Great piece of social history as much as anything. The sun being out shows everything off to it's best advantage too. I wish there was a series of films like this from the days when I was growing up on the south coast.
I agree, archives for the future. Plus, the summer always brings out earths beauty. God permitting, I will be able to reminisce in future years. It is fun to watch those old 1920s London videos amongst others.
Thanks for your support, much love :) i wish i was filming back when i was in Aus. Such a great country and lots to film. I was there for a year back in 2007. Drove from Melbourne to Brisbane and stayed in QL (Surfers - was a chef for Hard Rock on a working visa). One of the best years of my life for sure.
Was in England May 1 - 14, nice weather. Visited Southport, nice but the sea about one mile away! Then Brighton & Eastbourne, all good but "pebble" beach no sand, Bournmouth looks the best, definitely my next visit ! Greetings from Split Croatia
Bournemouth to sandbanks is my personal favourite beaches in England. Brighton is a nice town but I'm not a fan of the pebble beach, just not the same. I need to visit Croatia, only ever heard wonderful things ❤️
@@thestreetsof I was at Cornwall another time St.Ives is beautiful, the street & houses very different of English town, maybe a little like Mediterranean/Adriatic. You should visit Croatia, maybe Bosnia too
That sounds great I have been to surfers a long time back,we lived in Sydney at Bondi for 3yrs and loved it in my younger days also lived in Perth for 2yrs very clean and pretty city.where do you live?have a great day look forward to future videos love from Aussie ❤🇦🇺
That's awesome, I still have friends over in Aus. I do miss it. it's such a cool country 😎, never made it to the west coast though 😩. I have lived in 15 different cities in 3 countries. But I'm from the UK, sunny sunny Bournemouth. 🌞 thanks for stopping by Anne
One of the best in the UK, we have blue flag beaches ⛱️ I used to live in surfers and brisbane for a couple of years, the beaches there are also top notch for sure...
@@Cooked-rc4qb All sewage in Bournemouth used to be processed and filtered in sand beds, the filtered sewage was then pumped with oxygen and it ends up as clean water. It then it enters the river. This is an EU regulation. Since Brexit, the environmental regulations have been relaxed and the water companies are allowed to pump 50% of the sewage into the rivers and sea.
Weird our EPI score is better than 23 of the 27 EU nations. Only 4 EU nations have a 100 score as does Britain. Only European nations score 100, every other nation in the world scores lower. Japan scores 91.8

Maybe for some people is not "normal" going to the beach in England. But i used to live in Bournemouth and its a beautifull city
Fantastic in the summer for sure.
Fantastic for sure
i agree
Bournemouth is a great place to live, taken a hit in the last few years due to the mess of 2020 and its fallout for tourist towns.
I agree - so nice
Nice❤
Thanks 😊
Lovely brief heatwave that was 😂.. Hopefully we'll get another one soon lol
Damn straight

Is this not the best Beach in the WORLD, i think it is...everyone else is wrong
Maybe, but then beauty is in the eye of the beholder for sure.
For an English beach I'd say that doesn't look too bad. Hi from Australia.

not too unfunny for an Australian comment. Well done lad.
it stretches for a good 6 miles, hopefully we will get to see some of the other parts
the beach looks good but what about the water? is it nice & warm this time of the year? or still like 10-15°c?
@johnnylabu765 I think it is pretty cold still, need a couple of heat waves to warm it up a little.
You can almost smell the sewage.
Foods for the fishes.
where would sewage go if not into the sea? just curious...
