Many thanks for the free, high-quality stream and the great coverage of the whole track. And big thanks to you Aussies for hosting such an iconic race on such an awesome track and continuing the tradition. Greetings from Austria - where there are no kangaroos ;-)
We may have kangaroos. At least you have a free stream of Bathurst 12 hr because we don't. Much like a lot of other sport in our country. It all gets bought out by our shitty excuse for a cable network called Foxtel. So unfortunately unless you pay money to them we can't watch one of the most famous races in the world held in our very own country.
@@AlexWhy-jc5jv Sorry, just being a little pedantic over the use of redundancies. But I can understand the discombobulation of being awake at extremely unusual times and the odd feeling that goes along with it.

Impressive, similar to the 12 hours at Sebring in the US. Except that you have mountains while the track in the US is 100% flat. 😊😊. You need to invite NASCAR to have either a exhibition racing or real racing. Except it could be between 250 and 500 km. miles
Had a bunch of mates in my mancave watching this from 5:45am, great day - plenty of coffee, bacon and eggs plus beers later in the day kept us going. World class event, hopefully it's all in 4K next year, but ideally it will be a camping trip to the Mountain.
The rain really shook things up, because passing looked particularly difficult this year. Still a solid race at a beautiful track, can't think of a bad Bathurst 12h. From the UK. I remember watching a race from Bathurst as a child in the early 60s, the memories have remained with me now in old age. I love the variation in each part of the track. GT is fabulous, the sound and the racing. I look forward in going to watch them at Brands Hatch one of my favourite tracks in the UK. Thank you for a fabulous film.
Let’s give it up for Bathurst Weather! Got a few more laps in darkness than the last few years, beautiful sunrise, sunny morning, then STORM, the weather put on a great show.
First time watching one of these from start to finish, up at 5:30am on a Sunday morning wasn’t planned but just happened, and loved it, definitely doing it again
As a proud flaggie on 1.3 it was a great one especially to review the highlights afterwards. Awesome to match up what was going on when on comms as we only get to hear a lot of whats happening and see only a small window. Pretty impressive work by many to bring it all off for another year. 500 this weekend makes this a fantastic round trip for us all. Respect to all that support and spectate hard ;)

I feel like throughout The race the invitational class cars managed to become like the most important side character in a movie with how many accidents, spins and traffic jams they caused lol.
They were massively restricted, with the inv class not aloud to go quicker than a 2:06 and throughout the week having different restrictors put in before the throttle body going from 100mm to 75 then 70 then 62 then 54mm, and limited rpm to 7200 and Cambers max 4deg, the mustangs were 15 kph quicker than the front runners down conrod and the main game guys were blowing up during practice they couldn't pass them, the orange mustang got taken out twice in the race by the same merc causing massive mechanical repairs,,
