bro just a quick tip, try making the video a bit more lively, you were too monotone and sound depressed, you know all the stuff you need for a nice review, the only issue i found was that its sort of boring to listen to someone who doesnt actually sound excited about the review they are doing, specially for something that you seem to like a lot (just a bit of constructive criticism) hope i get to see your videos in the future :) keep at it and youll definitely improve a vast amount. GL!!
People hate this style of review, but I honestly like it. There's too many of the same type of reviews, this is really straightforward and to the point with what you want to hear. No corny gimmicks here.
Just some constructive criticism here. I know your reviewing the car and you need to point of the negatives, but I think you pointed out too many. You really didn't say too much positive things about the car and it felt like you were just trying to point out the bad things. If your going to point out a negative at least come back and say something positive about the car especially when you got the owner sitting right next to you.
the touchiness you guys mentioned as a result of a rough launch. what's happening is you don't let that clutch out correctly which causes the car to jerk and even though you think you're giving get constant throttle pressure because you're keeping your foot in one spot, what's happening is the car is literally pressing itself into your foot with each jerk. as far as the review itself I appreciate the critical analysis, but I think you're a bit too serious as others have said. remember that you're in a sports car and that you're out to have a good time, that's why do this!
I think having more power doesn't upset the balance for canyon cruising. I'm on flex fuel with about 370hp at the crank on stock suspension and wheels with 225 Pilot Super Sports. The thing is SCs for this car don't have ridiculous amount of torque on the lower end of the RPM range. I can corner hard and accelerate full throttle out of a corner with full confidence. Like what was said in the review, the PSS have such a liner grip feel. You always know when you are going to hit the limits of grip because you can feel exactly when the limit is going to hit.
Bumper popping out might be because your intercooler's charge pipe is rubbing against the bumper (pushing the bumper cover out of place). If such is the case, the pipes coating will rub off....the piping is aluminum so it's not as resistant to abrasion compared to steel. Check and make sure you're not rubbing. I had this issue with my Jackson Racing Supercharger. Got it resolved by getting a smaller windshield washer reservoir which allowed for the pipes to be pushed farther in. The bumper cover profile of the BRZ is different compared to the FRS. FRS allows for more clearance.
I've got a brz with borla uel header, invidia catless front pipe, and invidia q300 catback. Its around 180 to the wheels and I feel like it's the perfect amount of power for this car.
+Sti4IyF yeah all the stock dyno runs were never over 165hp. This guy's car is 280hp at the crank which is 260hp to the wheels. that's 100hp more than stock which is what the JR supercharger gives you on 91
Can you supercharge an automatic brz/frs/gt86 because I really love this car and I feel that this car is lacking in power I want around 300whp. Also I don't know how to drive manual yet and since I live in Miami I don't think it'll be a good idea to go with the Manuel because of traffic.
I used to work off of 75 and Arapaho. I drove/rode in from Lewisville. Traffic is terrible. I do like driving in my FR-S though. The clutch and shifter are both really easy to use.
Zygrene cool, you're right my question was worded strange. I was just wondering if you had any track time. Happy to know you do, now i feel more comfortable taking any notes on handling n feel from your reviews. Cheers, best wishes to your show.
awesome video nice to see someone who lives close. great work. you have my subscription would like to have your support as well. keep up the good work. I'm looking forward to catching up on your channel..
What a weird review. How the f#$^ How is this a test drive?OMG!! it's like having a race horse galloping around the supermarket isles.. seriously!!! Don't you have better roads? A review 30-55mph is ridiculous. First thing i bought was new wheels and tires and wouldn't need a supercharger for that road. Why would anyone give you a turbo charged car to do a review around the same area? lol... this is like someone already said, disrespectful to the owner. And in my opinion , disrespectful to the supercharger.
Every time I hear "Prius tires," my head explodes. Do these fools even bother to look at them? My '14 BRZ has W-rated Michelen Primacy tires. I stopped the video. 'Bye.
+Ethanmeister yup, like 30 minutes from me we just had an accident on I-540 where 132 cars piled up out of nowhere. 3 of my friends FR-S's and BRZ's were totaled in it. Then two weeks later an airplane landed on the shoulder of the same highway, never know whats gonna happen driving in NC
Andrew Andrade yeah but do they come in hard top? The chassis on a convertible is inherently compromised. It has to be made unbalanced just to make it stiff enough to handle not having a proper roof.
@@Robnoxious77 it was designed with that in mind. When ppl say convertibles are bad it's mainly due to the fact they come from cars designed with a roof. Like the 240sx for example

Mr. Cool...

just realized how good the smoking tire one takes are lol

Thanks for the input, I will keep that in mind
+Zygrene you were being mean while driving HIS car. Cmon man

You guys did a great job on this review! We had so much fun wrapping this beast.
+BAÜS Designs Great job on the wrap, it looks stunning in person. If you work on any other fun cars, please refer them to my channel!
+Zygrene Absolutely

why skinny ass 225?
TNBposse Because I can't afford real wheels. lol

I wonder why the owner didn’t punch 🤜 this guy...
Just noticed that the front bumper cover is popping out!
If you change the headers you get rid of that fluttering. i had the same thing happen
stock brzs have good mpg. does supercharging it effect the gas mileage? if so by how much?
Giosue Iglesias yes of course you will get less mpg after you boost it, by how much? I have no idea.
I would throw you right the F out of my modded FRS lol
Sound like a mustang owner reviewing a 4 banger that'd smoke his v8
the e85 frs you drove didn't have the partial throttle problem correct so its got to be the carb tune that uses the maf
I've got a brz with borla uel header, invidia catless front pipe, and invidia q300 catback. Its around 180 to the wheels and I feel like it's the perfect amount of power for this car.
+Sti4IyF I don't think so, cause stock dyno tests are around 165hp to the wheels

+WHENZLUNCH What type of dyno and what altitude?
Does the forced induction make the engine run hotter when just cruising?
4:54 owners reaction why did I agree to do this??
If you still need a re tune lmk, just send over data logs...
Gonna be heading up there today!
so boring
how low are the springs.. back and front? anyone know
there was no problem with the s2000. Just the high price tag
Why supercharge a car if you arent going to push it to the limit?
San Jose! Sweet car👌🏼🔥
Its 280 wheel hp not at the crank
I think you mean WHP not crank
no, this is crank. 280whp is much faster than this. It's a carb legal tune, they usually make 250ish to the wheels.
@@Primitivegarage915 you don't lose that little of hp to the wheels this car is around 280 whp I have the jrsc as well you divide the whp by .80
Podcast? Tf i cant hear the car lol

The manual is super easy. I live in Dallas, TX and we have horrendous traffic. But yes, you can supercharge an automatic.
It is all terrible. I even ride my bike in it.
I used to work off of 75 and Arapaho. I drove/rode in from Lewisville. Traffic is terrible. I do like driving in my FR-S though. The clutch and shifter are both really easy to use.
What kind of race history do you have ?
+Benjamin Kham Race history? None. I've done several autocross events and track days but that's about it.
Zygrene cool, you're right my question was worded strange. I was just wondering if you had any track time. Happy to know you do, now i feel more comfortable taking any notes on handling n feel from your reviews. Cheers, best wishes to your show.
This is well over 280 he has to divide .80 by his whp
awesome video nice to see someone who lives close. great work. you have my subscription would like to have your support as well. keep up the good work. I'm looking forward to catching up on your channel..
Usually like your reviews. This one was just bad. Not sure what you were aiming at.🤷🏽♂️
Is it enough power to drift?
Yes. Especially in manual you can really make any RWD drift with a locking diff
Wooooooow...
not one chuckle was ever heard
What a weird review. How the f#$^

this guy drives slow as fuck!
your too harsh on his car man
How so? That's what it was built for lol, if it breaks in the process then it was going to happen near in the future due to not being properly built
We're on a different page lol I think he critized it too much
#GoRocketBunnyNow
Every time I hear "Prius tires," my head explodes. Do these fools even bother to look at them? My '14 BRZ has W-rated Michelen Primacy tires. I stopped the video. 'Bye.
They refer to the rims the tires are mounted to.... they are prius rims
how does this guy have 21K subscribers? worst review of a brz ever. take that car out on a track, and properly drive it.
Regarding the RCE Tarmac 2's.
forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2706088
id rather have the s2000
Same
y are they supercharging them y not twin turbo charge them
No point in going twin turbo when a centrifugal supercharger will give you everything want out of a forced induction setup.
why
+Ethanmeister Everything besides low end power.
Yeah but less power
+Spencer Mason power isn't everything...
Twin turbos setups are clunky and heavy. Won't fit too well in the chassis. That and heat.
boi!! thats a turbo wtf... not a supercharger
What makes you think that?
This is a centrifugal supercharger. Not a turbo.
It's too similar to thesmokintires. It bores the viewers.
California drivers? What's wrong with them?
+Stark It's a stereotype that Californians are bad drivers
+Zygrene Bro you should (shouldn't) come to NC. The drivers here will blow your mind.

They've been driven too hard these you can get for a much better price.
Not even POV. Cool car bad video.
sorry dude all the money and effort this car suck ass, take it to the Dragstrip show us what she runs.
this car isnt designed for a drag strip.
