- The ASICS Novablast 3 returns in 2022 and continues to provide a soft, highly cushioned expierence with a bouncy and efficient ride. Now featuring full length Blast+ and a lighter upper, the Novablast sheds off nearly an ounce of weight and provides an even peppier underfoot experience.

Asics 2022, goddamn. Could not have imagine this brand being so good 5 years ago. It was a dad shoe brand!
It was so out to date in 2019, now its pretty much the best brand out there. Traditional trainers, modern trainers, lightweight trainers, insane racers

Asics has definitely shed that dad brand image and reinvented themselves as far as I'm concerned. Their overall line up is modern, inventive, comprehensive, and quality.

Freakin loved the v1 so much I bought a 2nd pair to ensure I had a spare out of the box when my first wore out - didn’t know it would take 400+kms before that would happen! Am super excited for v3. I’ve been telling anyone who’ll listen about the Novablast line. I’ve done better splits, longer distances all without injury. It’s the only trainer that doesn’t leave me with fatigued legs for the rest of the day. The energy saving you get from the max cushioning is THAT good.
Will it go down as the best daily trainer in history. Probably

Recently put Novoblast 3 on preorder. Novoblast 2 is currently my favorite daily trainer. With the lighter weight I am considering this shoe for the October Long Beach Marathon. Love the ASICS Novoblast line.

I wish the NB 2 had more cushion in the the forefoot. After some mileage the cushion isn't as noticeable.
Got rid of my Invincible run , this will be its replacement.
Will be replacing my beloved Novablast 1 with this one 👌

Whats crazy is Im starting to think my novablast 2 are getting more comfy the more I wear them. Bought mine last august
I bought one pair of Novablast 2's silvery/pink, on 30 percent discount, and they could be the best shoes for the money one could buy, than I went and bought another Novablast 2' this time Platinum again on discount.
So, cost/performance wise, it was a wise hunt for me.
Best looking version for sure.

The midsole geometry especially at the mid foot seems to be more stable than the 2, which for me was pretty much the only weakness.
That and the upper. I kinda felt there was just too much going on at the top. The tongue, the back part... Just too much material. This seems to be a huge improvement as well in NB3. If they fix these small details, it will be hands down the best shoe you can have.
That black colorway is really nice. I like barely seeing the asics logo.

Hello guys! I bought a pair of Novablast 3. They fit super well and size is perfect (43.5). I just got a problem, after some days I saw on the box that I bought the woman version (I am a male). Do you think that there may be some differences with the male version?
In need of help from serious runners. I pronate a lot and picked up the Novablast version 2. LOVED the soft and trampoline feel but my inner knees started hurting pretty good while running in them. Did 12 miles in 4 runs in them to break them in and test out and even tried an insert but my knees felt sore after all four runs. However I ran my fastest times in the Novablast. I’m a car guy and I’m not sure how to express this other than when I started to sprint these shoes just felt like they had torque and wanted to go fast. That felt amazing.
I really want to get the 3’s as i love the look but am worried they don’t have the support I need. Would love some real world advice from someone who knows more than me on this subject. I was fitted for the Hoka Arahi 6 wide shoe but the Novablast 3 TR looks like everything I want in a shoe. Especially if it has the speed. I obviously just need more support for my pronation than the 2.
Any advise would be GREATLY Appreciated as I’m trying to re-enlist and want to take my running to the next level.
Not a tremendous runner by any means, but a fellow severe pronater. Asics Kayano is unbeatable for comfortable stability, though there energy return isn't as good as Novas. Maybe try a Kayano Lite?
I went with that Ahari 6 for tempo/distance and the Novablast 3 for fast timed runs and couldn’t be happier. The kayano just felt too dead and the Ahari feels like a glove.
I tried the Novablast 2 and while those hurt my knees the 3’s have been nothing but amazing. Literally improves my fast run times and seem to have more support.
Very happy with both choices as they have vastly improved my running game.

Nike pretty much only cares about racing shoes like the AlphaFly and VaporFly. I feel like they've totally let the other brands destroy them on daily trainers, a lot of people are giving up on the new pegasus models

I’m 32 and been running about a year, my current limit in new balance rebel v2’s is 25 min/ 5k, and if I really push it 30min/ 6k. Getting Covid a few months back really knocked my progress.
I know I’m not fast enough for carbon plates but can anyone advise if these would be suitable for someone like me? I hope My new balances have plenty of life left but I have the running shoe addiction...thanks if anyone can help
I think they are definintely suitable for your situation. They are daily trainers and good for all types of paces. And if your only running with one pair i would recommend you to get a new pair anyways, always good to have different shoes in the rotation.

Anyone else have big problems with the heel collar rubbing your achilies? I has to cut the back of my shoe down with a knife. Is this model the same upper?
From what I have read, the achilies issue was with the NB1, corrected in NB2. Ive owned NB1 and NB2 and had no problems with either - I prefer the NB1 to NB2. Planning to give the NB3 a chance when they go on sale. By then, my Rebel V2s should have about 550 miles on them.
@@WePiphany yeah i only have the NB2 never tried the ones but the heel coller just goes too high on the back for me. i cut it off with a knife and sowed it back together and now it seems to work okay

Yep, the rubbing made a hole in my heel - disappointing really. At the time V1 was so different to anything else out there, early runs were so enjoyable until the pop quickly disappeared.
@@FenboyTim I was lucky to take v1 and v2 to 620+ miles. V1 was FAST but gave toes blisters. V2 was slow but no blisters. Will try v3 in Sept. For slow runs, I’d do v2 again, it I miss the spring and long distance PRs I got in v1.

Hey Jim, I can confirm that this is not the case. The Novablast series has not been discontinued and as a fan favorite, the franchise will continue to live and innovate into the future. -Connor

That color way is so nice but not available… not available on the normal market. Just saw it on ebay for 850€. Not cool. Why ASICS is struggling so hard to release a more minimal color combination like in the first line up. (Black and volt-green combo) that looked cool when the ASICS logo is in the same color as the background.

Mine and my wifes fell apart (1st gen) (upper mid separation , outsole and mid separation) after a few months. How are yours holding up? My experience was very disappointing for the price.

Nike is overpriced junk. All made cheaply in Vietnam or China. You can keep your Nike. I got fed up with them breaking and falling apart after a year. So switched to Asics. Built like tanks indeed.
