Yes the designs a lot of better and not standards as nimbus. But nimbus comfier

Cumulus 24 is currently my favourite shoe. It's the perfect cushioning for me... not too soft and not too firm. I love it. Hope the 25 doesn't become too soft

This shoe is gorgeous.
At 37.5/29.5 stack of Blast+ and 9.4 oz., this would have been a max stack shoe just a few years ago. This looks really great because I'd like something under 10 oz. and the Blast+ has such a nice balance of cushion and responsiveness.
If these have better step in comfort than the Novablast, they're on my shortlist.
this could be my marathon shoe... :)

Trying to find a comparo vid tween the Cumulus 25 and Nimbus 24.
Worried that they added too much stack height. I go to the novablast for bouncy runs with insane energy return and I'm hoping that this year's cumulus remains the versatile do it all that it always has been.
I fell in love with the Cumulus from the 23 version, wore out a GTX version of it, used it in rainy winter runs on the track until it wore out, amazing grip, but the sole did hardened up quite fast in cold winter days especially with my weight (heavy weightlifter/sprint trainer).
But these with the Blast midsoles would be different, a fan of the blast using a couple of Novablast2s and a 3 for sprint training.
Can't wait for the Cumulus 25 GTX.

hello i have a question i brought some cumulus 24s they were really comfortable however i felt like my foot was falling / rolling to the outside. supernation/ over supination. i feel like this is because the shoe midsole is really soft and as i walk even worse on carpet my ankle just feels like its rolling outwards and im having to try hard to stop it. i have really weak ankles and poor balance anyway. i have a pair of nike huaraches which dont do this but are uncomfortable i wanted to buy some acics but not sure which to go for ? have you herd of this before and can you give me any advice on it? thanks

Expected more from the 25 b/c it has more ffblast, but like my Glideride 3's over the 25. The 25 is good, the Glideride 3 great. The Glideride 3 upper has a better fit too. Asics please keep the Glideride series going.
I found the GR 3 nylon plate a bit firm.

How does this foam compare to LightStrike Pro? Does it squish in or is it firm?
If you are looking for a superfoam from ASICS that will directly compete with LightStike Pro from adidas you will want to take a look at ASICS offerings that FlyteFoam Turbo (Metaspeed series). Blast+ foam is ASICS high rebound daily training foam. A more direct comparison from adidas would be standard lightstrike, but I find Blast+ feels quite a bit softer underfoot. -Connor
Would be nice if stack height info was mentioned and weight.
We have a photo sample of the Cumulus 25 in the building and measured a preliminary stack height of 38mm-30mm, about 3 mm less than the Nimbus 25. Men's size 9 is also weighing in at 9.2oz. We wont have final measurements until the production version arrives in April. -Connor

What’s the stack and what’s it meant for? Race? Speed workouts? How does it compare to the Nimbus?

But Nimbus is also the daily trainer? Why choose one over the other then?
@@LofotenDoc there can be multiple daily trainers from a brand. They will have different profiles, flexibility, weight etc which changes the ride. Since the Nimbus 25 is rockered, very cushioned and heavy, Cumulus would be the more nimble alternative.

The shaping and updates really really reminds me of the nimbus lite 1 like the stable base and midsole geometry. Excited about these hopefully it’s under 10oz in a sample size and has a 10mm drop or lower. I would also love if this had a flexible forefoot unlike the nimbus. Don’t get me wrong I loved the nimbus lite 1. As someone who work in a running shoe store it’s ridiculous how many shoes look the same visually and ride feel. It seems like everyone things massive stack hight , stiff
Midsoles and knit uppers are the way to go. I just want someone to make something different….. like ON is taking the speed board away and gonna be higher stack hight soon and asics now 2. It’s been hard to fit people that have lower arch’s and pronates and need stability when there really nothing left in the market for low to moderate cushion stability shoes or even neutral shoes….
Fully agree. I understand the need for revolution, too bad it looks like devastation of the old design. Remove the badge and guess "what shoes do I wear today"?

For me, a runner who rolls the feet from heels to toes, I'm glad there is still a space for Gel. This why I liked the Nimbus (and forefoot strikers didn't give it much justice).
Anyway, does a lower stack Cumulus feel a bit like old Nimbus?

Crazy how the Kinvara 14 seemingly has more stack height than the new Cumulus. I'm sure the C25 will be softer but its thin forefoot looks like it'll bottom out over distances more than the Kinvara.
Kinvara 14 stack is 31/27, Cumulus 25 stack is 37.5/29.5.
Just wanted to let Asics know that they fucked up on gel quantum 360.bring back the old good knit shoes of 360, with no FF foam and true gel 360.
this year, nimbus 25 is better than cumulus . more stable more dynamic, for running and day walk
So you've directly run in both the Cumulus 25 and Nimbus 25?
Is it breathable or more breathable? The nimbus 25 is certainly not and the cumulus 24 wasn’t exactly the greatest either.

Need to invent change to sell shoes. It'll probably all be minimalist low stacks in another 5-7 years
