pmsl,, sorry Will, but as someone who has done some work at your house, yep i know who wears the pants around there lol... if you need a good kennel though, let me know. 🤣
Great stuff guys. Dave and Garth are my fave drivers so far but Larry was the favorite in the early days. Craig and Will, you have such funny experience to recall, it's like a Curly and Mo skit. Love your work gentlemen. Have a great time in the cars and safe travels to all. There's gotta be another Bathurst win between you surely. Best of luck.
I know I may sound ungrateful but could we possibly have longer podcasts😅? Very enjoyable but it feels as though the topic is changed too quickly and hardly get a conversation, cheers
i love these. nice to see the old boys network of skaife moving on from being the GM roadblock in skippycars. you've got to let other chefs in the kitchen to spread the load. now if we can get rid of the blue vs red nonsense, the series might feel like its in the 21st century.
I'm glad that Toyota is coming into the V8 Supercars series but I've 2 first reaction comments on the look of the car. 1) it looks like the batmobile, 2)it makes the yank tank supercars look good, still I'm more of a retrograde man than visionary and by the time it makes its debut it may have grown on me. I do love Toyota and the gazoo racing story.
Time certainty is horrible let the race go for another 20 minutes for one day of the year. This better not effect bathurst by starting the race later. And having safety cars run WAYYYY TOOO LONNNG
Sandown is essentially in the middle of Melbourne, you can't have car racing at 7pm on a Sunday night. Mt Panorama is in the middle of nowhere, no such issues
If I'm not mistaken Honda will not be one to bite on this. As David mentioned Toyota will use the NASCAR engine. Which is a push-rod configuration. if so that is the reason why. They said they don't want to develop one for NASCAR so Supercars would be a no-go as well
With FCY for Bathurst the speed under FCY needs to be 100 and FCY is changed to Safety Car when all cars are under control and clean up of the accident has commenced. All cars remain speed limited to 100 and the safety car is at 75 / 80 until all cars are in a single line behind the safety car
I do remember the mini and valiant pacer the old hg or ht monaro i can't remember what model ford was racing those cars were dangerous compared to our new cars you didn't want to suffer from motion sickness because they.moved all over the place not the best handling cars
I do remember it was dark when they started and very late in the day when they finished the race probably took many hours longer to do the same distance i do vaguely remember when it was in miles and theh raced bikes there on a different weekend my grandfather took me back in 1964 or 5 i was really young and spent more time watching the idiot bikies fighting with each other riding over tents with people asleep in them early i understand why there was thousands of cops then they stopped it what a shame that a few idiots spoilt it for the majority of people i can't remember what year they stopped it but i remember it was Easter
Sorry guys but I like the main drivers having to start. Wildcards being able to do what Lowdnes and Cooper did is ok as well. What it did do was make the main game drivers work a little more in that first stint and it also opened up alternative stints for the co driver. I don't buy the argument that it closed off strategy options when everybody was going to do the same thing anyway to start the race if co drivers started.
I'll give credit where credit is due. Well done supercars this is a good unfiltered podcast. Reminds me of a modern version of V8 Super Stars
This was a nostalgic pod. I can't imagine in 20 years thinking back to todays racing
Your best podcast Yet. Nice work Gentlemen
This is gold. Love these driver pods.
Coolest podcast this is what fans want👍🏾
That genuinely was fantastic, more of these 4 please!
As if you guys didn't mention SVG as one of the top 5 drivers of all time, he is a an absolute lock.
Same as tander. the 84 DJ crash was my first real memory of the race. I was 7 also 😂

Dont understand why races finish so late in the day, lately. Start the races an hour earlier, and lets see all 161 laps(Sandown, etc....).
Great podcast guys. Yes I’d agree with others, the best one yet. Lots of stories between those four.Bring them back after Bathurst.
That was an awesome podcast…SC needs to do a better job in pushing that to their fan base.
Sandown should go to co-driver and main driver sprint races Saturday and longer both driver race on Sunday...
That would take the strategy out of it and practice for driver changes though, but it would still be cool.
They did it back in the day but idk why they dropped it after 2019, they should bring it back
It doesn't get better than this guys

Love you Lowndsey!!!!!!!!
Yeah, loved it, Try not to talk over each other so much, we miss so much gold!

Awesome podcast fellas!!!
The DJ XE is also my first memory of the mountain.
Cool cast new discovery
FCY limiter and PL limiter might help with dash lights...
Question for Dave. Will you and Caruso being back below the bonnet???
Love it 👍👏
14:50 Toyota topic for anyone interested in hearing the drivers thoughts.
We need more please with some OGs like skaife, Greg Murphy and Ambrose

bathurst has no time certainty, could run into the dark if it had to

U can blame the stupid counsel morons for having a stupid curfew in place. Not exactly Supercars fault
Good luck Mustangs at the mountain
Yo Garth is hilarious 😂
Shotgun! Hope it's better than Raygun?
BMW could share with Toyota run GT3 engine Z4 body...

Awesome show. But not a fan of Toyota Supra. Looks like it dont belong in V8SC. Would have preferred Dodge.
Chaz wins the best hair 🦚🤯🦄
