I’ve never been a fan of Asics, but they’re doing some great things recently! For daily running I cannot recommend the Glideride 3 enough. Give it a try, if you ever get the chance. Cheers!
I tried them on , it has a nice wide base, the midsole is flared, more stable. My only concern is the midsole, I have Novablast 2, the midsole feels flat after 6 or 7 km in the run, I am not a heavy weight! It is a nice cushion shoes for short runs, walking or work. 26 is firmer than 25, more like PoweRun Plus Saucony. 👍🏻🏃🏽♂️
As said in the last video comments, I'm not as big a fan of this as the novablast 3 and have concerns over longevity. Out of interest, how do you think this differs to the Triumph 21?
Surprised that Andy didn't compare the Nimbus 25 with the Nike Invincible. IMHO, the Invincible wins being the bouncier option due to the zoom x. The Nimbus 25 while very cushy lacks the response of the Invincible. I have them both anyway..😂

Hi there, I am a big (see obese) guy, trying to change my bad habits and going for regular, daily walks. I can manage 2-3k per day but my feet, heels and knees are taking a beating. I have lost a lot of weight, but I am still a long way to go. What shoes do you think would be optimal for me? I was thinking these or the hoka bondi. The normal Nike sneakers I have I feel are just for show. Thanks!
Sometimes I have this sticky feeling at my heels when running with these shoes. The shoes arent sticky, but it sometimes feels that way. What is this or is it normal? It doesnt happen all the time, which makes it even more strange. Thanks for an answer anyone.

I think this is lighter… I haven’t tried the nimbus but I’ve been told this is a bit lighter. It’s still a wider platform shoe but it’s quite nimble to be fair! I really rate it 👍

But if I may, why are you talking in terms of zones and not paces when describing what this shoe is good at? I would assume that it is the pace that relates to how the shoe "operates", as opposed to a person's cardio fitness? I mean your "zone 2" (4min/Km pace, or 6:30min/mile!) would be most viewers zone 4 (or 5 even) for anything above 5K! I imagine this channel is not primarily addressed to competitive/elite runners? Or am I missing something?
Sorry, I’ve had a fair few comments coming in daily and it’s tough to keep up with them all. Appreciate your comment… I talk based on “effort” because that’s how I train. I train to effort and not pace, if I went out one day and ran 6:30 per mile and then did the same once again in the same week, then repeated this twice a week… not all of them will feel good depending on circumstances. My moderate zone 2 runs range anywhere from high 6:40s per mile down to low 6:30s depending on how I feel. I’d never advise training to any other metric than your own bodies effort 👏 And no. There’s no showing off here, I’d be a fool to do that when there are so many incredibly fast runners out there that are far better than me

As an owner (and now fan) of the Asics Gel Cumulus 25 Blue/Orange, it is an insane shoe for avid runners, absolute must buy.

Usually when people compare 2 great shoes they make it seem like your only option is picking 1 but I always just buy both as well.

TBF to ASICS they have been the only running shoes that properly fit me in a size 14.
This vs Kayano 30? Cumulus is similar to Nimbus. Kaynao is harder/more stable.

Ive found on most people these lace up kind of narrow. Not sure how they fit you if you have a wide foot 🤔
Yes. If you have a slightly wide foot you definitely need to buy wide. They are slightly narrow. Wide would fit nicely.
