(And are more realistic lol) I played on emulators btw, I'm still young and I didn't exist when those games came out.

On Bomberman 64 there were more death animations than just from bombing yourself, the one when the robot boss punches you to oblivion is a good one
The explosion from stomach is so classic and good, I think the “blown away” effect in recent series is totally not acceptable
