All these posts about contacting me for a prize.....they are scams! I'm doing my best to delete, block and remove them all, but they are NOT me. So far TH-cam hasn't taken care of this problem but it's not just this channel it seems to rampant.
They hit another contributor a month ago. I just saw a post from yet another contributors who just had it happen to her, just like you, in the past 24 hours. Hope it gets solved quickly for your channel. Take care of yourself.
I know it sounds silly that a TH-cam channel could change your life, but for me, this one did. Gave me the courage to journey into 3 acres, live out of a wall tent on the weekends and build a little cabin. (And yes, consequently we are very very fond of our wall tent and decided to keep it up) We have five young kids and we got it done. Finally getting that wood stove in. The memories my kids now have of cutting down trees and diggin outhouse holes and sitting by a firepit on their own land is precious. Dave, you (and your wife!) inspire me. I’ve always used your videos as a guide and as inspiration. What you and Brooke share matters- thank you
Not silly at all. I've learned so much about so many things from You Tube vids. I'm about to buy a 4 1/2 AC place in the country and look forward to utilizing much of this knowledge. Oh, and I'm 77 yrs old, so I better git on it. lol
Probably the best Ryan's th-cam.com/users/postUgkxGZedDTcDfgD7fG_uU4esfx_EgxzlY2_1 Plans on building a shed is hardly ever found. And Ryan takes the mystery out of different types of foundation options, etc. He even shows how to build a shed with different designs. Very comprehensive, covering different roofing materials, siding, etc.
I was so excited when I saw you uploaded another building video. There is nothing that makes me feel more relaxed and forget about my problems than your videos. Your narration and outlook is just fantastic. Thanks again, Dave!
I totally agree with this comment! Dave's videos are a time machine to when life was simpler. Seeing the results of a hard day's work is so satisfying, and Dave's narrating style is very soothing. This is one of my top 5 TH-cam channels. 🙌🏽
I've built two small buildings alone at our off grid place in Maine following your general methods. I am no carpenter and they came out great. Solid. Dry. No frills. Thanks for the very relevant things you share.
Yea he’s fun to watch and has great methods to building. Hey I’m in Maine. Where abouts is your place ? Generally speaking. I’m in central Maine and have a camp an hour north.

Your basic cabin video series inspired me to build a cabin in my backyard. I didn't do a few things like paint and some blocking and going back and doing it is quite a pain. I definitely learned my lesson. And just as you said in your other videos, everyone is going to make mistakes, don't let that stop you from trying something like this. There are some spots I screwed up but it's sturdy and we now have a cabin/workshop with a wood stove and camp in it on the weekends with the kids. Really enjoyable in the rain. Need to figure out a door for it though, interested to see what you put on this one.

Bushradical is my favorite channel on TH-cam and Girl in the Woods is my wife's favourite channel on TH-cam. We love your guys' videos. They have been so inspirational and educational for us as I am learning how to build and we are building our little off-grid homestead up a mountain in the forest of the West Kootenays of British Columbia. Thank you so much Dave and Brooke for making these amazing and inspirational videos. As total newbies to building our off-grid homestead with no building experience, the process can be quite intimidating. These videos have served as a great lighthouse for us on our homestead building journey. God bless.

Thanks Dave for sharing your building knowledge. The information about Red headed anchor bolts are exactly what I needed for our carport build. We have an old concrete slab that we are using to rebuild a storage/carport/summer porch that we were trying to figure out how to make the walls. We were at a standstill and then I watched your new video and now we can move forward. I just had my husband watch it too so now he knows what we need to buy and how to do it. Super HUGE thank you!!
That was great, Dave!! I get bits and pieces of the process every time you make one of these building videos & I thank you! God bless you & yours brother🙏🙏🙏🙏
I love this video. You were looking at building storage. I see a new tiny greenhouse in my future. I would just enclose the open area in some way, maybe with small windows. Then get some temperature activated arms to open and close. Line openings with screening material to help keep the bugs out. Put more poly panels on the roof and halfway up the walls. Might just add a little stove for cold winter nights. I am in southern Ohio, so less cold and snow. Not sure what to do with the floor since it would be subjected to water several months of the year. If I am real ambitious, I could add a small gutter on the back that drains into a couple of rainbarrels. Thank you for the inspiration!
I want to say thank you for give me inspiration to go and chase my dreams ive watched your cabin in the woods more times then i can count…now i own 40 acres and am in the beginning of building my own cabin….thanks again

I was hired about 10 years ago to reseal a auto parts store roof with a aluminum reflecting seal , about 20' high , I had to use a 24' extension ladder, while I was up there the wind picked up , blew the ladder into the parking lot, there was nothing to tie it off to . My phone was in the car , I had to jump into a spruce about 8' from the roof and climb down , cut my stomach up a bit , you know I didn't fall , because I am writing this today 😬 , love the building, you never come short of great work , and I always learn something 💯🍻✌️
You always make it look so simple. Absolutely love your videos wish you made more weekly but I totally get it. I will just wait patiently for the next fantastic Bushradical video.

See through is what we had underneath our deck up north in Wisconsin and it also enclosed our under part of the deck to warm the area !!! It would get up to 90's degrees in there and it would heat the 2 story home of ours !!! Used fans to blow the warmth on up and around the stairway to save on heat for us !!! You did a Fine job there Dave it is something that I would have done myself!!!

My phone was in the car , I had to jump into a spruce about 8' from the roof and climb down , cut my stomach up a bit , you know I didn't fall , because I am writing this today 😬 , love the building, you never come short of great work , and I always learn something 💯🍻✌️
Awesome! It's good to hear I'm not alone in hating laters and wanting to jump into trees
You always make it look so simple. Absolutely love your videos wish you made more weekly but I totally get it. I will just wait patiently for the next fantastic Bushradical video.
Thanks
I did a lot of building in Alaska on my homestead. But I have to say I have learned a good deal watching and listening to you. I guess what you would consider little points. But they make something go smoother and easier. You use great basics and basic practical for the job. Very good. Thank you.
Thanks
You should have a couple of teenagers helping you!!

I love your voice, like a white Morgan Freeman. It’s so soothing and easy to understand, added to how basic you explain an idea or concept.

But i am sure you have heard this alot. Would love to see you and taking projects like this on together. Not a simple task. All i want to convey is that connection with wilderness is 100 but doing it with your love/significant other/pups/.....means even more. Just started watching your wifes channel. and now both of yours. we are from lower michigan. trying to get out for over 2 years now. not easy task.
Hello from Scotland! Just wanted to say a thank you for making these videos! I love learning a new trade skill and your soothing voice and no BS explanation of how to build mixed with some fun facts or advice etc. It's always a good day when you upload as I know I have something good to watch while I have my morning tea!
Also I love the red flannel! I have one similar!
Thanks !
You did a Fine job there Dave it is something that I would have done myself!!!
thanks
As always, Dave, I learn something new and become inspired too. Thanks for being Radical.
Thanks
I love the old-school methods you teach for building... a hammer not a nail gun? A handsaw? Love it!
Thanks
Always a pleasure to unwind to a new Bushradical video after a long day of work on the farm. Keep up the good work my friend!
Thanks, will do!
Nothing beats a home grown apple. Snacks. Tunes. Plus, you make it look so easy. Thanks.
Thanks!
Great vid. Relaxing before bed. Shed roofs are underrated. Don't jump off that roof old man! I'm 51 and regret many choice's in my life but hurting your back is a big one!
Thanks for the tips!
So much simple about the rafters. I like so much. Been watching about rafters all mathematically give me hard time, your vid best, thanks.

Creative. That's what I do here on the Big Island of Hawaii; recycle structures. Thank you. It's a fun video.
I love the idea of starting a job with new saw blade. I had a crazy dull saw blade . I could not cut 1/2” plywood!! Thanks for little tips.
You bet!
