This is a really different Bomberman game but it had such cool multiplayer.
Such simpler times. I remember my mom renting this for me from Blockbuster. Loved waking up early just to play this.

In my small city you could even rent a Nintendo 64 for $20 a day. I was poor so I had no choice. I saved up all my money from mowing lawns and rented the console and Wave Race 64. I had a blast.

This game is an overlooked gem of the N64 area. It's amazing how lovingly crafted everything is, and the music is still great!

That intro is still fresh af and the graphics still look great tbh, a little dated but there's a heavy emphasis on Japanese charm in each pixel. I can feel the hype I felt as a child when I loaded this up for the first time swelling in me right now. Quickly followed by soul crushing agony as the game was way too complex for my smooth brain. Ahh sweet nostalgia.
I thought these were the best graphics of all time on the N64.. I remember my mother surprised me and my sisters with game.. It's truly a remarkable game..
Edited: I was a 11 year old boy... This game confused the hell out of me and I never beat it cause of the difficulty..
Getting mega flashbacks to when I was 9ish. Very good memories. Couldn't beat it without gameshark but the Sirius twist was truly satisfying as a kid

Damn, Rainbow Palace looks like perhaps the most infurating stage I've ever seen in an N64 game. Glad I never got that far as a child.
I made it there, and yeah, it took hours just to deal with one area. Even trying to mimic the online video guides ended up with me getting wedged in between my own staircases. The bomb jumping in the game truly was hair-pulling.

I got it on Christmas Day in 1997 via a scavenger hunt, along with the console. Probably my most memorable Christmas ever! I did a similar thing last year with my kids for their gifts. Thank you parents for being so loving, enginuitive and thoughtful!

Damn....I was 11 when I played this game. OMG, the nostalgia slapped me so hard, especially for the Artemis fight. This game was so underrated. The best Bomberman I ever played. Games like this don't get made anymore.

The Final Boss music sounds pretty intense

Holy cow I played this one when I was very young, I know because I liked it SO MUCH but I couldnt remember it was on N64! Wow... it brings back so many memories of my dad and grampa taking me to the store and rent games, then going to the bar... ❤
This game is a puzzle i never got far because i didn´t get all the mechanics. Need to find this and finally play through.
I had no idea there was an alternate ending. Let alone a whole sixth area with bosses. Amazing. Thanks for the fond memories! This was definitely a comfort game.

got this game for Christmas with my shiny new N64...the clerk at the store told my grandfather to buy this instead of Mario 64 for some reason! But still, that means this was the first 3d game I ever played, and I loved it so much that I played it to death for months.
Probably because it's better than mario 64 imo. Has a better soundtrack, has multiplayer, has better combat, but graphics aren't as good and game isn't as long.

I like the laggy explosions
and how Red Bomber tripped and when a laser hit near Blue Bomber, it knocked him into somewhere else.
When the explosion pillars went off, Red Bomber was just glitching..

I just randomly remembered after all these years that I could never beat this game as a kid. So I’m here to watch to see how it’s done 😄😅
This game had so many good repayable boss battles. Loved this game. Red Mountain: Stage 4 was my favourite. I used to like throwing a big bomb on its head, when it was doing the eye lazers as it would daze it, then you could kick a bomb in the body hatch and watch it explode.
Green Stage has the most memorable song of all the game

Such an amazing intro. And 4 of those characters turn out to be big characters. Blue and Black bad guy, flying guy, and Bomberman.

I remember I had this game as a child when I was around 5 or 6? And then it disappeared and I was so unhappy. Looked for it everywhere.
And then years later when I was about 12 or 13, I asked for a Nintendo64 and Bomberman but got Bomberman Hero instead 🤦🏻♂️
Bomberman Hero was nice too, I created new nostalgic memories with that game!

Its funny on fridays as a kid me and my friend used to rent n64 games from blockbuster and we used to argue about renting this game all the time lol. Never played it, nice to see a longplay of it though. I do remember playing i think it was a multiplayer based one though where you rode giant rabbits and other minigames.

I knew that I played this game around when I was ten years old but I don't remember what the gameplay was like. It's so nostalgic seeing this now. I can't believe that I beat this game at that age. That and starfox in my closet. I impress myself because I'm sure that my gaming prowess isn't what it used to be.

as a kid i've never had the obsession to gather every single piece of gold medal and i finished the game but i didnt got the true ending and guess what,after all these years i just saw this video and scroll it to the last boss waiting to witness again the same moment i did witnessed as a kid and my jaw dropped when i notice that this is the true ending xD

I never beat the game when i was younger since I didn't know what the hell I was doing but I'll let you know I did play the multiplayer into the ground with my brother's!

Plot synopsis:
-Sirius, in possession of the Omni Cube, is incredibly powerful. It's unclear what he does with this power, but he seems to be a bit of a dick and likely abuses it.
-Altair, Regulus, Orion, and Artemis steal the Omni Cube. Unfortunately they are no better than Sirius; perhaps even worse. They use its power to invade other planets.
-Altair and his gang set their sights on Bomberman's world and begin their assault. (Motive? They seem to be able to suck the "energy" out of the planets they conquer)
-Sirius doesn't give a f about Bomberman's world, but he enlists Bomberman's help in repelling the invasion in hopes of taking down Altair and reclaiming the Omni Cube.
-It works. At the moment of Altair's defeat, Sirius takes the Cube and kills Altair. He then reveals to Bomberman that reclaiming his power was his only concern. He then decides he'll destroy Bomberman's world on a whim (dick move but okay).
-Bomberman confronts Sirius. Mid-fight, Regulus arrives and destroys the Omni Cube. Now weakened, Sirius is no match for both Bomberman and Regulus and is ultimately destroyed.
-Regulus drops Bomberman off. Despite their brief team-up, he reminds Bomberman that the two of them are still enemies and they will one day settle the score (Bomberman did kill his leader and all of his comrades after all). Even still, Regulus tells Bomberman to take care of himself and departs.

Id love to play this on Nintendo switch , Always loved getting to the monsters and never beating except maybe the fish guy because I got lucky pumping balls into the water. but i looooved multiplayer with friends.

I used to have this game I could never beat stages because I couldn’t figure the use of certain obstacles but the multiplayer was the best and comical
i love the game when is first come out lol
There was a level in the game where you had to ride a Llama or something and I could never figure out how to get past it
I was scrolling through this entire playthrough, wondering if you ever figure out that you can kick a bomb by just pushing A twice, or if you could hold a bomb automatically by pushing A and B together.
I knew about the bomb kicking but I just got so used to not doing it that way.. although A+B would’ve been helpful definitely.. I shoulda done that. Thanks for the feedback
