I just want to say a big THANK YOU… since you said about not being on the telecast we now get to see you at Bathurst on the telecast & also Lowndsey. They haven’t shown Lowndes for a few years at Bathurst & now they are. Good for you for standing up & saying something so that us the viewers get to see everyone. All the best for Sunday
Skaifes win on 05 was my first memory of Bathurst. J Rich pushed him all the way and the iconic Murphy and Ambrose moment. Awesome pod good luck this weekend Scotty😊
Thanks for taking the time and effort into making this pod. I have only been following supercars this year thanks to you guys, and will be supporting Scott in the great race. Gentleman Jim is my pick. And who can go past the lap of the gods.
For me. It's 100% lowndes is my GOAT. I remember sitting there in 2000 I think it was. I was around 7-8 years old and I was sitting there with the TV on watching my first bathurst. Lowndes had the green eyed monster and I just fell in love with it even tho it wasn't the best race for it but I thought it was great. and from then on I went for lowndes no matter what. And that was the time I first started watching supercars and have watched bathurst every year to this day. So glad lowndes is still there having a crack for sure. My favourite moment was also 2006 with lowndesys win. I was in tears for sure. Good luck for bathurst Scotty! I'll be rooting for ya! After lownsdey tho! 😊😉
Elliot Barbour I love you....Jim Richards is THE GOAT. Not just at Bathurst but of all time. And my all time best Bathurst moment is that shot in 2014 when "The Dude" realised he was finally going to win it. You can just see the emotion and the relief and to a degree the disbelief.
Another great pod gentleman always entertaining with a few good laughs as well. Good luck up on the mountain Scotty will be cheering for yourself and Will on from sunny Melbourne 😊
JR is I think very under rated. He was also very fast on the gravel and entered rally's in New Zealand back in the 70's. I work with him for a short while on the Volvo project and he is a fun guy to work with and a very cool customer.
Ok Bathurst trip music - Me and my best mate drove up to the 12hr in his car that had no Bluetooth or AUX. We stopped at some Op Shops and grabbed some CDs but most were crap. We ended up listening to The Vengaboys album about 6 times through. 2 large blokes just bouncing for hours to that. So much fun.
i lost a ton of weight when i quit drinking. have some 2,3 times a yr now & feel great! Congrats, not an easy thing to do, even just as a casual drinker
So with you Lowndes the legend and Luffy with his ridiculous stats. Gotta say I'm impressed with how rossi has done on the mountain also...can't impress enough how awesome your show is..many thanks guys
Glenn Seton is my GOAT that never won. The in car with him was awesome. Such a great guy. Met him several times. The breakdown that robbed him was gut wrenching
My favourite Bathurst moment is more of a vibe. That first time you go as a kid with your dad is just special. Dad and I still watch together and I still feel that vibe until dad says put the phone down but no rest for #EMAadmin lol
great podcast... ive only watched the last couple but its been quite refreshing to not hear the same old BS!... 65$ for a shirt is a bit steep!...ya can get them cheap at vistaprint... with ya custom logo... ya should be able to easy save us some money...and make a coupla $ yaself fav bathurst moment.... the rear window being kicked out!... ...but ill never ever forget "he's hit the fence and gone off the track and into a tree!"... and ya cant forget the BIG balls of the marshalls and clean up crew, tow trucks etc on a hot green track while they all still racing on the limit... legend..gotta be old man Richo!..that dude can steer alright! (probably STILL better than half the supercars field!)... and of course Brock, ..and CLs drive the year Brock died...the ONLY time ive wanted the blue oval to win.... that year, it didnt matter which manufacturer won....everyone just wanted to see CL take it.... go get em Scotty!... 87 FTW!
Glenn Seton has to be an honourable mention. Jason bright in the pirtek falcon was the one that got me into supercars though at 11. My first time at the mountain would be a certain scott pye in s2 2012, first car I seen at speed. Couldn't believe how fast you came up into sultan Park.
Haha that year I remember vividly! My first lap I was shitting myself. The track exceeded my expectations! I think everyone wishes Seto got one! What a legend.
Got my shirts delivered today Boys. Definitely way thicker than the typical influencer merch. Also used your AHULegalfund code for the discounts. Should print the Billy shirt with the logo front and back so when all the boys are at the track, we can work out if the production team blurs the AHU logo for TV. 😅
My favourite bathurst legend is brock or skaife / another great pod i hope you guys get pole fastest n win im going to sandown next year i really hope i get to see you there cheers
I reckon for the live show you do it at a pub on a race weekend like Russell ingal and Paul did at Bathurst... dosent have to be a supercar weekend maybe tcr or something.. and get a couple support category drivers to come on
Conspiracy time - Supercars wait until you release an ep before they announce something big. This time it's the Finals series, which will be very interesting.
as a canadian friend put it... "As soon as ratings begin to dip, insert contrived bullshit!" .. playoffs is CRAP...this ISNT nascar no matter how much supercars wants it to be...
LP's last to first race in 95 is still my all-time favourite. Peter Brock, Larry, Russell, and gentleman Jim are all tied in first for my Goat. Going for Cam for the Win. But would also love to see Scotty and Mostert on the podium! First car out Brock/Wincup. Sorry t8! Bathurst is Christmas to me.. only a few more sleeps 🤗 Start my dream job 3 days later.. cant wait! Good Luck to all the Drivers and Teams!
I bought the flag and was going to put it on Hell corner but it didn't arrive in time which was bloody disappointing considering I ordered it for Scotty's legal fund. Still love the pod guys but ya owe me some signatures
murph, growing up in NZ he was it, showed so many people in NZ that you could go over to australia and get it done. murphs lap of the gods......he made everyone else look like they were stuck in cement, it was almost a second i believe to 2nd? there's no way you'd find a gap like that now days.
This show is what the sports been crying out for years great to see the honest opinions, good luck for Bathurst Scotty
Thanks a lot! And cheers for the support!

I'm showing my age here. My Bathurst legend is George Fury in the turbo Bluebird or Seto in the rain in a turbo Skyline on slicks.
2:13:85 what a lap from 'farmer George"
Greg Murphy winning in the Kmart car,Is my favourite Bathurst memory.
Lap of the Gods .
How did we not think of lap of the gods!
Thanks for taking the time and effort into making this pod. I have only been following supercars this year thanks to you guys, and will be supporting Scott in the great race. Gentleman Jim is my pick. And who can go past the lap of the gods.
Thanks a lot mate! 🙏🏼
Larry perkins. The 92 qualifying was insane. 👍

And not forgetting Bev Brock .
RIP.

Bring in the endurance racing rule of fuel must be completed before any work can be carried out. Everyone behind the line untill fuel completed.
We love this rule and agree it would be great to see in Supercars

Count down is on gentlemen! Can't wait for next weekend!
🙌🏼
Im pretty sure that Jim Richards is the only driver to win in Group c, Group A, Supercars, SuperTourers, Porsche Cup and TCM. Absolute Legend
What a legend!
Glenn Seton is my GOAT that never won. The in car with him was awesome. Such a great guy. Met him several times. The breakdown that robbed him was gut wrenching
The perfect finish for a week in the garage! 🤙🍻
🍻

Love that! Haha gotta keep the page informed!
You guys need to start up a AHU Spotify playlist we can all add too 👍🏻👍🏻
Been watching since 1977, at 6 years old. Chaz and Paul winning is the only time I shed a tear.

Scott The Supercar Schedule Doesn't Clash With The Chicago Street Course Next Year, Hoping To See Some Supercar Guys In The Field
Not sure i can even pick one, Bathurst is just one of those places that can bring out the best in some drivers.
CL winning the year PB passed is a special memory
Yep!
Let’s go! Pye man!
✊🏼
Glenn Seton has to be an honourable mention. Jason bright in the pirtek falcon was the one that got me into supercars though at 11. My first time at the mountain would be a certain scott pye in s2 2012, first car I seen at speed. Couldn't believe how fast you came up into sultan Park.

@apexhuntersunited awesome Scotty. Good luck this weekend.

Legend! Thanks a lot for the support. Haha we want to see you wearing it at a track
It’s the grandest weekend for sport in Australia 😊😊
Sorry to Dissapont, The flags made it way over to NZ 😅
When Grice and Percy ran the turbo's into the ground.
If you could Pick any 2 drivers from the past 5 years to do a pairing for wild car entry who would you pick? Mine is SVG and S-Mac
My favourite bathurst legend is brock or skaife / another great pod i hope you guys get pole fastest n win im going to sandown next year i really hope i get to see you there cheers
I'm with Barbs, Jim Richards is my guy at Bathurst. And in a sneaky second might put Larry Perkins.
Yeh somehow didn’t think of Larry! Couple legends right there
Scott Pye Is Awesome
✊🏼
CL
Murphy 🐐
BX larger is a good drop
I reckon for the live show you do it at a pub on a race weekend like Russell ingal and Paul did at Bathurst... dosent have to be a supercar weekend maybe tcr or something.. and get a couple support category drivers to come on
Mostert win after Morris went in wall then Whincup ran out of fuel last lap...
That was a wild race! Great finish indeed
Larry perkins for me guys
Can’t believe we didn’t think of LP! Legend
For the bend next year need race for the grid back
GOAT? - It’s LP for me.
Love how he always put so much emphasis on that race!
@@apexhuntersunited yep. The rest of the season was testing for Bathurst. Effectively a privateer too… owner, driver, engineer, designer, mechanic.
Conspiracy time - Supercars wait until you release an ep before they announce something big. This time it's the Finals series, which will be very interesting.

I hate to be that guy, but never make your mates feel bad or have a dig for not having a drink Scott. Even if you are just having a joke.
1st out one of the penrite cars
Any 5 litre rubber rod win...rest in piece iron lion
murph, growing up in NZ he was it, showed so many people in NZ that you could go over to australia and get it done.
murphs lap of the gods......he made everyone else look like they were stuck in cement, it was almost a second i believe to 2nd? there's no way you'd find a gap like that now days.
I know the question was aimed at the race but Scotty being the first being crash of the weekend. Not ideal
Wasn't that crash in the Xbox car, wasn't that the crash that brought out the SC that jamie overtook and got penalized for
First one in 💪🏽
You guys are great & all but where is SVG?
Like why have 2/3 of a show?
14 hour time difference is killing it.
@apexhuntersunited No problem. I was just playing & dropping a comment to help you grow. Cheers
What do the bets look like for the AHU flag making the broadcast?
Why does Scott wear two watches?
One is a whoop fitness band.
Compared to team shirts they are actually cheap. Keep up the good work boys. Any news if the Go Fund Me page is needed?
Cheers mate! Haha got a second letter but won’t be stopping us.
