Glad I wasn't the only one that saw them. That would drive me crazy. Build some sliders and weld them to the frame. Those would rip right off on the trails we run. Nice looking truck man.
The nuts and bolts on your mounting brackets need to be turned around so the extra threads aren't seen that's why the bolt head is flat for a clean look I did the same thing the first time I put mine on and switched them around when I color matched all the accessories. Do a little bit of dent and paint repair and it'll be super clean
I'm going Friday to look and and possibly buy a 96 k1500 and I can't wait seeing how these look jacked up makes me more excited cause I'm definitely lifting it one day. Here's to hoping everything goes well on Friday n I come home with the truck 🤞
Them steps do look good buddy... They are pretty much exactly the same as my N-FAB steps... What size is that main bar? The main bar that tucks up to body? 3”-4” maybe? I do have to give a hard time about them carriage bolts though... You better get them turned around so the are less visible... Maybe paint the black first? Or can you find ones that are already black? That’s what’s up! Paint them black and flip them over! Truck is looking good though buddy! On the way from Northern Cali... (You would fit in just fine up here with your pick up) THANKS, BIG D
Chance Colwell- Does it matter? The amount of girls he has probably hooked up with because of his truck is totally justified in spending every penny so far!
How much lift and what size tires. Trying to figure out how tall mine is. I'm sas with 9" and 40x15.50s. Trying to figure out how tall it is from 600miles away. Lol
thats a beautiful truck man....I picked up a 98 gmc z it came with a 3 or 4 inch ( not sure ) body lift...any tips on basic stuff like connections etc that need to be done after a body lift ? like does the gas tank fill tube need extending ? seems like my truck has more fuel in it than the fuel gauge reads and when I put gas in it I have to be careful cuz it won't take as much as the fuel gauge reads.....other stuff like steering extension etc....bought this truck to pull a boat and haul deer out, don't know much about stuff that needs tweaking after a body lift and don't wanna keep driving it if something is bound up thanks
Nice build man. I’m building a 99 Tahoe and got the rubber for the wheel well from rubber the right way .com also get you some grade 8 bolts a inch shorter and flip them around lol other than that your truck is dope!
I been looking online for a 1-2 inch body lift (for several reasons) for my 89... but all I see is 3 inch body 🤔 Is there not any smaller than 3” available ??
That side step and bumper lights would not fly here in Ohio or many other places around here. The bumper is whatever caz it's easy to replace. But with the step you have drilled through a piece that is not easily replaceable and you can never really fix it properly. Now it will rust out and start damaging your floor pan. I would have got one that mounts to the frame and modified it to fit how I wanted it. I'm not trying to bash what you got. It looks good and maybe works good where you are. I just want to warn people that live in the world of rusty trucks. Lol
The tips look good man just keabe em i do t like it when ppl tick them way up in to whwre u cant hardly see them bc in my opinion they look good on a truck so y make them hard to see they look good the way they are man love the truck man🤙
Evan Gilbert rough country spacers and i cut a lot so i’m not rubbin body or bumper anymore but i rub frame right at full crank. 12 wides on 14.50 tires and 2” spacers
Which spindles are you running? How did you get your camber straight like that? I’m running 6in lift with 3 in body on a 94k1500 and can’t get more camber for the life of me. Any suggestions would be great..
They look real good but I would never trust them rc steps the way they mount . That’s gonna cause more damage then good in the long run they should 1000% be bolted to the chassis some how
I do like those steps from rough country I think I'm going to get rid of my Nerf bars by some of those!! Might as well I got rough country everything else 🤣
I like how your just parked in the middle of the road lol
You got to love the Country
What road??
Holy fook I got a 97 turd brown still fixing mine up already got $15k in it gotta love these old trucks love yours bud
I ditched the granpa nerf steps on my OBS Suburban years ago for a set of N-Fabs like yours. Way better in form and function. Your's looks great.
I love the steps but 1 thing please turn the bolts around that hold them on
u kno haha trust me bro i tried but they wouldnt grab for me
Cut them off and paint them black but very nice build man
I had the Same thought👍🏻😜
Glad I wasn't the only one that saw them. That would drive me crazy. Build some sliders and weld them to the frame. Those would rip right off on the trails we run. Nice looking truck man.

Thats a badass truck bro. Done tastefully and nothing overboard. Well done 👏
Your truck came a long way. I saw ur last video a week ago. From. This video to now. Woe. Looks great
I know its been a while, but how did you get your tow hitch to sit up so nice and high?Mine sits really low with the body lift.
I'm going Friday to look and and possibly buy a 96 k1500 and I can't wait seeing how these look jacked up makes me more excited cause I'm definitely lifting it one day. Here's to hoping everything goes well on Friday n I come home with the truck 🤞
Did you get it?
Love how far this truck has came
I’d reverse the bolts on the steps so they are hidden.. just my opinion.. nice truck bud!
Cool CK pickup! I do not have nerf bars because if you cant jump or climb, you don't roll hard in the gmc! Survival
You should flip them bolts around on the pinch weld
Was thinking samething driving me crazy
Need a link for the steps. They look good
Run the bolts from bottom up or cut the excess off... looks good
Hey can you make a video showing the trimming you did in the front.
I like the Whole Running Board's That, Way you have Balance.
nice looking truck, can you post a link for the rough country step you used? i cant seem to find it. i have an obs extended cab 4x4 chevy
I looked and couldn't find them either
Love the steps.. can’t find any for my 99 suburban. 😔 also love the truck.
You sure turn the bolts around on those step bars.. I love the way the 3in tips look
Nice truck man. Pipes look fine angled down. They're high enough off the ground, lol.
Them steps do look good buddy... They are pretty much exactly the same as my N-FAB steps... What size is that main bar? The main bar that tucks up to body? 3”-4” maybe?

THANKS,

Are those the same steps rough Country said for only for a regular cab? Don’t see one for a ext cab. Those are the best looking steps I ever seen.
That’s bad ass Silverado man lifting mine hopefully summer
Nice truck man! How big is that body lift
How did you get your hitch back up tight to the bumper
You can install a 93 suburban/tahoe tow hitch an it will sit flush with the bumper. That what I did to my 90 k1500 single cab.
@@theblack_6.033 that’s exactly what I ended up doing
I like your truck how much do you have in it
Chance Colwell-
Does it matter? The amount of girls he has probably hooked up with because of his truck is totally justified in spending every penny so far!
@@Chicosfinest420 maybe he wants an estimate so he knows how much to save up
John Myers- true! But hopefully it’s to get some tail...
@@Chicosfinest420 that's the ultimate goal of building any vehicle
@@Chicosfinest420 lmao are you ok?
How much power loss did you experience with the lift and larger tires
Total lift? Suspension, body, add a leaf in rear, and tire size. Looking to compare a 6” with a 3” body on my 05 1500
How did you lift the rear bumper ?
What is that rubber piece called on LMC Truck for the rear wheel well?
How much lift and what size tires. Trying to figure out how tall mine is. I'm sas with 9" and 40x15.50s. Trying to figure out how tall it is from 600miles away. Lol
A nice build. Thanks for sharing.

I can’t find those steps on rough country and in trying to get those lol
Need to trim and paint the hardware that mounted the steps
What are those side steps!
no tow hooks u willl come to reget that if you actually use your truck- unless its all sjhow no go...
cool truck dude !😉
Nice build man. I’m building a 99 Tahoe and got the rubber for the wheel well from rubber the right way .com also get you some grade 8 bolts a inch shorter and flip them around lol other than that your truck is dope!
Clean truck could stand to be leaning a little but I like it 🤙🇺🇸
Any link to the nerr bars cant seam to find em
I can't find those steps on their website only the ones for single cabs do you have a link?
I been looking online for a 1-2 inch body lift (for several reasons) for my 89... but all I see is 3 inch body 🤔
Is there not any smaller than 3” available ??
Hey so are those steps actually for a reg cab truck? The Rough country regular cab wheel to wheel style?
Thanks
BIG D
Did you also install wheel spacers for the rear and if you did what size?
Number one thing to do after installing a body lift:
Remove the body lift.
LMFAOOOOO😂
I wished they would fit my 98' RC tells me they don't have any to fit
Did you relocate the receiver hitch?
What lift size and tires
Where’d you snag the taillights and the strips at?
Just got a body lift and have been trying to find these steps but I guess they stopped making them, anyone recommend some that look similar
What’s the name of the diamond plate bed rails and where are they from
What do you use to clean your truck
Hey bud , I’m tryna find those step rails you got on your truck on rough country and can’t find them do you perhaps have the item # for them ?

What wheel spacers are those
Hey do you have a part number for those steps
What tire size ??? Can’t decide what I want on mine I love your set up , also what wheels size
Outdoors Life they’re 40x14.50’s on 22x12’s
What’s your overall lift height from suspension and body?
About 10" here
Nice truck, what spacers are you running and how much are you rubbing at full turn?
Evan Gilbert rough country spacers and i cut a lot so i’m not rubbin body or bumper anymore but i rub frame right at full crank. 12 wides on 14.50 tires and 2” spacers

Get some camber bolt.
They are slider steps???
What size lift and tire and rims and spacer you have
The MLG God 6” suspension, 3” body, 40’s, and 2” spacers
Hey you know colin judah
Love the truck!! I'm about to lift my 98 4X4 any tips on what lift kit to get along with good body lift brand???
Don’t get a body lift
Do full suspension and stay away from rough country. Cheap spacers lifts ain’t worth it
That is such a good design by rough country
Those steps looked good man
Love your vids
One of the cleanest trucks on TH-cam
Looks good 🤘🏻🤘🏻👍🏻

Hey bro I seen on your tag your from rankin ms if from Kosciusko we should film a video together
I just bought a gmc truck similar to this.. is there anything I should look into before getting it lifted
You might wanna look at your bank account first but full send bud
James Rushing I mean it’s just a truck I bought for work and wanna lift it a little bit I have the money to play around with
James Rushing I guess what I meant was do you think an old farm truck with little rust can still be lifted 🤣
Just know your gonna have to do something with your exhaust
First must after body lift. Throw body lift away.
OMG loving it
Looks sick
Take the light bar off
The I wish it was a squarebody truck
David Firth honestly I’d take this over a square body all day.

👍very nice
Hey man love the truck. I just did a new exhaust setup that I don't think anyone has ever done before you should check my latest upload
Those are not "musts"! Wait? Am I speaking to Mississippi?
You do not do a cheap ass body lift on a "show truck". Offroad with the 40's at once!!!!!!
I know you're on an empty road but someone could be driving and up to not good would smash into your truck and your underneath
I don't live too far from you lol
Nice. Want to lift mine.
The only thing I see actually practical is those steps. Everything else is just look at me shit.
Rough country is cheap af
How did you. Get the hitch to stay up with the bumper ??
