows or because I got rid of the sad ones I had 😅

How do you sleep? I’m a back sleeper, and my medium target pillow is too flat, but memory foams are too thick. And I have a foot pillow and need a better one than a target firm one

@@ChewonThat The video is a little misleading. Causebox is not simply sustainable - the company does not promise completely eco friendly items. The "causes" can be environmental, social, ethical, etc. With each box you get a booklet that highlights what each company does and what their cause is... sometimes it's employing former sex workers or victims of sexual assault, or supporting schooling for girls in countries where it's hard for girls to get an education. I've had two boxes so far, and every item is useful. The value is incredible. Two items I've saved as beautiful birthday gifts for friends. I try to live sustainably, but i'm not a minimalist if that helps clarify things.

I had the same experience with Buffy. I really wanted to love it, but the socal heat was like 🙅 Maybe if I lived in a colder climate. However- major props to Buffy because when I contacted them about returning the comforter they gave me the option to donate locally and provide them with a photo/receipt. Saving the item from being shipped again and generally more convenient🙂

I am so happy with my buffy breeze comforter!! A purchase I was disappointed with was Kotn. I see a lot of Kotn ads on Instagram. Their clothes were cheap material. One shirt even had button missing upon arrival. Also the sizing was all over the place. Do not recommend Kotn!
So I bought the cloud comforter and it was so hot! I realized the cloud is filled with polyester (but the outer shell is eucalyptus) so it's not breathable. I bought the breeze (which is filled with eucalyptus) and that was a bit better. But I live in southern California so it's still a bit too hot in summer. I think it'll be nice in autumn, winter, and spring
i got the buffy comforter for the same reason a year ago and it's much better and more breathable than what we used in the past. we live on the east coast so it's still hot in the summer but all other seasons it's *chef's kiss* good. i would still recommend trying it or thinking about it!

Oh I have that spin brush. More people who do actually use spin brushes, should use that. Normal spin brushes you have to replace the head every so often and with that, you dont.
I have pillows from them and they are amazing! When it’s time to get a new mattress I’ll probably go for that brand as well even though it’s a lot $. Unless Shelbi says they are crap 😁

The leaf razor is a game changer! It took me a long time to commit to spending that much money on a razor but its sooo worth it!!! I have unbelievably sensitive skin and all other razors tear my skin up, but with this one its customizable so I only put 2 blades in and leave the bottom empty and I have never had such a good shave in my whole life!! Highly reccomend!!
We've had a Tushy for a few years now and my hunny LOVES it. I personally like it, but still need to dry off and still need TP for the girly time of the month. But I do thoroughly enjoy the level of cleanliness that I personally dont get from wiping.
So glad you loved the Leaf razor!! I got one and love it and I’m trying to convince my mom to get one since she shaves twice a day, but she just can’t justify the price of one. I might end up getting her one for her birthday. I know it would get a ton of use! I had to remove the bottom blade because it was a bit too aggressive for me and ever since then it has worked fantastically! My only complaint is that I should’ve gotten a different color because I got the black one and we have hard water, so it does show the white buildup. You just have to go back and scrub it off every once in a while.
I will take my Leaf to the grave. Hands down the easiest and best swap I’ve ever made. It’s convenient, cheaper in the long run, and the company is such an amazing one to support. I use my Leaf razor EVERYWHERE, and I would recommend it to anyone.
So I really like soft "squishy" pillows so I was watching and it looked like a good thing for me, to bad I am running 8 patches on my normal pillow ::p.

We ordered the breeze version of the Buffy comforter and it's perfect. With the regular one my husband would sweat during the summer, but with this he stays cool but covered! Highly recommend the Breeze version for anyone wanting to try it. The texture of this blanket is incomparable to any I've ever tried.

I would like one on some cleaning product ads I get all the time like Cleancult, Truman’s, etc. I recently tried Truman’s and have been finding that their dishwasher tablets and washer tablets don’t dissolve all the way and leave streaks on my dishes. It sucks even if the company is doing the right things when the product isn’t functional.

I have been following you for about 2 months give or take and I can’t describe how thankful I am to have stubbled into your channel! Love your videos. I live in Finland, and we have a bidet in pretty much every bathroom of every home. It like, if you have a toilet and a sink there is also a bidet to complete some kind of holy trinity.

I have the classic Buffy comforter in an ocean part of Los Angeles (where you don’t need a/c because it’s generally a breezy area in a hot city that’s not really muggy) and honestly it’s perfect for that area. My neighbor has one too. We find it works for both summer and winter. I get really cold in the winter and it still keeps me warm in the winter but I don’t get too hot in the summer.
This was a great episode. I would like more like this. Also clothing ones to get us off fast fashion. Because sometimes finding something 2nd hand is difficult too.

I absolutely adore my buffy comforter. I live in New Orleans too. I did not like it at first, till I got a duvet cover from them as well. Where you are sleeping warms up, indeed, but if you move your body, wherever you move it to stays cool. Did you use sheets with it? That could have been why. I would recommend using only eucalyptus. Anyhow, I did try the breeze comforter and found it too cool... maybe that would be a better bet. I usually run hot too!

The Buffy comforter is great when I lived in Colorado during the spring/fall/winter months but now that I’m living in Arizona again, it’s currently in storage and we use a kantha blanket. Long story short, it’s definitely only good when it’s heckin cold.

Does the breeze fit in your washer? I want to buy a new comforter but we have such a hard time cleaning our comforter right now!
I am able to fit it in washer at laundromat however if you are washing at home would recommend washing in tub!
Good shout on the blade recycling though I had to look it up and to keep binmen safe you have to put them in a secure container so that's info.

The leaf razor is a game changer! It took me a long time to commit to spending that much money on a razor but its sooo worth it!!! I have unbelievably sensitive skin and all other razors tear my skin up, but with this one its customizable so I only put 2 blades in and leave the bottom empty and I have never had such a good shave in my whole life!! Highly reccomend!!
We've had a Tushy for a few years now and my hunny LOVES it. I personally like it, but still need to dry off and still need TP for the girly time of the month. But I do thoroughly enjoy the level of cleanliness that I personally dont get from wiping.

So glad you loved the Leaf razor!! I got one and love it and I’m trying to convince my mom to get one since she shaves twice a day, but she just can’t justify the price of one. I might end up getting her one for her birthday. I know it would get a ton of use! I had to remove the bottom blade because it was a bit too aggressive for me and ever since then it has worked fantastically! My only complaint is that I should’ve gotten a different color because I got the black one and we have hard water, so it does show the white buildup. You just have to go back and scrub it off every once in a while.
I will take my Leaf to the grave. Hands down the easiest and best swap I’ve ever made. It’s convenient, cheaper in the long run, and the company is such an amazing one to support. I use my Leaf razor EVERYWHERE, and I would recommend it to anyone.
So I really like soft "squishy" pillows so I was watching and it looked like a good thing for me, to bad I am running 8 patches on my normal pillow ::p.

We ordered the breeze version of the Buffy comforter and it's perfect. With the regular one my husband would sweat during the summer, but with this he stays cool but covered! Highly recommend the Breeze version for anyone wanting to try it. The texture of this blanket is incomparable to any I've ever tried.
Love this video! Super helpful. I would like one on some cleaning product ads I get all the time like Cleancult, Truman’s, etc. I recently tried Truman’s and have been finding that their dishwasher tablets and washer tablets don’t dissolve all the way and leave streaks on my dishes. It sucks even if the company is doing the right things when the product isn’t functional.
My tool kit, wagon and sewing machine are by far the biggest contributors to my ability to live low waste! I asked for a drill kit for my birthday last year and have loved every minute of it!

I have been following you for about 2 months give or take and I can’t describe how thankful I am to have stubbled into your channel! I haven’t thought deeply enough as to why it’s so important to seriously think about buying a product and if it’s even worth it. Sadly I’m not in the best state money wise since I’m just a teen but once I get a stable income I will without a doubt invest in things I truly need. My family is trying to slowly but surely to go into a more sustainable life. Ofc it can’t be a full 180° but it’s better than nothing; that’s something you taught me. Other videos that I’ve seen made me feel bad about not having sustainable things or not being sustainable myself. Not going to lie it made me feel so discourage to point where I gave up on trying to be sustainable. After a while TH-cam recommended me your videos and you were the first channel I’ve ever seen to be open and accepting about different life styles, even open about your life! I’ve ordered quite a bit of jewelry from Ana Luisa in the past month and I love them! I can acknowledge that some of their stuff may be too small for some people. But overall I think they’re great!
I feel like something like cause box could be good for someone starting off and “lost” but definitely doesn’t replace learning how to shop consciously.
Love your videos. I live in Finland, and we have a bidet in pretty much every bathroom of every home. It like, if you have a toilet and a sink there is also a bidet to complete some kind of holy trinity.

I have the classic Buffy comforter in an ocean part of Los Angeles (where you don’t need a/c because it’s generally a breezy area in a hot city that’s not really muggy) and honestly it’s perfect for that area. My neighbor has one too. We find it works for both summer and winter. I get really cold in the winter and it still keeps me warm in the winter but I don’t get too hot in the summer.

I absolutely adore my buffy comforter. I live in New Orleans too. I did not like it at first, till I got a duvet cover from them as well. Where you are sleeping warms up, indeed, but if you move your body, wherever you move it to stays cool. Did you use sheets with it? That could have been why. I would recommend using only eucalyptus.
Anyhow, I did try the breeze comforter and found it too cool... maybe that would be a better bet. I usually run hot too!

The Buffy comforter is great when I lived in Colorado during the spring/fall/winter months but now that I’m living in Arizona again, it’s currently in storage and we use a kantha blanket. Long story short, it’s definitely only good when it’s heckin cold.
