You are on top of my favorite reactor now! You knew about the intentional vocal cry/break. Mori has this ability to control and use vocal breaks, squeaks, whistles whenever she wants to add spice/flavor. She can sing and dance, rap, play instruments!

she's one of the most rising singer of the Philippines. Won on The Voice Philippines at the age of 16 and right then she started soaring on the music industry.. she's one of the Philippines's pride.
FUN FACT: Morissette can sing all her whistle tones with her mouth closed!!!! She also plays piano and can play guitar with either hand with no loss in competency. She is a talented, beautiful woman in a tiny package at 5'1" tall and 105 lbs.. I've never heard her sing a song badly. In fact at this moment, I don't know of a better singer. If you want a demonstration of her total control over her voice you need to see her performance in the Asian Pacific Song Festival 2017. She did so well they invited her back for the next year. No one in the history of that Festival had ever been invited back to sing in any year let alone the very next year. But we're talking about Morissette here she does what others can only dream of and she does so without the 'Prima Donna' attitude. She is remarkably humble and irrepressibly happy. I've read several comments about seeing her and calling out to her hoping to get a wave, or something. What most got was her either coming to them talking to them taking pictures and generally thanking them for their support. I've never heard of any bad behavior. She had one incident where a reporter asked a very private question that was so hurtful she left the performance in tears. She got raked over the coals over that. Even though she apologized, there are some who won't let it go. So Morissette is the Queen , long live the Queen!!!!!!

At the time I posted this comment there were 269👎. After seeing that horrifying number I feel compelled to defend her and so I shall.
If any of you in "The 269 Club" are Musicians and/or Singers, and you posted negative comments about Miss Morissette Amon's musicianship, you are neither a Musician or a Singer. Shame on you all. Jealousy, yes. Envious, yes. Judgemental finger pointing hippocrits, absolutely. Racist, perhaps. All are NEGATIVE, and potentially harmful, and dangerous emotions that can breed resentment and hatred. I'll never know what your reasons are, but I don't have to because they are all unfounded, baseless and without merit.
Let me take this a step further. I dare any one of you, I double dare any one of you members of "The 269 Club," to duplicate Miss Amon's LIVE performance, film it, record it and then upload it on to TH-cam. Yeah, that's what I thought.
For those of you who are non-musicians and posted negative comments regarding Miss Amon's musicianship, a subject of which you know nothing about, you have an excuse. You simply don't know any better and that's just ignorance. Ignorance can be remedied by providing one with information and education. However, if you posted negative comments because you're STUPID, well . . . I can't fix STUPID.

I read in another reaction that Mori was comparable to a stealth bomber, in that her performance starts off gently, softly, gradually building up power, and the next thing you know, *BAM!*, Mori's A6 Whistle Bomb dropped from outta nowhere. Just like what happened to Katriinka here. And lots of other reactors, for that matter.
Perhaps I'd just think of the ignorant ones of the 269 club were merely premature in disliking, and were too shell shocked to undo the dislike.

I am so glad you mentioned the ' crack ', I was able to hear and savor that a few years ago, but not any longer including the very high whistle due to progressive hearing loss, the crack and the ' whine ' make the song much more flavorful, thank you, you are truly qualified to give critical analysis.

Michael Angelo Nieves Lopez maybe, but it’s a very difficult song to sing. It’s also one of the few recorded versions of Morissette covering Mariah, she hasn’t exactly done the whole discography lol.
