    Great to see you checking all three pins for voltage and not just throwing parts at it. Awesome 👍👍

    nicely sorted out jimmy
    we have a 2010 xc90 and they are beautiful cars when they are working well, but you do need the money to keep up the maintenance on them..

    Fantastic Video mate. Got myself a 2012 D5 gone into Limp. Got a TopDon dongle and it was reading fine @ around 10hpa at Idle up to around 80 under load then it showed as...get this.....65 thousand 500 and 35hpa, then today, it's Zero and will barely go so safely going to assume sensor too. I'm thankful for your vid as i thought I'd need to get under the car and dismantle the exhaust. :D Unless it's different on 2012 D5?? :O

    Professor O'Rileys, have you EVER received any bonus pay for any of your more than expected repairs? Have you ever got any extra pay for any unusual achievements? When was that? How much did you get?
    My experience is even if I deliver 10 times more than expected or solve the problem in 1/10 of the time expected, I only really seldom get anything for it at all. They like that I can walk on water, but not as much as they want to pay any extra for it.

    Is the cleaner fluid going in to the dpf when you put it in the presurre sensor? Is it the way to do it because i have the same car and a dpf cleaner liquid and i dont know where to put it in the dpf

    Very decent of Bennett’s to bring a replacement sensor out so quickly

    I have a 2006 XC90 D5 with 210,000 miles on the clock now. I intend keeping it till it goes very much BER (beyond economical repair).

    Hi Jimmy great videos, would you please give me a little advice, I have a 2007 xc90 d5 with dpf issues going into limp mode with door filter full on dash only when I give it some beans, I’ve scanned with Vida and looked at live data and the dpf pressure sensor is reading at idle 13hpa and at 4000rpm 132hpa, do these look out to you, if so would the sensor be to blame many thanks.

    • @ORileysAutos
      @ORileysAutos  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes a bit high

    • @ryanevans8033
      @ryanevans8033 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ORileysAutos thanks for the reply very much appreciated, later on I took it for a drive with the live data running and the dpf pressure sensor was reading 600hpa, does that mean the sensor is knackered or is it reading that high because the dpf may be blocked but apparently there’s only 2g of soot in there?

    The engine mounts are knackered on that car we need replacing the engine has far too much movement. I work on quite a few Volvo

      I cant remember who said it, but, NEW means “Never Ever Worked” until proven otherwise. What a numpty, changing a part without testing its actually working.. Great job Jimmy, that knocking can drive anyone crazy and i bet hes been quoted 1000s to fix it, great job 💪👍🏻👏👏👏

    Hi ,
    What kind of sensor did you install? original by Volvo or by the manufacturer ?
    Thanks

    • @aleemcummins2893
      @aleemcummins2893 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It was a DPF pressure sensor Jimmy fitted for me in this video. A non Volvo one from Bennetts. I can add the details here later if you like

    • @DDMMihai
      @DDMMihai ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for the help, I thought that only the original one from Volvo could be installed. good to know . 🙂

      It was a Beckermann DPF Sensor. The one that failed was also a Beckermann that was fitted 13 months ago. Better luck this time
