I bought a white 4.0 mustang premium, with two tone interior yesterday, "No bull", mines automatic though. No stickers or stripes on it. I like it polar bear white. I am thinking of getting the louvered side window covers for it, but don't know if it will create a big blind spot with them ?¿ l liked your video, show us your 4.0 next time around.👍
I 100% agree with you man. I have a 2010 V6 with dual Roush catback exhaust system and I never got bored of it ever since I bought it last year. I also agree that you shouldn't spend more than what you paid for the car. My Roush exhausts will be my last mod because I know modding can be addicting. but my mileage is pretty high (150k) and so I'm currently investing for the next two years to get a 2022 or 2023 Mustang GT.
I bought one couple days ago and it’s the same exact one as yours, some of these things are exactly what I wanna do to mine. Black rim, black racing stripes. Looks great dude
It’s good setup to go for especially for v6 because no one knew what it was once you do the exhaust. I always got told wow nice mustang then I was asked what was under the hood and I would just laugh 😆.
Fellow 2010 4.0 standard owner I got completely fucked by the dealership being sold a lemon and all but it was a blessing in disguise because of all the issues the car had I took it upon myself to fix it myself I recently just changed my old stock clutch to a spec stage 1 organic clutch and replaced the squealing slave cylinder/throw out bearing. Being realistic it was a pain in the ass but still very doable I’d recommend them just because of how easy they are to work on.
I have a 4.0 v6 2008 with stick and its been extremely reliable. Altenrator and battery died once, not a huge deal. Only other issue ive ever really had was a damaged thermostat housing (its plastic and they break eventually). Pretty easy fix as well, and luckily no other damage was done when that happened. My clutch is starting to go, and it has seen around 100k kms since its last clutch and it still works fine, but there are just signs of wear. Everything else has just been nornal maintenence. I also live in canada and winter tires make it very useable Body is still decent as well, unfortunately rusting is happening because i winter drive it. Damn shame.
Sadly, that's pretty average from what I've seen with inflation. $15,000 is a decent deal though for 60k miles. I wouldn't spend any more than that though. If it was me. I'd save $2,000 more and go haggle with a dealership and get yourself a v6 s550 for $17k and like 80-90k miles on it. That being said if you love S197 body style 100% respect that.
A 2010 v6 manual Mustang is one of the sickest “sleeper” cars out there. On paper the HP numbers seem weak… but only to those who don’t recognize that the 2010 4.0 manual V6 is the second lightest Mustang in the past 3 decades. (2004 3.9 Manual is lightest) Now, factor in the right suspension and engine mods and your looking at an absolute beast of a daily that’s both affordable and a blast to drive. It’s 2022 now but if you can find a 2010 v6 manual with under 75,000 on it you are basically getting a new car, minus modern bells and whistles
Very nice 4.0 any updates. I have a 09 4.0 mustang with mods and tune as well as suspension mods and 100 shot Nitrous with a dual purge system.I am also doing more to it. I also have mods I have not installed yet but I will soon.
Its still Worth it in fact this model from 2010 to 2014 is one of the best out there. .. modern look and killer look .. the V6 and V8 still have better sales than the 2015- 2019 .. with the V6 we can still beat the ricers out there with Hondas ..
I bought one for 3800. With 170 k miles. And i have spend around 800 dollars . Most of oil filters sparkplugs battery brakes . Thank god i do my own mechanic work if not that would be double .
I mean you can start with a muffler delete haha probably cost $50 or less at local shop. That can give you some volume but some people will call you out as a ricer but hey if you enjoy the sound that’s all that matters in the end. You do what you want, I had muffler delete on mine. As for like something crazy or super deep, you are probably looking at new system which if you have same model as mine will cost you around $600 on American muscle not including install obviously. Lastly I haven’t done a ton of research on this but I think it can be relatively cheap. There is something that many people do called exhaust cutouts and from what I know that can add a lot of sound.
personally i loved my 05' screaming yellow V6 so much more than my current 2010. I love them both for different reasons but i will never go back to any other car!
Aye bro so when upgrading your 2010, did you just buy the parts you wanted added and went to a shop or did you go to the shop and told them what you wanted and they ordered and installed for you ? Just trying to see what’s the smoothest process for that.
Most parts I just did myself. As for exhaust though I go to shop show them what you want to get and ask for pricing for putting it on that way you can find best place and price. Most things though thankfully are just bolt on easy installment with American muscle videos.
Well if your like me anything with two doors is better lol but not always the most reliable. Mustang is nice, not bad first car, just have to invest money for it to be nice in my opinion. Mods can be steep. Scion FRS is a cool sports car-not very fast but looks a lot better exterior and interior even when stock. Toyota’s will last you maybe by the time you can drive a Toyota 86 would be affordable. Jeep wranglers are dope if your into off-roading. There’s the Hyundai Genesis coupe, not sure about how well aftermarket is held up for those but I know they run pretty cheap and are fast v6s and most are equipped with Manual transmission which makes it all the better. Tokyo drift style there is Nissan 350z is not bad if your into small compact, cheap, and it has great speed. Maybe even 370z by time you can by car. If you have low budget but want to have ton of fun, a Honda Miata might be the way to go. Classic Infiniti G37 might be a way to go on budget. I’ve seen many clean ones. I would personally stay away from Mazda rx-8 they look sporty and may be cheap but it has a rotary engine in it and those are hard to fix. That’s basically the list, there is also a Camaro which are pretty cool but I think reliability isn’t all there either which is tough for first car choice. Most of these options are under 10k. Hopefully that helps, keep working hard don’t get bogged down by nice cars, find the car you want to get and get it as close as you can to way you like it and then do the rest of the mods on your own to make it perfect. Good luck!
If you have to make payments on it just write down how much the payments would be and the gas cost per week. Then compare it to how much you make. It is fun to have, but if it is taking a lot of your money then you lose your freedom. If it was me, take your money get something you can provide a service for (like a lawnmower), and go make money. Use your money to make money, till you can pay cash for what you want. No matter the item it is never worth it to go into debt. If you have to get a car find yourself a cheap manual truck/jeep/car. You'll have just as much fun.
@@alejandrodiazmartinez3777 I think go for it personally! Mustang will be faster and probably more enjoyable. As for verifying, the best way is to have a mechanic check it out for you. Typically if it is a good dealer they will let you drive the car to a mechanic and drive it back. If not just pop the hood look for heavy rust, make sure there isn't any leaks. Look for wet oil spots on the engine. If its manual watch a video on how to tell if a clutch is healthy. Simple stuff like that. Check carfax see if it was regularly maitenanced. Wish you the best of luck! Also get a manual worth it.
