Been having the RX 300 2002 coach edition for 9 years . Great car still riding today with over 288k miles. Just keep up with the maintenance and this car will drive forever
YO Coach edition owners! Mine’s an 02. Coming up on 278K+ miles. Thinking I might need to change the headlight lamps and get some cool black ones with LED bulbs. Good idea?
@@ZanethMedia That’s so cool that you guys have the elusive Coach edition. That grille is very cool. I attempted to install LED lamps into my RX300, but since there is about zero clearance behind the headlight buckets the heatsink fins on the LED “bulbs” didn’t have enough clearance to be installed. I ended up having to go with HID (high intensity discharge) bulbs, which worked out much better than LEDs ever would have. $30 for the bulbs and ballasts on Amazon (probably eBay, too)! The only thing is that you’ll have to unscrew and momentarily lift the fuse box to stow the left-side headlight ballast. Once stowed under the fuse box, everything goes back just as it was. It’s nice having modern brightness headlamps on the RX. If you do install HIDs, whatever you do, do not touch the glass bulbs with your bare fingers. As you may know, skin oil residue will cause the bulbs to crack when they heat up. If you do mess up and touch a bulb, clean with alcohol and cross your fingers.
love the video! bought ours in 2002 brand new when our daughter was a year old and we gave it to her when she turned 16. Now 5 years later our youngest is driving it. The car will not die!! Almost 200K miles on it.
Funny af. I'm laughing my way to the bank, paid 2,800 cash for mine while others are paying that much down on an Elantra with a loan for the next 10 years.
The best feature on that truck is the bird shit on the windshield. Bet if you let it roll off a cliff, you'd get like a million likes and thousands of subscribers. This was funny though. This definitely gets a like from me.
I did not pick it up - was leaking coolant out the radiator cap and heat wouldn’t work - just didn’t want to mess with it - it did DRIVE LIKE A DREAM though smoother than my 2013 ford
My sis got this car and it's been giving her hella problems so she bought a Kia now this Lexus is sitting in my drive I'm just wondering if I can do anything with it like modify it or something but I don't know much about cars so gotta do some research
Protip: Just about EVERY car has hella problems if not looked after properly. Previous owner was most likely a lazy bitch who couldn't tell his own asshole from a pothole in the road.

I picked one for my friend 3 years ago (150+k miles). It is so comfortable and reliable that I just got one for myself recently (270+k miles)
Awesome! I've been looking for a blisteringly fast SUV! This sounds like the one for me!

the borat reference saved the vid
I hate a dirty car like this Lexus RX. It saddens me that the owner treated this RX like shit. The RX doesn't deserve looking like shit.
The car is actually really clean usually. We purposely made it dirty for the shoot haha
Might pick one up with 250k miles on it tomorrow for $2500 - we shall see
