I mean in the souls series, if we include bloodborne, "Gehrman joins the hunt" is iconic and one of the best but nothing can beat Gael's lines,"Hand it over that thing,you dark soul" and "Ahhh,is this blood,the blood of a dark soul".But that's just me.

If I recall correctly, when he uses.....whatever he puts into his rifle, he "parries" you even if you do nothing

2. The hunters dream served it’s purpose so by killing him you’re also freeing him from the dream
3. In the umbilical cord ending you kill the moon presence that created the dream and tethered gehrman to it and become a great one. Probably the best ending. You end the night, free gehrman, kill the moon presence, and become a great one.

True, but to truly die in the bloodborne world, you have to accept your death. That's why when you submit you wake up, and if he kills you. Well you come back to the nightmare. You're refusing to die and that's why you keep coming back.

Gherman and Lady Maria gotta be one of my favorite bosses from Bloodborne. Hunter vs Hunter, memorable OST and overall very fun fight. Not too challenging but not too easy either. Perfectly balanced

the first time i got to second phase, i remember the music and choir swelled and right at its peak he jumped in the air and sliced with his scythe, i just sat there and took it... the game legit stunned me
Easily the best boss I've ever fought in any video game. He has a fair moveset, but is still reasonably difficult. He does what a final boss of any game should do. He tests your ability and knowledge on the mechanics of the game. Players who have adapted well to the mechanics of bloodborne shouldn't struggle that much with him. For those who haven't, he forces you to (I fucking hate this term but I guess it's appropriate here) "git gud" and will kick your ass until you do.
For those few in the comments complaining about how parrying trivializes this fight, which to be fair, it kinda does. The game isn't forcing you to parry him. If you don't like it, don't do it, simple as. Don't then moan about the peoole in this video not parrying him to death just because they chose not to exploit a mechanic that is notorious for making bosses a joke. Parrying is there for the people who want to use it, you aren't being forced to do so.
Also, his soundtrack is fucking orgasmic and the arena you fight him in is amazing!
Now the dlc, where are the best bosses! :)

For me, it was the other way around. Got wrecked a thousand times by Orphan but Gehrman was a joke to me.

The first time I played this game I had no fucking clue about anything about lore and I was "oh, a hunter boss, cool" and also I didn't pay any attention to the ost. The second run I payed attention to the lore and read a lot and listened the ost and maaaan. This is game is truly beautiful
This fight only took me 3 tries but it perfectly used the games fighting mechanics, felt fair, and rewarded you for mastering the combat. I really felt like I got good
Would've been cool if after Gerhman kills you in the boss fight he reset to neutral and would give the player a chance to talk to him again amd accept death or restart the fight with a free hit.

This boss was amazing and challenging. I beat him on my first try, but I used 20 blood vials, and like, 35 silver bullets. It was tiring, and took me around 5 minutes (or more) to fight him

Juutas, Brickly and Christopher have tried to parry before. Juutas used it exclusively against Maria. I guess Gehrman was just too intense.
But dont forget that Gehraman's Blunderbuss can instantly put you in the riposte state automatically.
Scythe-Master Inc. It is his blunderbuss guns special ammo red arrow like that does that, otherwise it shoots normal bullets. Plus I learnt somewhat parry him when he uses his Burial blade as small sword state.
