    Had the same issue with my xc70 and same engine.
    Power to the dpf pressure sensor, lines free with no leaks. New sensor and still no reading from the dpf pressure sensor.
    Can only guess its been mapped out.

    Hi Jimmy
    I have a similar fault with my Xc70
    I've cleaned the dpf and egr,
    I'm getting codes
    Pressure Sensor Particulate Trap.ECM-2A10
    EGR Position Sensor. Faulty Signal
    ECM -44B0
    What could it be?

    any tips I'm on with sorting out a 09 1.6 v50 with only 69k I've been told it had a DPF warning before and it had a new preshor sensor pipe and a regen the warning soon came back and they ran it until it gave up the DPF is completely blocked I've ordered a new one but I need to figure out the reason it got so bad the DPF temp sensor is showing 99.9 and the pressure is 0.0 no matter what I do and I've given the additive tank a tap and it sounds empty

      I'd test the hoses for leaks with smoke tester.
      Test there is power to the sensor. Test the sensor by pushing pressure into it while reading live data.

      @@ORileysAutos cheers for replying I'd allrede had a look at that side of it the pressure sensor was 0.0 I put the new DPF on it started perfect the DPF temp sensor kicked in and the pressure jumped to 20 and stuck there even when not running fitted a new one getting good live data now the additive tank seems to be the root of the problem it's still 1/4 full but it doesn't want to speak to the scanner

    How does that DPF cleaner work? Do you just pump it in through the pressure sensor pipes, leave it to soak then run the engine? Mine is blocked and it won't regenerate as I think it is too far gone and I can't get it off the car without an angle grinder as the nuts are completely rusted up!

      What's happening when you try to regen it

      @@ORileysAutos I'm using the Volvo VIDA software and it says 'start conditions not fulfilled' which I think is because I have a second fault code 'DPF Faulty Sugnal' in addition to the normal 'DPF Full'.

    • @ORileysAutos
      @ORileysAutos  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@timothyduggan2263 you'd need to check the dpf differential pressure sensor is working

    • @timothyduggan2263
      @timothyduggan2263 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ORileysAutos Thanks I'll check that. I was getting some movement on live data so assumed it was OK, but I'll do a more thorough test. Thanks for the advice.

    Why not use the DPF cleaner instead of revive given you were running it though the dpf anyway?

    • @ORileysAutos
      @ORileysAutos  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I've had better success rates with revive

    Was going to ask!! I know you'll know. DPF differential pressure sensor for the D5 engine in an V70, is it accessible , I may as well change this before DPF as it won't passively regenerate

    Must be a pain in ass to put his car back together then have to go away and get the parts then strip it again. All time out of your day.
