Love my 13 mini. Just returned my iPhone 15 Pro Max & went back to my mini. I’ll get a regular pro when I need to. I know they’ll eventually stop allowing the mini to update in the future 😢
The mini has three years left in the tank.
why did you jump to pro max instead of pro though?
@@AlexanderSuraphelsame thing I asked myself lol. I actually got the pro some time later. I usually get pros but I got the Max because of it having a bit more features. However, it’s not enough for me to stick with the max. The pro is just fine.
Just get the s23 ultra, problem solved lol an is still faster than the 15 pro max

I'm so tempted to move to the base 15 (not the pro or max or plus) as my eyes could definitely benefit from a larger screen but I just can't handle the vast phablet size of the plus and pro max and the new lighter base 15 (not the pro) would give me a good battery life bump plus a lot more screen. It's a tough call as I LOVE my 13 mini.

I'm with you there. I feel like the regular 15 would be a great upgrade with all of the differences. The 14 lineup was a joke, but now the base 15 has multiple things the $1,000 + 14 pros had.
I did exactly that switch. The bigger screen of the Base 15 is a nice to have, but its not too big. Still love the compact size of my 13, but the 15 will be my main device until apple releases another mini
I just switched from 13 mini to base 15. Crazy upgrade. Very noticeable. I very rarely upgrade phones but my mini was a little smashed up
It doesn't look like the fingers are tapping the screen at the exact same time. Keynote is the only one that's obvious where the Mini opens slower.
Was thinking of getting the 15 mostly for the USB-C port. but I really do love my 13 mini and think I will hang onto it for another year. Great review / overview!
They need to make tiny iPhones for minimal use. If you really walk around with a giant iPhone Pro or Max model in your little hand you’re modern trash. I miss the iPhone 5

If you don’t use your phone a lot but don’t want a tiny phone get the 13, you can find it for like 450 used 👍

In my opinion this is the one of my most favorite comparisons you have done.the iPhone 13 mini even tho I love the 15 the 13 mini in my opinion is my favorite of all time and also to me is the best phone ever made it has crazy performance and the storage options on it were very good it went all the way up to 512 gigabytes which is the one I have and mine is also in that alpine green and it’s very nice.

I kind of sometimes still regret trading in my 13 mini for 15 pro max. My old eyes don’t mind the switch though
I am thinking of moving to the iphone 15 from my 13 mini as it's lighter than the 15 pro (and 14/pro for that matter). The pro max's and pluses are just a bit too big for me to consider but the new 15 just the base model 15 seems very nice :)

I think speed comparisons are absolutely useless when it comes to ios. It would be more fruitful if you compare battery, heating issue or other stuffs which make sense

I like the 13 mini but the 15 is still a way better phone with a way bigger screen, Dynamic Island, faster A16 chip with 5 core gpu and a usbc port a way better camera at 48 megapixels, and a massive 3,349 mah battery with absolutely insane battery life compared to the 13 mini which has the same battery life as the 12 basically
The 13 mini is good but the 15 in my opinion is a way better phone

You know what I'll replace my mini 12 with.... A mini 13.. I don't want a phablet. So when apple wakes up and makes another mini I'll be sold but until then.. I will use my mini 12. 90 percent battery health left it lasts me all day
I have also held off upgrading because they make tablets for the pockets. I really dont like gigantic phones otherwise would have gone for android. Think will go for a 13mini.
It is amazing how people always come up with the same stupid concepts about comparing "older" tech with "newer"... the bias is always pychologically towards the newer tech - no wonder, marketing knows what it needs to do... implementing some "frosted glass" back which had been there 3-4 generations before and now its "new" again. Wrecking our planet for changing our phones every 6 months.

Its all about the sizes. I have too small hands from iphone 15 while iphone 13 mini is perfect for me. Also: I dont need a big phone. I use ipad for netflix while traveling. Macbook air at home. I would never use my iphone instead of ipad or macbook in airplane or at home.

@@Hubjeep For me the 13 was noticeably faster, and the battery didn’t degrade as quickly. (I’ve had it now for a couple of years, and only now the battery degraded slightly, from 100% to 98%.)

I have owned both an iPhone 13 mini and the iphone 12 mini. My old iphone 7 performs better than both of them and it a much more reliable phone. For £80, you can buy an iphone 7. This phone is 1000% more reliable than the iPhone mini, whose signature move involves crashing the iphone and getting stuck on the apple screen. My iphone 7 also has better battery life, despite being 7-8 years old.
Conclusion: buy the iPhone mini if you require a small iphone. Don't buy it for any other reason. It is a crap product, not worth £700-£800.
i still use my iphone 8 plus. just replaced the battery at apple and it works like new.

Apple went stupid on the new 15max and copied Samsung with a 50mp camera.. more doesn't always mean better.. it does mean tons more memory used on each photo you take takes up that much more space but it doesn't help the photo unless you know what you are doing. 99 percent of people don't know what they are doing taking blurry kid photos and cat videos is not photography.. 12mp camera has better versatility than a 50mp will all day long .
