Margaret, don't tell the camera you or your family's traveling schedule. It is NOT safe! (Retired police officer) I still work full time in the "industry" with first hand knowledge of criminals and their crimes. That's all I can say online. We all love you/your family and want the best for you.

Margaret I absolutely agree with you in terms of what you’ve been talking about you ask for a job to be done. You should expect to be done for what you paid. I have a recently been through the same experience whereby my insurance broker went ahead and added a policy to my life insurance without my say so without my written consent and I lost quite a bit of money however, I stocked my guns I kept calling and now I’m getting my money back. You have to stand up for your rights as I’ve noticed you’ll always do Margaret. You’re a trooper, God bless you always❤ PS Margaret you are my inspiration never stop. One time I couldn’t find my phone so I activated the find my phone from my Fitbit and it makes this really loud horrible noise. I heard the noise everywhere I went. I went out in the garage, it was loud, spare room still just as loud, living room just as loud…..it was in my back pocket.😮

Hugs are a necessity with my extended family. Also whether we are together in person or talking on the phone, telling each other that we love each other is very important. My dad and his remaining brother and sisters are all getting well on in years. My mom passed away shortly before Thanksgiving this past year. So staying in touch often is so nice for all of us. Happy for you, Mike and Nikki that things are heading in the right direction. Keep on top of that whole "check is in the mail" situation. Any large job we contract is either half down with remainder when the work is finished or full payment after work is done. Blessings to you all.
I can totally relate to putting the phone down and not being able to find it. In today's world there's too much craziness going on, distracting us, which I believe is part of the problem. Part of my 'stress' problem is YT messing with my channel, and not giving me straight answers. Looking forward to the day your new space project starts! Hoping all goes smooth for you!

My coffee suddenly tastes like grease scraped off the bottom of a cowboy's boot.
I cannot smell any essential oil my diffuser is happily spewing out into the air (currently using peppermint, spearmint, and/or wintergreen in all combinations or alone).
I have discovered heatless curls made by wrapping long hair around smaller versions of pool noodles and am trying to work up the courage to fail at yet one more thing.
I am pretty indestructible at my age and something akin to a boho hippy, a Gypsy, and an unidentified Yeti/Sasquatch forest dweller in desperate need of a bath and serious grooming.
My potato chip addiction has gotten out of hand, to say the least. Death by potato chips will certainly be the cause.
I am craving cookies, which I NEVER eat. Pregnancy is impossible with a hysterectomy and no partner. There are other methods, but I'm 4 years older than dirt.
My hair was thinning, but seems to be returning in a silver/white shade and not a mousie brown. It's also appearing in various other places I wasn't aware of before. (Probable Sasquatch ancestry.)
My eyesight is blurry except for bedtime when it seems much clearer, however, I'm too sleepy to care and can't keep them open by then anyway. Perhaps I've seen too much.
I must have already taken my afternoon nap because I feel too perky.

We just had similar experience with a contractor last week. Thankfully after husband called n asked why no show, no phone call, text or email; that it showed unprofessionalism. Apologies were given n had someone here by Saturday. It could've been way longer but I was appreciative of the quick response by the people that initially set it up n making it right.

I would be happy to live in a basement studio apartment (as long as it had an exit itself) to be able to live near my grandchildren on the opposite side of the country. Not possible now. 😔

I don't know what it is with trades people these days. They promise to come, you wait in for them and they don't show! Not even a text to say they cant come. I would much rather they were honest and say they are rushed off their feet and cannot come for a month rather than have them keep breaking appointments. It took me over 6 months trying different roofing companies to even come out to give me a quote! I'm currently waiting for a plasterer to get back to me as we had a pipe burst upstairs that brought part of the ceiling down. My husband said this old house is trying to kill him 🙂

I was just talking to two "older" ladies in the grocery store the other day (one lady is 95 and still lives alone and the other one is her daughter-n-law), and we got to talking about it being hard to find trustworthy folks to do "odd jobs" etc. I hope the landscaper comes tomorrow for his sake LOL 😅 PS I left my water bottle in its carrier hanging in a public restroom and when I realized I had left it I went back to get it and it was gone. It was a $20 bottle and $10 carrier = $30. UGH! At least I didn't leave my purse hanging in there too. LOL

Your space looks so much better and even cozy! Just my opinion, though, but if you are "babysitting" the little one daily, I would certainly expect that you would be having dinner every night at the table above stairs!
My choice to make sure they have family time. Their time together is so limited with working.

Well my sister went to get gas last week,she went in the station and gave them $25.00 to pay for the gas and she came back out and got in car and left, she never got her gas. I guess we all are loosing it.

Hello Margaret! You're looking good!! As you say I'm done, I think...I know you'll tell the landscape (thief) guy Monday is it. If not.. you know me I'd say I want a refund within 6 hours if not am filing a police report & BBB. They don't care about the bureau as many just change their business name & that's not tracked. I know from 1 of my son's experience ( being ripped off).
I'm on my high horse aren't I?? I think the modular place is just bad customer service. The squeaky wheel will finally get them.
Why do things have to be so difficult 😢? Well we're still here so it's a good day. My car's in the shop & praying on that.

Landscapers seem to be the worst as far as being flaky then I would say plumbers are next. At least in my experience, although, I’ve never paid anybody upfront. I recently had a handyman guy come do a whole bunch of work in my house new light fixtures, exhaust fan, door lock, all kinds of other little minor things and he was great. He had done work for three other people that I know, been great every time, he was great with me. He went over to my friends to give her an estimate. He said he’d send her the estimate the next day. Nothing, she waited a few days texted him. He said oh I got distracted, and he would send the estimate by Friday, that was a week ago and nothing has happened. How can he do good work for four people and then turn into a flake like that I don’t understand it. I swear I’m gonna give up ever recommending anybody to anyone because they always turn into a flake, they’re good one time, and then that’s it.
It really is a craps shoot!
