I met A DECOY 5 years ago, and I got sucked in quickly. But I'm so grateful that I talked persistently about my walk with the Lord. So much so until he told me to just pray about "US", and see what the Lord would say about us getting into the relationship. I was eager to pray too, and The Lord immediately said "DECOY!!!" I told him what God told me, and he asked me "what does that mean?" I told him that means he's not THE ONE, and if I were to move ahead with becoming involved with him I would jeopardize my future. I ran like a scalded dog.

This just happened to me. He said he wanted to marry me and everything but it didn’t feel right. Because He kept tempting me, testing me and pressuring me. I told him, If you really care for me, it's in an unhealthy way. This is not the kind of relationship that I want. I don’t want to marry you under pressure. So, I'm sorry to say that I don't want to waste our time anymore and have to let it go. He was quick to say ok because he was exposed. I kept on repenting, praying and asking for help with this. The one I was with responded with saying "I'm not gonna convince you to be with me". It was rather easy because I had Tony and Mr. Blakes giving the knowledge out. yes..not easy I have 3 new male friends..and I dont feel it is totally right ..they ll talk to me more than I can talk to them..some would lean over the table with their hands/arms too close to me..would be open on some subjects but not all .. Anyway so far I keep them as friends..I was made redundant and will go back to education full time one more year..so I have more free time to meet more people.. but yeah for example words like 'listen' when I didnt even speak or try to interject ..Also there is some jealousy I think..I saw that in one man who asked me tips about a type of paint..so I zoomed into a photo of my art to show the opacity of the paint..and saw in the man's eyes some resentment, fear and said 'yeah ok ' as if he knew but he had asked me to spell the brand..I dont know how to describe.. I did meet men in the past who were truly interested and also in my art..so there is hope..I dont know but I think there is a lot comparisons ..and the men want to be better than the women..its rare someone impresses me and makes me laugh..sometimes its not even logical..

I totally agree with what you're saying. I had been praying for a husband, and then met a very charismatic, sexy, outgoing, charming man. BUT, he was totally wrong for me, and was not the kind of man character-wise that I had been praying for. He was the devil's decoy, that I became distracted with. The had position &title but their character were corrupt
I wish all women knew from the start that every man not only shows his beautiful side in the beginning, but most show a gentleman, respectful, cool, loving representative that ends up being completely different from the real person. In order to not be fooled, look at his actions, the care, attention, time he invests, not what his mouth says and not even what his gifts say; it means nothing for a man with money to spend a tiny part which for you seems big, just to win you over. Don't be enchanted by flowers and gifts which are meant to get you to his bed but don't prove he truly values you.
@@dublingirl1691 Thank you very much & for sharing ! I think the best way to navigate this is to always remind yourself that no matter what you go through in life, the purpose is to be happy. So if a person was in your life but for some reasons it did not work out, you cannot allow yourself to suffer or be affected because you are not together anymore. If you are not together it's because he was not the one to make you happy (he was either doing or acting wrong) so if he didn't have the values, character or actions to make you happy, you didn't lose anything. Therefore whenever you are reminded of him because he lives close to you, remember you want happiness, so you don't need or want anyone who isn't capable of offering it to you. Now he is just another neighbour, like the song says "someone that i used to know". Throw the blame or regret away because we cannot always guess from the beginning how it will be, sometimes we have to go through something, invest some time and feelings, only to learn some new lessons and start all over again. But if you never try to find happiness, you are guaranteed to never find it. And it's better to have separated from the ones that were not for you, than to be tied to them for years or a lifetime, being unhappy or under-valued and putting all your time, feelings and energy into trying to make them the right ones for you when they were never that. So not all losses are a loss when what you lost is different from true happiness or true love.

I hear you, i know how it feels when you still have something on your heart to say to someone who did you wrong, but in these types of situations you have to think of 2 things: 1 is if that person really has the ability, empathy or character to appreciate your honesty or improve their opinion about you if they hear you being honest. 2 is consider the alternative: if you do go and say something after so much time, how would you feel if his ego gets a boost and he thinks he now has one on you because you look like you haven't gotten over him? (you can answer in your mind) If the answer is bad, unhappy or like you took a step back, then you now know why it's better for some things to be left unsaid. And life has a way of giving us back for any injustice, so you may continue to carry on with your life and one day an opportunity will appear where he will come talk to you. It's then where you can have a cold attitude for him to ask you what is wrong and it's there where you can tell him that nothing is wrong, you moved on a long time ago but just for his information, you did realize what he was up to and so on. Sometimes it's our ego that hurts because we didn't catch up to something quite fast enough or we didn't use the right words or we could have ended it with a different attitude but didn't and so we keep replaying things in our heads and running possible scenarios but the truth is the other person is sometimes not even worth this effort of us continuing to torment, worry, wonder or use or time and energy on them and it's how they treated us that shows if they are worthy or not.

Omg i think this video hits the nail right on. A man who I thought was straight up and down and committed to me ended up being shady, playing games and disappearing toward the end of our relationship. Im sad to say that I trusted him and really bought his excuses of being busy and not being in the mood to talk when he has the time to scroll through social media liking half naked pictures on instagram. Trust your intuition, ladies!! God blessed us with a powerful intuition and if we are in tune with Him, the Holy Spirit shows us the truth. If we ignore it, there will be a high price to pay. We can let all kinds of messages fool us, but if I look at all the times when I chose poorly, I knew the truth all along in my gut. Being honest about the situation and listening to that still, small voice in our hearts will usually guide us on the right path and keep us out of trouble!

So glad I watched this. Long story short… I’d started talking to this guy. He was consistent the first 2 weeks…so sweet. Then I started to notice an energy shift around week 3 -5. (A roller coaster) Texting less & would call/FaceTime for no longer than 5 minutes. I started to feel like he wasn’t trying to get to know me. Not to mention on 2 occasions I called him & he picked up before the phone could fully ring & all I could hear was the tv in the background. He’d text later and act as if nothing happened. This made me think he’s hiding something, so I removed myself. I’ve been out of the dating game for a long time & just now “getting my feet wet.” In the past I would have stuck around and made excuses for his inconsistency. I started praying about this guy from our first conversation and God started showing me signs little by little. I already knew in my heart that he was a distraction…the decoy.

I wish all women knew from the start that every man not only shows his beautiful side in the beginning, but most show a gentleman, respectful, cool, loving representative that ends up being completely different from the real person. In order to not be fooled, look at his actions, the care, attention, time he invests, not what his mouth says and not even what his gifts say; it means nothing for a man with money to spend a tiny part which for you seems big, just to win you over. Don't be enchanted by flowers and gifts which are meant to get you to his bed but don't prove he truly values you.
@@dublingirl1691 Thank you very much & for sharing ! I think the best way to navigate this is to always remind yourself that no matter what you go through in life, the purpose is to be happy. So if a person was in your life but for some reasons it did not work out, you cannot allow yourself to suffer or be affected because you are not together anymore. If you are not together it's because he was not the one to make you happy (he was either doing or acting wrong) so if he didn't have the values, character or actions to make you happy, you didn't lose anything. Therefore whenever you are reminded of him because he lives close to you, remember you want happiness, so you don't need or want anyone who isn't capable of offering it to you. Now he is just another neighbour, like the song says "someone that i used to know". Throw the blame or regret away because we cannot always guess from the beginning how it will be, sometimes we have to go through something, invest some time and feelings, only to learn some new lessons and start all over again. But if you never try to find happiness, you are guaranteed to never find it. And it's better to have separated from the ones that were not for you, than to be tied to them for years or a lifetime, being unhappy or under-valued and putting all your time, feelings and energy into trying to make them the right ones for you when they were never that. So not all losses are a loss when what you lost is different from true happiness or true love.

I hear you, i know how it feels when you still have something on your heart to say to someone who did you wrong, but in these types of situations you have to think of 2 things: 1 is if that person really has the ability, empathy or character to appreciate your honesty or improve their opinion about you if they hear you being honest. 2 is consider the alternative: if you do go and say something after so much time, how would you feel if his ego gets a boost and he thinks he now has one on you because you look like you haven't gotten over him? (you can answer in your mind) If the answer is bad, unhappy or like you took a step back, then you now know why it's better for some things to be left unsaid. And life has a way of giving us back for any injustice, so you may continue to carry on with your life and one day an opportunity will appear where he will come talk to you. It's then where you can have a cold attitude for him to ask you what is wrong and it's there where you can tell him that nothing is wrong, you moved on a long time ago but just for his information, you did realize what he was up to and so on. Sometimes it's our ego that hurts because we didn't catch up to something quite fast enough or we didn't use the right words or we could have ended it with a different attitude but didn't and so we keep replaying things in our heads and running possible scenarios but the truth is the other person is sometimes not even worth this effort of us continuing to torment, worry, wonder or use or time and energy on them and it's how they treated us that shows if they are worthy or not.

Unfortunately this is the world we live in, those who do wrong can move on quickly without feeling guilt or remorse and continue to think the world of themselves regardless of how their character really is, because at the end of the day it takes someone without heart, morals or character to do wrong, so if they don't have them in order to act right, they won't have them in order to feel guilty. The fact that you ended the relationship quickly is very good and all the more reason to not feel the need to demonstrate anything more, because that already showed you have standards. Yes they can be very convincing and promise the world in order to get what they want, this is why it's good to watch the actions and let time tell. Omg i think this video hits the nail right on. A man who I thought was straight up and down and committed to me ended up being shady, playing games and disappearing toward the end of our relationship. Im sad to say that I trusted him and really bought his excuses of being busy and not being in the mood to talk when he has the time to scroll through social media liking half naked pictures on instagram. It was like I was dating his facade the entire time i called this man my boyfriend. and whats super embarrassing is that he's 10 years older than me and in the military! Wow. Trust your intuition, ladies!! God blessed us with a powerful intuition and if we are in tune with Him, the Holy Spirit shows us the truth. If we ignore it, there will be a high price to pay. We can let all kinds of messages fool us, but if I look at all the times when I chose poorly, I knew the truth all along in my gut. Being honest about the situation and listening to that still, small voice in our hearts will usually guide us on the right path and keep us out of trouble!

So glad I watched this. Long story short… I’d started talking to this guy. He was consistent the first 2 weeks…so sweet. Then I started to notice an energy shift around week 3 -5. (A roller coaster) Texting less & would call/FaceTime for no longer than 5 minutes. I started to feel like he wasn’t trying to get to know me. Not to mention on 2 occasions I called him & he picked up before the phone could fully ring & all I could hear was the tv in the background. He’d text later and act as if nothing happened. This made me think he’s hiding something, so I removed myself. I’ve been out of the dating game for a long time & just now “getting my feet wet.” In the past I would have stuck around and made excuses for his inconsistency. I started praying about this guy from our first conversation and God started showing me signs little by little. I already knew in my heart that he was a distraction…the decoy.
