  • Hello Everyone, in this review I'll be showing you this 2001 Lexus RX300 Luxury Vehicle. Of course its currently for sale at Rodgers Enterprises, but I'd like you to see just how well this car has held up over the past 18 years of being driven here in America. Many vehicles on the Road just don't hold up as well as the Lexus does and that's mainly due to the Toyota Craftsmanship your purchasing. Yes in many cases Toyota's & Lexus will cost more to buy than Honda, Acura and many American Luxury vehicles. With that being said if you plan to keep your car for over 10 years this is what you have to look forward to! Also still being able to get a decent return on your investment which is rare to here when talking about automobiles ha ha. Today in 2019 this Car with over 200K Miles is still being sold for $8500. Try seeing what a 2001 Chevy Blazer or 2001 Acura MDX with over 200K would be selling for and that's if you can even find one in this good of condition still on the roads driving around. Most vehicles from back in 2001 are already dead at your local salvage yard / junk yard. Let me know if you'd be interested in buying this Lexus RX and if so I'd love to sell you it!

    Vehicles filmed at Dealerships are For Sale. Make sure to visit the dealerships website for detail info about each vehicle. If your watching a video thats older than 90 days you can expect that vehicle to most likely already being sold, unless its a new car.
    FYI - Charleston Car Videos on TH-cam Started in 2011. Back in 2008 is when I started filming cars as a car salesman to give people a better way to see a new or used vehicle. Over the years I ended up selling over 450 vehicles from doing videos. Today 1000's of vehicles have sold from people watching my car reviews in America.

    I got my 1999 last year with 220,000 miles on it, and it has been the best car. Now has 236,00 on it. I found a one owner on Graig's list, and got it for $2700.00. I found the original window sticker in the owners manual. New it sold for $27,000 and change. You have to love old Toyota's.

    Guide to managers special cars:
    1) oxidized headlight lenses (check)
    2) Broken cup holders (check)
    3) don't drive past second gear to hide issues (check)
    4) Lots of tread on the tires even though they may be dry rotted (check)
    If I go look at a used car the first things I look at are the tires, headlights and under the hood. If the engine has armor all all over everything I walk away. I like to see the engine before it is cleaned up to see what is leaking. Also, if they only want you to test drive it on surface streets and not a highway/freeway tell them to take a hike. A lot of drivetrain issues may only show up on the highway.
    You're welcome

      Just bought an ‘03 Lexus RX300, and I’m so glad I did my research and knew what to look for. The only thing I didn’t do was test drive on the highway (I didn’t think about it at the time unfortunately,) but the car’s in fantastic shape, drives like a dream, and I was able to polish out the oxidized headlights. :)

    I just bought one in that exact spec for $3700 with no issues and 117k miles 🥴😂 Dude wanted 6k for it (it was worth a hell of a lot more) but he was moving and all I wanted to spend was $3700. He dropped the price to 5k and I said all I got is 3700.. then 4K and I said all I have is.. 3700?.. Got to 3750 and he literally almost said no and started shaking his head while filling out the paperwork. I’m the proud second owner of a 2001 Rx300 with literally 0 problems, he was a mechanic which scared me until I found out it was one of his several personal cars he was selling 🤟🏽 Haven’t had a more reliable car, already put 10k miles on it and all I’ve done is the oil change and like one other very minor thing. I bought spark plugs, they’re just sitting in my glove box. Waiting to do those and another oil change soon. This review sucked ass and he’s on crack if he thinks one with 230k miles is going to sell for 5.5k 😂 IN the SOUTH. Boy, I live in the San Francisco Bay Area and they’re worth about that much, no way even in this market now is one that high mileage going for that much unless A LOT of shit was replaced

    I own one. 2001 Lexus RX300, 300,000 miles, everything works. The only thing that's gone wrong in the seven years I've owned it is an O2 sensor started to go, cost $400 to fix but outside of tires, brakes, oil changes, and wipers, it's cost me nearly nothing to own. Still rides nice, still luxurious (for its age), fits four very comfy. The only thing that bothers me is the beige over beige over beige color, old people love it, I hate it, but other than that, just amazing.

      I just bought a Lexus RX300 2 weeks ago. Worse piece of garbage I've ever owned! The knock sensors were bad so it doesn't shift into overdrive - so it was revving 5k rpms on the highway! What a piece of junk! Took it to my mechanic and he found a bunch of other problems wrong with it along with the knock sensors. It ended up costing me almost $2k to fix! I've owned 4 other vehicles and this is the most money I've had to spend on a vehicle. And it still isn't fixed! The 2nd day driving it after getting it back from the shop, it still won't shift into overdrive! Now back at the shop again! Biggest headache I've ever dealt with a vehicle!

    • @kg888
      @kg888 ปีที่แล้ว

      @danielx40 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@NATEG01I can fix your overdrive and knock sensor for 200 bucks. The knock sensor is buried under the intake manifold. Most likely the sensor itself is bad. There are two sensors. You can wire the bad one to the good one, so that the computer thinks both are good. Knock sensor does nothing but to tell you when engine has a knock. You don’t need it. It limits the car from getting in high gears, you literally need to cut one wire and connect it to another. $200. Let me know.😂

    I have the same color scheme in my baby definitely looked better at 150k than she does now at 255k but I've given her 10 years of solid use. She has not been a parking lot diva, she's been working horse. Only big regret I have is not installing the tow hitch immediately after purchasing the vehicle, I think I've waited something like seven or eight years before I ended up putting one on and it's just super nice for those select instances where you want to trailer or in my case I'm going to be carrying a dual sport motorcycle in the back which I always wanted to be able to do without having to have a pickup truck, which I will probably buy my future I just haven't had the need for two vehicles since this SUV is so damn useful

    I have a 2002 RX300 as a daily driver since 2018. It has 83K on it now and when I picked it up in Florida it had 42K and I had to replace the battery. My Mom bought it new for around $30K and quit driving it in 2016. It is the exact color as this one and brother it's one good ride. Last year I went to start it and nothing. I ended up replacing the engine computer PCM/ECU module for $900. The Michelin tires still have good tread and the brakes haven't needed replacement yet either. A couple of bulbs, wiper blades, and 7 oil changes and that's it for maintenance costs ( $1500 tops ). I guess I love it because it was Mom's but I surmise that I'd still appreciate it's value. Plan on replacing the timing belt and the full 100K checklist.

    I have a 2000 RX300. I wanna find one with the interior trim that this one has in a junkyard so I can steal the steering wheel and shifter knob lmfao. But they are fricking amazing cars. Toyota engines being taken care of can easily last to 350k or higher.

    Damn he broke the ashtray and didn't know the cupholder in the drawer clips in on the side, The other thing was a seat trim piece. Don't know what that part with the spring was but it shouldn't be there. The rear cupholder was just broken. I have one with 315,000 miles but I wouldn't buy a car that old - especially not for $5500.

    Hey if anyone on here could help me but before I start the RX 300 is a great lasting car btw , but recently my 2002 RX 300 got shot on the back drivers door side and I’ve been having a problem with the battery dying and my climate control not working and the antenna no longer goes up when I turn the car on. The car still runs perfectly fine and it’s drivable the lights work I took it to a mechanic he said the issue had nothing to do with the alternator so I took it to valveline and got a battery replaced for free and the next day the car dies again. Anyone ever had this issue before or have any suggestions someone please help
