8:38 “Subaru” Supra with 750 wheel?
That's a frozen shivering "Supra"
When the nice wealthier hits the road 224 located near the Clackamas river is a great place for a little bit of curvy driving.
New the the channel, you are driving that like 5 min from my house.
You know I wasn't sure about that blue color you chose, but now that we've seen it outside I think it looks amazing.
Looks epic please put a bonnet back on it :)
Wats a bonet?
@@mrg2176 states call it a Hood and in England UK we call it a bonnet lol
@@SpankeeBLING we Americans call this trolling. Merry good day to you and your bonnnet sir.
@@mrg2176 that's were we differ I call it a simple comment that's my opinion the Z would look better with a bonnet oops a Hood have a nice day
That V10 is one of the sweetest motor ever! And to put it in that 240z beauty 👌👌👌
The shifts seem kinda slow, is that normal?
i assume the transmission is still not working properly or maybe its in in normal mode
@@boostedprius4707 thats the shitty bmw dct for ya
@@butt5810 it's not a dct, it's a automatic manual
julian schanofski the SMG II found in the e60 M5 is dogshit. I don’t know why he decided to stick with it. But I will say that I know this powertrain very well and it was maybe 60-70% of it’s full potential and the SMG does shift faster in the highest shift setting which it does not sound like it’s in.
You have literally outdone yourself with this current build. Cheers mate!
Pretty slow for a V10 240Z ?
Zeke hes not all the way on the throttle which kinda made me mad
He said they found a place to open it up....... im still waiting for that to happen.
Wow what a sweet ride! My first drive with a stick was a 240 Z and it was yellow. I love that car and I will get one of my own. I owned a 350Z, a Nismo 370 Z which I just sold for a 2008 Audi R8. Keep up the good work man.
Chris when are you going to get a hood? And put a fender liner on that bad boy for the sake of your engine
Chris, please listen to this man!
They found his SEMA hood and it’s being shipped back to him.
Looks marvelous. Insane that you got this project finished and onto the roads so quickly.
First view. One of your biggest fans from Germany🤗
Glad to see the fruits of your labour are paying off, amazing build and proud to say I’ve been following since way before you starting the 240z, keep up the awesome work!!! Can’t wait for the next video and next build!!!
Blurred speedo then admits 85 :)
Or whatever the car thinks 85 is , speedo needs calibrating 😎
The Fairlady M is now the face of your channel. Most of us followed the entire build through, and it attracted a bunch of new subscribes. You are just not allowed to sell it, under any circumstances.
Where were the unhappy cops?
welcome to shitty clickbait
Great build. Good job! My only advice is that track time is cheaper than jail time.
You must like giving the guys gapping you something nice to look at in the rear view
1. Thanks for sharing that driving law for Oregon.
2. Car is BADASS! Pumped to see if it finally on the road!
3.That Supra!
way too tight inside that dash is huge for a tiny car
Mike Batista I was thinking the same been looking for one of these comments
There is no way in hell that's faster then the Aston or the Evora
Power to weight ratio is much better with the 240
@@derekrogers3426 But suspension geometry and grip/squat. I wonder if this will actually be able to put power down.
@@MDethCKR dont see why not, on his test drive it didnt really break traction
No but the chassis was constructed like something you would find under a 50's hotrod so I don't no why people even expect it to be fast. It's more like a gimmicky thing that's made to look fast if you ask me but of course there are load's of people being all defensive about it. Probably very few of them really no what their taking about though
8:39 sounds like you called the supra a subaru! Can tell you're super excited driving the beast.
0-60??? 1-8 mille??? drag race???
Did you even watch the video??? That's definitely not what that car is for anyway no one cares about that.. 500 horsepower 2500lb car= faster then you want to go in your first garage built car lol.. this is more of a test to make sure it goes straight down the road and search for any issues
@@freedomfox8183 he called the 240 a race car. I want to know the numbers of a 0-60 because you aren't in the car so it's just for a experience reverence
He also said he wants to race it, maybe against that Supra. We might get a chance to see this thing spread it's wings at a track spring next year.
@@freedomfox8183 this is the second comment on this video of u being a dick. Go tend to ur kids man.
Can't be publishing those number's because then everyone will know how fast it isn't
My two favorite cars had a baby and this is it. WHAT A TIME!!!
"It looks slow" says every 14 year old that doesn't drive. Dude has a running, driving, V10 powered 240z with a custom tube frame, y'all are cancer
Is a truthful opinion. Maybe it was bad camera angle, but I think everybody is just expecting more for such a long project.
@@MDethCKR I mean. He did say in a few responses the hadn't worked with the trans settings to shift faster. That and it doesn't seem like he's the type of guy to just let it eat at full throttle on a public highway.
@@General3rdLeg Just sayin, the title makes it seem like he actually got on the thing.
Cover the throttle bodies when you park it in your shop. The dust on the exterior is also in the TB’s
Got sent here by a friend and i must say this is my new favorite car...super impressive!! Looks amazing , this is something i would love to own
Happy for ya dude, the driving was the biggest test of it all. Fit and Finish for the final step!
that z is clutch. I had a shot at a yellow one with a 383 stroker in it. Had a body kit and all but drove like a camaro. 8 vrand and the guy bought it out from me put another 5k in it and it is nice. Wish I would have known. I thought it was a bad swap that needed taken apart. It had worn out suspension components all the way around.
That front splitter is creating lift instead of downforce. Beautiful car!
Black fender mirrors would be the cherry on top of this build!
Whoa I never realized you're local! If you ever need a hand, I'd be glad to come by and help! Awesome build man!
Finally got some decent light to show off that colour, damn Chris, now looks as good as it sounds, job well done.
I realy dot like to waste time on comments, but this time it is worth it. The sound is amazing, looks awesome, Good job !!!
Chris’s face when he hauls ass , that smirk 😂 , that follow car cam footage is amazing !! made up you did this video ! I’ve been looking forward to it so much !
I am so happy you made it from scratch, working and freaking gorgeous Chris!
Awesome job, all of you, one of the most interesting and cool builds ever!!! Keep them coming my man!
really enjoyed this video! to see the car driving around was a great feeling he actually built that car from almost nothing wow!
The sound of that V10 is just music. Fantastic!
Great video! I would have liked the burn out of course but I agree with you that once the cops come calling and you've been given a nudge and wink pass just go home and count your blessings! LOL. It was funny how you met the guy with the Supra and he makes an offer right off the top. Good stuff!
That was awesome Chris. Thank you for all the contents. I hope you didn't get fined. The Z is a rocketship. Keep it for sure. It's simply out of this world.
Instead of M mode it’s now is Z mode. I missed my E60 M5. Lots of respect, I love this build.
