@SunstreaKerPriME - we should all collectively be upset with anything less than 6-years of software updates. I have said this many times before, and I'm gonna say it again. Phone with the size of 5.8" to 6.1" are GOLDEN (assuming thin bezel so I use screen size as an implication for overall size). It fits in your hand, your pocket, and you can easily use with 1 hand. That's how phones are by definition. Anything bigger than that, you'll actually have a "mini" tab, or a multitasking device instead of a true PHONE. I don't mind them making thick small phones to have some extra battery life. It is just the aesthetic and marketing competition that promote the idea that smartphones are an elegant accessory that has to be elegant in design. All thin and shinny. But I think for the majority of users, we care for the practicality of it more. Just make them easy to hold, durable and long lasting to use, and we will appreciate them.

Didn't realize that this was coming out! Good coverage of this phone and them still keeping in line with producing a mostly solid "smaller" sized one which isn't really being made by many manufacturers nowadays with great specs (I'd say 5.9 inches was at one point in the past not really viewed as being that small, but given the sizes of flagship phones nowadays it makes sense).
I am personally disappointed though with Asus also unfortunately committing to just two years' worth of major Android version updates, and also their lack of proper availability in some countries it seems (in this case here in PH, it's not easy to find a store, even from Asus themselves, that offers this phone somehow when I was interested in their previous Zenfone 9). Had this been pre-pandemic I probably wouldn't have minded as much, but if even the likes of Oppo are claiming that this 2023 that they'll offer 4 years of major updates for their customized versions of Android, and Samsung's newer midrange phones are to be on track to have four major Android version updates (compared to three), there's less of an excuse for Asus to not do the same.
