I had a 2010 GT no track pack, 5 speed, 3.73 sterling gray, alum adj rear lower control arms, ford racing short throw, airaid cold air, 62mm throttle body, straight pipe custom axle back, sct bama race tune and ford racing intake manifold. That car could jump a ridge like the duke boys...did that once with a victim I mean passenger at 76 mph and Bo and Luke woulda have been proud, that car would usually scare 16 year olds personally my greatest fear would be a new driver in that car stock! People can hate but the four six does neat tricks and is no slouch especially coming to delivering that factory rating to both rear wheels it has a straight pipe howl that will tickle your funny bone!!!
Nice car. Couple of things. 1. That’s not a track pack car. Yes, they used those wheels, but with wider 255 tires, no spoiler, and it was not available with automatic. Also you could not get 3.73 gears with an auto. 2. The standard 2010 GT does have a stiffer suspension than the 05-09 because it was based off the Bullit suspension but with bigger springs. The track pack takes it further with GT500 suspension components. 3. It’s the same exhaust as 05-09 GTs, but the 2010s have more sound insulation. Hence the intake sound tube. 4. They make 315 ho 325 tq stock. 10 more ft lbs of torque under 3000 rpm if you use premium. 5. Heated seats were an option, even for premiums. 6. All 2010s with the optional 19 inch wheels cane with a strut brace. I know this because I do have a 2010 track pack. They only made 567 for that year.
I just bought a 2010 Track pack. One owner, was a daily driver so higher mileage(139,000). But I love the colors kona blue with silver stripes. I feel lucky to own one, even got the heated seats! Lol 😆
Actually, contrary to the information you gave regarding the headlights, the 2010 came with available HID headlamps as an option. My 2010 Vert has them. Also a 3.73 gear was not available on the automatics. Only a 3.55. Just wanted to clarify that for folks interested in purchasing one. One more thing, the Track Pack was only available as a manual transmission so your automatic there does not have the Track Pack
Your brother was only 16 yet he has a Mustang GT? Your insurance company must love you; friends I know in their early 20s are still paying way overpriced premiums on anything less than 4 doors yet have less than 300hp.
Nice review! There are are couple of things that I like better on the 05-09 GT models. I like the digital gauges but not with the white background. The steering wheel is way too busy. The cruise control buttons on my ‘07 GT are nice because you don’t have to take your eyes off the road or hands off the wheel. Anything more becomes a driving distraction. The two center air vents are not as good looking and not near as functional as the aircraft style vents. The latter style gives one an infinite vectoring of the airflow. The rear taillights don’t look anything like the original mustangs. The best feature of the 2010 is the hood. The suspension differences can be easily and inexpensively remedied in your 07. I am surprised that you couldn’t break the rear tires loose until you came out of a corner...even with the 3:73 gears. But as you stated, this is plenty of car for a 16 year old driver.
Nice car. I have a black 2010 GT. I don’t think automatics we’re available with the track pack though. You could still get the wheels. Track pack had 255/40s
I dont know what I like more : 2005-2009 or the 2010 GT, both look so nice :) Your exhaust is probably louder because your exhaust is older and burned out
That's the first year of new Stang that I really like. Those wheels are awesome looking but yeah, 19 inchers are a bit much. I almost bought a new '87 but went with an IROC-Z instead. Your bro is a lucky dude!
Great car review. So, we're seven years "down the road" since you did this. How did your 16 year old brother do with the car? I have two grown sons, and the thought of either of them getting behind the wheel of a car like that, at the age of 16, is almost terrifying.
+Dsgdrew i just bought a used 2010 premium v6 pony package knowing full well the difference in the hp.. it was just too nice and too good condition to pass up.. and I'm not trying to race anyone. just my day to day driver
Nice review bro & I'm getting an 06 mustang gt automatic I'm 16 like your brother & I don't know how to drive stick tbh. My question is do you think I should get an automatic?
I would buy a manual it is way more fun to drive and it gives you a better feeling of control. Unless if you do a lot of commuting in heavy traffic it may get annoying to constantly have to shift, the manual is the way to go.
Ugh, I miss my 2006 Mustang GT, I traded my car in for a 2015 Ford Focus Titanium. The Dual Clutch auto hasn't had any issues yet, but I will trade back to a mustang once it's paid off. I miss the power and sound of the V8
2011 everyday all day, if this was back in 2011 id be worried about the motor blowing up if you boosted it but now the tuners got these cars locked in. Anything 3v powered is just a waste of money since you can buy better mustangs for the price.
I'm 17 and I would love a coyote buttttttttt I don't think I'll be very consistent with the responsibilities of taking care of one and the financial responsibilities of having one, so there for I might just get me a 2010 gt for now
2010 GT is definitely a good car to learn on, as long as you understand that the car is a little bit unpredictable & can be a handful at times. As long as you drive within your own limits instead of trying to find the car's limits, you'll be fine.
"the V8 makes a little more power so we figured, let's get a real Mustang!" Meanwhile I'm here considering a 2013 V6 Premium xD might not be a "real Mustang" but in my opinion V6's sound better...call me crazy, anyway, congrats!
+MJ4cars97 Haha we all have our own preferences! Nothing wrong with the new V6 in these. It's a great engine and both my brother and myself considered one for a good while.
I'm glad the unreliable Fusion is gone! Are you guys leading your Range Rover? I'm 14 and my parents are thinking about buying a 2014/2015 range rover sport or a used/certified 2013 Range Rover. What do you think we should get? We already have a 2007 Jaguar S-Type which my mom LOVES sooo much. We had a 3 year lease on t at first but my mom didn't like the xf so we are keeping it intil the second gen xf comes to America. But my mom has always loved a Range Rover and she is not sure what to do. Thanks! And I love ur reviews. Can u check out my mini reviews on my channel? My dad gets fords when his company gives him rental cars. Be sure to check it out when you get some free time in your hands. Bye Bro!
+Stephen Pearson I am as well, trust me! I surprisingly don't miss it. As far as your car situation goes, I don't think you could go wrong with a CPO Rover. If it were my money, that's what I'd do, but my parents did choose to lease ours. Thanks for the kind words man!
+bikephil Look dude, I don't know who you think you are, but you are in no place to be making judgements about my brother. He's a young driver and a very good driver and takes far fewer risks than I ever did/do. He drives this car extremely well, which is why we feel comfortable with him driving it. Please, keep comments like this to yourself or you'll find yourself blocked.
That is false. I challenge you to ride in the car with you and see for yourself. But that's not necessary because your approval is not needed, but thanks, though.
bikephil I don't care if this comment is two years old. I just need to let you know that your comment is ignorant as hell. Many teenage drivers are just as responsible as adults are.

My 79 year old dad has this same car. Bought it new and had Shelby wheels put on it. He loves it. They are really nice cars.
Who “hates on this motor”
Absolute tank, only V8 Ford makes that doesn’t develop serious issues.
This is THE mustang to find!
Nice car. Couple of things.

God that's sweet!!! Tell your brother congratulations!!! Love that red
+_ ClassicChrome01 Shall do! I think the red is one of the reasons I have such a soft spot for this car, haha.
+RCGCarReviews haha yeah I'm a red car person if I'm getting a car it has to be red
Your brother was only 16 yet he has a Mustang GT? Your insurance company must love you; friends I know in their early 20s are still paying way overpriced premiums on anything less than 4 doors yet have less than 300hp.
Great down to earth review by a down to earth guy!
you didn't push in the clutch before starting, oh wait...it's an automatic transmission
Laughed too hard at this.
Love the car il be going to look in December and this is one of the cars il be looking at :)
+Kolby Aiena They're worth a look! It's a plenty quick car.
SUCH A GREAT BAD ASS CAR !
Just got my 2010 gt premium same color too but in a 5 speed manual 😏
bought one aug 2017 23,000. mi premium gt package like it alot 2010 gt also a 5 speed , candy red
Robert bernier march 11-19 I’ll be getting a 2010 4.6 GT Premium with the red candy metallic w/ tinted clearcoat. 5 speed of course.
Josue Reyes manual ?
mine is also a 5 speed
same here... 23,000 mile 2010 gt 5sp
dang your brother is really lucky! I'm 16 and got a 04 v6 which I still really love but I would have loved to get a gt
Nothing wrong with a New Edge V6 though! They're great A to B transportation & look pretty good, too.

+MrSleesch13 I'm definitely partial to my 07, but that's not to say this is a bad car.
Love both :)
Have you done a review about a Challenger or Charger with a HEMI? ;)
Nope. Haven't gotten the chance to drive one yet but I'd love to.
Turning into quite the Ford family
+ThinkOutsideTheCube At least it's with Fords that are reliable haha. Wouldn't really buy another new Ford honestly
Sorry that isn't a track pack. Track pack was only available with the 5 speed manual transmission on the 2010 mustang gt.
I almost love it(would've absolutely love it if it had a manual)
That's the first year of new Stang that I really like. Those wheels are awesome looking but yeah, 19 inchers are a bit much. I almost bought a new '87 but went with an IROC-Z instead. Your bro is a lucky dude!
+kwk1 He definitely is! So far he's in love with it.

My 2010 gt idler pulley went bad at 73000 miles other than that I love it
how much is your brothers insurance
I know they have a different intake the 2010s so they have 15 horsepower more Can You Feel the difference compared to the 05 and 09 s
wow that is nice i wish iwas your brother right now lol
Hey if I ever get a mustang can u tell me how to take that fowm Nugget out?
+_ ClassicChrome01 Sure.
+RCGCarReviews thanks!
I always feel sad for the 2010 owners, if they would have waited one more year or known better they could have a car with 100hp more
+Dsgdrew i just bought a used 2010 premium v6 pony package knowing full well the difference in the hp.. it was just too nice and too good condition to pass up.. and I'm not trying to race anyone. just my day to day driver
I feel the same way. I was lucky and got a 2012 before learning the difference.
Clorox Bleach damn I didn't know you where into cars Clorox
mtndewrs2 I hear yeah, but still a nice car. Shelby gt 350 is the way to go nowdays if you have the money. Either way still a nice mustang.
mtnndew NO GIVES A DAMN,AT LEAST THEY HAVE A FORD GT
Is this older model expensive
+JOHNNY CASH. Not too bad. This one was about 19k
+RCGCarReviews My 2012 5.0 was only 2k more with 38k miles
you got a really good deal. 5.0 for 21K with 38K miles
Pharoh Elion it was cheaper because the tires were bad and the wheels had a lot of curb rash
I really want a mustang but can’t find any in my area
The makeup isn't a give away. It's the transmission.
Lol yes
Big oof but i love it lol
beautiful

cool cars man
+Derek Burks Thanks!
Yo im thinking of getting onathese but im not really sure if its decent wit gas
It's pretty terrible on gas to be honest. But so worth it.
Ugh, I miss my 2006 Mustang GT, I traded my car in for a 2015 Ford Focus Titanium. The Dual Clutch auto hasn't had any issues yet, but I will trade back to a mustang once it's paid off. I miss the power and sound of the V8
Can't go wrong with a big V8 under the hood! The focuses are nice, but there's just something about a Mustang.
I LOVE that leather
+RAJohnson713 You & me both!
so I'm in a position to purchase a 2010 or 2011 GT, for about a 3k difference which car?
+Miles Smith Honestly, I'd get the 2010. I know a lot of the 2011 5.0's have some issues with the engines blowing.
+RCGCarReviews lies. 39k miles on my 2011 GT 5.0 and motor still runs strong. Don't get a 2010. You'll regret it. They're slow
+Miles Smith just get 2011-2014 v6 mustang same power has a 2010 gt but lot better gas mileage
I'm not sure buying a Mustang for gas mileage is the right idea, haha
2011 everyday all day, if this was back in 2011 id be worried about the motor blowing up if you boosted it but now the tuners got these cars locked in. Anything 3v powered is just a waste of money since you can buy better mustangs for the price.
How much will this car be in let's say 2018??
gryle9 10k most likely
I paid about 11k after taxes for mine in Oct 2017.
I'm 17 and I would love a coyote buttttttttt I don't think I'll be very consistent with the responsibilities of taking care of one and the financial responsibilities of having one, so there for I might just get me a 2010 gt for now

So do u think that mustang is a sports car?
+_ ClassicChrome01 Much more so than mine.
Congrats to your brother! So when is your dad getting one? :P
+TJC450 No time soon haha. His truck will be around for a pretty good while.
RCGCarReviews how about now
When I saw the thumbnail and title I thought, What? He traded in his 2007 already? Lol
+© Maxxtruck9906 Lol noooo way I'm getting rid of mine. I'd cry if I had to part ways with it.
I have maroon interior on mine
"the V8 makes a little more power so we figured, let's get a real Mustang!" Meanwhile I'm here considering a 2013 V6 Premium xD might not be a "real Mustang" but in my opinion V6's sound better...call me crazy, anyway, congrats!

Noticed that plate said “Temple/Belton” I live in Temple lol
Yep! We bought it at Jackson Bros Ford.
That's a rare interior called Saddle
OMG reid y u do dis 2 mi? haha
bc i h8 u duh
u batch!

I have the same FitBit as u lmao
+jmalibu0326 Hahah Charge HR buddies! Love mine.
+RCGCarReviews it's awesome 👌🏼
1st Theee Speed
+Tommy Bazile Congrats! Have a cookie.
Why wouldn't you get the coyote
+Alex Brick Because no 16 year old needs to be driving a 400hp Mustang, and the 5.0 is more expensive than the 4.6L.
+RCGCarReviews Insurance wise probably
+RCGCarReviews I'm not 16
And we all have our choices
Alex Brick i don't believe he said YOU were 16. you asked a question he answered
^Exactly that.
You keep saying "better than mine", why dont you trade your Mustang that u hate( seen your video on your car) in and get 1 like your brothers!
(Thets nesty 😷)💀💀💀💀💀
Damn your parents are cheating u bro lol JK
+RAJohnson713 Nah. As much as I love his car, I'd still pick mine. Expect to see a comparison video coming up soon :)
Not a premium
Ew automatic. In my personal opinion, there is no point in buying a "sporty" car in auto, just get a civic.
+Zack325Ci Eh. Some people just shouldn't have manuals, and my brother is one of those people haha. Doesn't mean he shouldn't get to enjoy a cool car!
+RCGCarReviews as you get older you find, manuels are fun for about 6 months to a year.. then they just become a pain in the ass imo
I hope he isn't a young driver, or he will wrap this thing around a tree. Automatic?? Nope.
+bikephil Look dude, I don't know who you think you are, but you are in no place to be making judgements about my brother.
