    • @KarrasBastomi
      @KarrasBastomi ปีที่แล้ว +3

      One thing that surprises me is they use different sensor. 6a and 5a photos is good because of the Googles know how of the old sensor and they can exploit to the root. If there's different sensor they need to tune differently.

    • @xyz6106
      @xyz6106 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      One of the reason is that the 6A (which I bought) is using the tried and tested camera that was being used since the Pixel 4 series. maybe even longer don't know. But the 7A is a completely new sensor not even present in the 7 or 7 pro. So I do belive that it is only a matter of software optimisation to get this upto the quality.

    • @YounesLayachi

      It will definitely improve a little bit with updates but never reach the same level as the multigenerational sensors on other pixel phones

      @@karlivanantonio3922 True. There are few problems with 6a's which made me order 7a.It'll be delivered on the 15th.
      The main reason why i purchased 7a, is because of network disconnection i faced in 6a.
      Usually people who don't use it for long calls, never noticed it. But it is there. It is there in all 6a's, double confirmed with other 6a users in my locality.

Only disadvantage is slow fingerptint scanner and very bad support in European countries - in my country the phone is not officially sold so the 5G does not work + there are problems with VoLte and calling. What I dont really get about 7a is why Google did not cut wireless charging, underdisplay scanner and RAM size to put price lower and make those 2 phones more different form each other. This business strategy is weird.

    Just a heads up if you’re reading this during memorial day weekend the pixel 7 is on sale at Best Buy for $499 and the 7a for $449.

  • @Bare_Essence
    @Bare_Essence 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Yeah, both do go on sale. Only the 7a is $150 off and the 7 a $50 off. So now (4/15) the difference on sale is $200. Does that make a difference? $350/$550 @Amazon. 7 Pro is $600.
    $350 for 8GB/128GB Android 13 and many years of updates seems like a very good price ... now!

    I have a pixel 7 pro and I tried buying wireless chargers to use on my desk and at work, but I found the heat generated from them just made charging unbearably slow and then the screen would auto dim when I picked it up because it was trying to cool off. I ended up just switching back to wired charging 🤷‍♀️

    • @Mr_Battlefield
      @Mr_Battlefield ปีที่แล้ว

      Which wireless chargers did you buy? Maybe that was the issue. I own two different wireless chargers and both are great at charging.
      Also even if you charge via wired the battery will still heat up if the phone is charging at a fast charge. For me most times I'm charging when I'm sleeping or get home from work but most of the time I'm charging while I'm sleeping and I've never felt it over heat even when I've picked up my Pixel 7 Pro in the middle of the night.

    • @ccow11

      Mine gets toasty quick when using lightroom, obviously this can be a power hungry task, but I'll even take my phone out of its case preemptively to try to allow it to cool more, and then inevitably it'll dim the screen making editing a pain. All of this is further exacerbated by any charging, but wireless charging is significantly worse

    If the camera hardware is the same , cpu is the same, but the photo/video results are different, it can only mean that the A series is not longer a good camera option at its price range, because you wouldn’t want a product that is intentionally soft capped.

    • @Mr_Battlefield

      The factors are camera sensors and camera lenses that would affect image quality when taking a picture. I'm most certain it's related to cheaper hardware not software limiting.

    can't agree with the white balance argument.
    the photos, (around the wooden construction) as seen on my 42" TV, look way better on the 7a. yes, darker areas, but with much more details where the 7 looks totally washed out.
    looks like the 7a was HDR or OLED vs a cheap TN when comparing the two. look at the wood grain and the details you see... also the more vibrant green in the background.
    the 7 looks overexposed imo.
    I like the higher contrast tbh
