@Jesiah Jakob thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site on google and Im trying it out now. I see it takes quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
anyone have any idea what john mentions around 3min 20 about the "abacois" and the 6/8 feel he says he has been doing work on with denilo perez. some sort of feel maybe?

Abacua is a Cuban rhythm. Is played over the congas originally. The Lincoln Goines book for afrocuban may be of help
