Pretty sure the malware thing with the Thunderobot is (at least at this point in time) a false positive. I got a generic alert from Windows Defender when I first attempted to run their installer, further investigation (with Kaspersky) didn't come up with any issues, so I went ahead. That doesn't prove it's safe of course, but I felt comfortable enough to try it. The software itself actually works very well.
I also think you shouldn't assume bad faith on the part of the manufacturer without further evidence - even if their software did contain malware at some point (I don't know if it did) that could be the result of a third party's attack on the company, rather than their own doing.
The aj199 is solid for the price and worth the gamble imo. I haven’t had any issues with it disconnecting.
I'd like to see AJAZZ address some of the issues I and other reviewers found and then it'd be really an easy recommendation. The shape and feel is great tho
@@UpgradeLemonade In indonesia ajazz aj199 has a rebranded version which is PressPlay Icarus V2, but strangely enough even though it's an OEM, the QC on this brand is better, the mouse I got didn't have a single problem.
Same… mine has been perfect so far, and the skates on mine are fine too. Loving it way more than I expected. I don’t mind the lack of usb extender since I have tons lying around already. I’ve used both the front usb on my case and my viper ultimate dock thus far.

My favorite mouse and I've been a logitech user for most of my life. Started maining the Pulsar V2 just to try something different and now it's in my random pheripheral drawer. no hate, it's the shape isn't for me. may throw some cheap mouse skates on the v2 though just to experiment with the feel of them. never tried glass mouse skates. as for the skates on my aj199, I put some dot jade skates on them. they feel nice
I love the AJ199. It's been one of my favorite mice since I received it. The only issue I had was the skates got beat up after a couple months, but I replaced them and now the mouse is just perfect for me. On top of that I paid $30 for it on Temu.
I think cheap feeling is fair enough considering these are like $60 when most other companies are charging $100. Creaking doesn't bother me if it doesn't happen during normal use. Minor inconveniences are to be expected when cutting costs.
The random disconnects and software being a potential virus though... yikes. That should not be happening on nay mouse no matter how cheap

The malware thing is actually insane 🤯 I’m still tempted to get the AJ199 due to the shape and read it might be good for modding. I also have the VGN Dragonfly F1 on the way. Great point about the future support or even if these will be here down the line
Yeah I mean we've seen others have better luck with the AJ199, I think AJAZZ just needs to tighten QC and work on a few things. It's a very fun mouse and shape
I have base version of F1 Dragonfly. I actually liked this thing so much i ordered the Pro Max. This is the biggest positive suprise for me in years.

ah they reached out to me too and I'm waiting for the preordered stuff to ship, which may take a while. hopefully my experience will be more positive cause some of the shapes do look promising.
I do like how budget mice are progressing albeit seemingly risky with qc 😓 maybe we'll see a contender at this price range in a year or two
Yeah I think with some more time a few of the brands will shine as good options to recommend. Seems like beta testing atm so not something I'd recommend for most ppl. AJAZZ should be able to address those complaints though and then it'd be an absolute banger

Gwolves didn’t provide a receiver/extender with the HTX and said 1k hz is stable enough now that the extender isn’t necessary anymore.
But GWolves gives you the round receiver puck in the box ?
They have the square dongle or the round dongle receiver for 4K and have do extenders for Ace?
So far no problems with the Ajazz Aj199 mouse, I bought new skates for the mice since I heard the stock skates weren't the best. I love the shape and I previously owned a gpro superlight but for me it had sensor issues which broke me. Glad I found a smaller alternative that actually worked nice for my grip style.

the AJ199 has battery saving feature. you only have to scroll or click to reactivate it.

Did u try clicking the mouse while it goes into sleep mode btw? I haven't had any disconnect issue with the ajazz and i just switch it off when i go away ig but what i have heard about the sleep mode is to click the mouse button to activate it. Oh and i have replaced the stock skates with ultraglide skates from AliExpress
Yeah I did, fortunately like I said in the video sleep mode issue didn't happen again after I took it off the dongle.
Ooo thats weird. I got the white one cause it probably has had the least of the qc problems (my on/off switch is a lil off center ig) . One thing i did have little trouble with was getting the charging cable to work properly at first but that went away with a restart. Totally a banger if they just can fix all the issues. That being said they released a new one the aj139 pro i think? I wonder if u will give any reviews of that. 🐥

So glad to see you didn't risk getting hacked for content. The mini gpx comes in the lightest blue I've ever seen and the grips included with it look similar to btl grips.
lol ya wasnt going to risk it with that.... but for AJAZZ honestly if they fix the receiver issue and update the skate design it would be a REALLY nice little package

Tbh my first mid tier by chinese standarts and years ago was cobra reddragon m711 i think, its was pretty good i would have kept it for longer than i did before getting model o wired when hype was on it, but cobra just had very very bad cable stiff and mouse was like 130 grams... But quality was solid
Yeah that's fair, I won't paint a wide brush and say they all fall into this category. For example AJAZZ could fix the few issues I and a few others found and it's be a fantastic mouse to recommend

I had the darmoshark m3 for about a month and a half (i did install blue shell/pink dots and tiger arc skates as soon as i got it) and got the aj199 about 2 weeks ago. I havent has issues with them so far, maybe i will eventually but right now I'm content with them

I bought an F1 Pro Max and it was in great quality. Great quality clicks, no pre or post-travel issues, shell was solid with no creaking. Only small issue I noticed was a slight (and I mean very slight) wobble on my left mouse button, but nothing I really noticed in-game. I haven't tried it with the 4K dongle yet as I still feel like the GPX shape is better for me, so not using the F1 Pro Max as much as I would like.
I've heard good things about the dragon fly f1 pro max, darmoshark m3, and rakk gahum. But I personally use a Ninjutso Sora

Get a usb extension cord and put the end of it in your mouse bungee, and then put the usb dongle in it, easy.

Honestly if you really like the shape of the ML9 it only takes about 10 minutes to setup a VM and download the software there and do all the setup for the mouse you want and then delete Virtual Machine. I've had to do it way to many times for other software before and its so simple to do.
I dont like the mouse enough to do that for my personal use.... but frankly thats a really poor user experience. I couldnt recommend others to do the same. but hey if they want to i guess
Check out the VGN Dragonfly MOBA. Insane mouse for the price. This one might change your opinion on the Chinese mice.

The only thing keeping me from going full on chinese mouse is the software razer and logitech makes life so much easier by switching automaticaly profiles it's a game changer for me not having to switch manualy or worse remap my side buttons every time I switch games

Damn FlawlessTaste , great channel 👌 and ya it's in the plan but it's not available for purchase in local retailers yet. Beyond I think China atm. The one in the video the Neutron(silver) is very silky smooth and incredibly comfortable. But it's also very slow and muddy. So if you want extreme control for using ultra light mouse it can be good

To Wake the AJ199 from sleep, you have to click the mouse button, moving it won't wake it up
ya I tried it all, it uses a standard sleep mode like other mice, clicks should of turned it on :/

Gotta disagree with you on the Aj199, it's been a really solid mouse, I have 40+ mice to reference to. It competes with a handful of mice in the market.

Edifier hecate g3m pro was $60 total shipped for me and its pretty solid

The aj199 does have a weird thing with sleep mode. I had to double click m1 to get it out of sleep myself.
But during play never had a disconnect. So far with the pulsar grip tape. I love the AJ. Great shape!
Shame with the Thunderbolt though. Mouse shape looked dope and with a dongle for $60 is wild.
yeah I think the aj199 is like 1 revision away from being a VERY solid recommendation. I just want to see them take the feedback and update some things and be tighter on QC. (plus them working on it shows the community they are listening and willing to stick around) just atm its a toss up which I dont like giving a green light to
I love the shape of the hts+, and the the AJ199 seems very similar to it except the hump is slightly less prominent.. so i am going to give it a try. It was $28 after tax on ali express, and I will put some core pads on it since the stock feet sound like they are pretty bad.
They aren't really that similar on the sides tbh, and the general shape isn't really similar - the Phylina S450 is a HTS+ clone though
I recently got the Zaopin Z1 Pro and Ajazz AJ199 and I love both, although I am maining the former because that fits me better. Glad to see people are being more open to these niche chinese brands too.
I think with some revisions the AJAZZ could be a real solid contender , but I just like to see a bit more consistency before I recommend a product. It's still early days for these brands tho

Aj199 users, do you feel like the honeycomb shell is not as high as the other shell or is it just me?
Eh, felt about the same to me, just not having honeycombs is alot more noticeable.
But just to confirm for yourself buy yourself a digital caliper. Useful for a whole bunch of things even other then just this.
They are the same, it probably feels lower because your hand can press into the honeycomb

I do not know which world you live in. You sound more like a propaganda and paid you tuber to promote mouse from big companies like Logitech or Razor. I have used mouse both from highest models costing over 100 $ . I can tell you a Chinese mouse costing around 20-30 dollar can easily provide same experience like a 70-80$ mouse from big companies.
China is no more a follower, they have developed their own way of making things better, and are now giving tough competition.!
