Where did this guy find a wife that is so enthusiastic about the money spent on this 4x4 it's not fair to the rest of us? Hes found a unicorn. I'm constantly trying to hide 4x4 upgrade bills for my wife
Really nice start to your build you two and it's looking so good so far! And thanks heaps too for the detail to what you've done so far too! It's the right vehicle too- trust me as we own one and it's so good to do Builds on them and they look and perform so well! Phil
Well done with the final results of the build Simon, Liz, it’s really awesome. Laughed at the young fella couldn’t reach anything, it’s so big. That’s a nice spot at Burpengary just to chill out, in your case nice and handy. Have a great Xmas you guys, I’m heading to NZ for 4 months, don’t know how much data I’ll have, so may get behind in your videos. Cheers Judy
G'day Simon, You got the efficiency calculations wrong when charging the battery. If you look at the charger when it was running it showed 60A @13.8V - you used 12V in the calculation. 990W on the Bluetti - 60A x 12V = 720W (72% efficiency), 60A x 13.8V = 828W (83%). You diddled yourself out of 11%
Cool 4wd, I love how its your money has gone into the 4wd. Iam so sick of Sponsored builds that the content creator just shamelessly plugging the shirt out the products. And want me to believe them.
That looks mint and the colour scheme looks spot on. It is always good getting anew setup. Get another layer of security on it though a secondary setup that stops just having the keys to start it. Towing the van will be a dream.
Absolutely love your build. You made the right call on the coil jmacx kit. I have a 4495 jmacx 79 and absolutely love it. Well done. Can you share a little more on the wrap you guy put on as I’m on the sunny coast and tossing up on opinions for us. Where, how much etc. go and enjoy. You’ll love it.
Great to hear! Thanks. Have a chat with John from Scrubs Car Detailing about different options with wraps as there's quite a few. They do an outstanding job. Mention you saw our video and he'll look after you 👌
the one big drawback of the Bluetti and other similar units - charging via the dc cigarette outlet provided with the Bluetti is almost useless - too slow. A dC2DC charger could solve this but how to do it and how to do it safely?
If I may correct, the 76 is part of the “70 series” BUT the 76 itself is NOT a “series”. There are no other models under the 76, so it is NOT a series. Cheers to your channel.
It needs to be done by an authorised Jmacx installer. McCormack's handled the install, all the paperwork and engineering for us. We then took all the paperwork they gave us to the motor registry, paid the government their bit and it was done. Let me know if you want any more info.
Well Guys, I earlier said why buy a yellow car but its not yellow it looks great how about calling it SANDY. Great Job I like the lack of chrome I like all of actually and it must of been stressful for both of you😢😢John
Just wondering what is the reason travellers as yourselves don't just carry a generator. Seems to be a more economical way if batteries are struggling.
Generators are definitely economical but they're noisy and means carrying fuel, etc. There's also maintenance to consider. There's more and more places you can't use them as well.
You are right track with the Silent Generator from the car. We used our 100Ah system to put around 70Ah into the van. Got us out of trouble. A slightly more efficient way is to use the car 240v for the cooking. We carry a 10A adapter so the van can be plugged in if needed. Well done on the new build. Looks great and one of a kind.
Great to hear. Thanks, Chris. You're spot on, much more efficient to use the Bluetti to take some of the caravan 'loads' to save the caravan batteries.
Wow - an unreal look.
To get a 76 to not look 'run of the mill' is sooo hard.
You have nailed it !
Congratulations.
Thanks, Mark. A lot of thought and planning has gone into it!
That’s looks outstanding. What a credit to both of you to achieve such a stunning new vehicle.
Thanks David!
Where did this guy find a wife that is so enthusiastic about the money spent on this 4x4 it's not fair to the rest of us? Hes found a unicorn. I'm constantly trying to hide 4x4 upgrade bills for my wife
More to the point where does he find the money to do all the upgrades that’s what we want to know 😆
simple fix mate, change the wife.
😆😆 Love it! She's one of a kind! It's taken her 2 years to get there.
Work hard, play hard 😉👌
😂😂
Great to see you 4wd build as it progresses, looking forward to seeing the desalination plant in operation, great video thanks for sharing
Thanks 👍Coming soon!
It looks fantastic and a really good tow vehicle. The glossy look is the go and we love the highlight colour, really cool.
Thank you 🤗
Mirrors are perfect, love this system :-)
Cheers
Looks mint, congrats 👏. U guys nailed it, well done.
Thank you so much 😀
Absolutely brilliant build! Congratulations!!!
Thank you!
Looks so bloody good! Surprised you’re keeping the stock cruiser front seats, heard they’re not great.
Thanks mate. We've heard plenty of people say the same thing, but we don't mind them so far.

Thanks a bunch!
Looks incredible I'm ordering the 2.8l auto, the wrap with the detailing and tint looks classy
Cheers! Be interested to see how the 4 cyl goes!
Great looking car👍
Thanks 👍
Congratulations she looks awesome, great job guys. Enjoy and safe travels. Cheers
Thank you! Will do!
Great job, it looks fantastic!
Thanks so much
Looks great Simon! What are the final weight specs, GVM & GCM?
We'll go through it all in detail in an upcoming video. The GVM is now 3900kg and GCM is 7400kg 👍
You have to be happy with that !!! Looks great…..good team effort !
Thanks, Guy. We're stoked!

Thanks Judy! Have an amazing time in NZ and we'll have plenty of videos for you to catch up on when you get back! 😉👌
A M A Z I N G! Nothing else to say!
Thanks Pete.
Enjoy guys looks mint👍
Thanks mate!
Will be able to keep this vehicle for at lest one million km have mates with this many km good choice and great adventures 😊
Couldn't agree more!
I have 300ah in the car and use that to top up the van when needed. No inverter just straight into the vans Dcdc
That's interesting. I didn't think that would work, the batteries would just equalise?
Well bloody rippa. Bloody cool rig.
Cheers!
Looks amazing
Thanks!
Love the rig mate and your content.... the black door handles are they wrapped, painted or did you buy black handles??
Thanks mate. They're painted.
We can pop up and say Hello - we are at Warner - Northside :-)
This was filmed a couple of weeks ago, we're down in NSW now 👍
How much was the wrap? looks beautiful job.
It's about $10k to do the whole car. It's incredible

Are you sure that's how it works? The battery voltage shows 13.8v but I don't think that's what the charger is putting out?
Cool 4wd, I love how its your money has gone into the 4wd. Iam so sick of Sponsored builds that the content creator just shamelessly plugging the shirt out the products. And want me to believe them.
Thanks mate, much appreciated.
Lets see Paul Allen's truck
Did I miss something?
Yeah. You picked the right vehicle and you did the right stuff to it. The smile said it all when you got back to camp. 😊😊😅
Yes! Thank you!
Well done… A great build, legendary Toyota reliability and looks sensational… It makes my V6 Wildtrak seem positively second rate.
Enjoy it for years…
That looks mint and the colour scheme looks spot on. It is always good getting anew setup. Get another layer of security on it though a secondary setup that stops just having the keys to start it. Towing the van will be a dream.
Thanks and yes, great idea!
Absolutely love your build. You made the right call on the coil jmacx kit. I have a 4495 jmacx 79 and absolutely love it. Well done.

Congratulations on the build.
Thanks so much. Plenty more to come!
Congrats guys...! and it looked even better when we saw it in real life the other weekend...!
Thanks mate!
if ya ran the car for 1hr using the 40 amp dc to dc would that work rather than using a battery to charge a battery ??
the one big drawback of the Bluetti and other similar units - charging via the dc cigarette outlet provided with the Bluetti is almost useless - too slow. A dC2DC charger could solve this but how to do it and how to do it safely?
Yeah you could, but that's a long time to leave the car idling, and you'd only get 40Amps in. This got us 60 amps/hr and it's silent.
@@TheLifestylePioneers The real question here is how to charge the Bluetti whilst driving

I see what you're saying but it's described as a 76 series on the Toyota website, I'm gunna go with that.
👍🏻
Would you guys be able to explain the process/steps of coil conversion pre rego ?
Thanks

Awesome 76 build mate! Suits the family! Greetings from PNG!
Awesome! Thank you!

What an effort, and the worry, so glad its turned out to be your dream car, now go get it dirty......😜
Absolutely! Thanks Bazz
