Movie Summary:
In the 23rd century, a New York City cabbie, Korben Dallas (Bruce Willis), finds the fate of the world in his hands when Leeloo (Milla Jovovich) falls into his cab. As the embodiment of the fifth element, Leeloo needs to combine with the other four to keep the approaching Great Evil from destroying the world. Together with Father Vito Cornelius (Ian Holm) and zany broadcaster Ruby Rhod (Chris Tucker), Dallas must race against time and the wicked industrialist Zorg (Gary Oldman) to save humanity.

I believe the role was intended for Prince but that didnt work out. Explains why Ruby Rod was so over the top. Chris nailed it.
With two words: "Wonderfully quirky" is best way to describe this film.

Corbin got fired because of the conversation with Zorg talking about firing “500,000 people from a smaller company like a can company”. But Zorg said to Fire 1 million.
Absolutely iconic movie. I love Chris as Ruby Rhod, and Milla is amazing period. The world building is probably one of my favorite aspects, it’s so thorough & immersive.

If you’ve not seen them, check out his RED movies, RED and RED 2. He stars alongside Morgan Freeman, John Malkovich, Helen Mirren, Mary Louise Parker, Karl Urban and not a lot of screen time but it also has Richard Dreyfus. It’s a great story and hilarious. You’ll love the pig.

I definitely think you should check out Armageddon if you’re a Bruce Willis fan but if you want to see something of his that’s fun and different you should also check out Death Becomes Her.
Bram Stoker's Dracula is a MASTERPIECE and Gary Oldman is amazing in that as Dracula

Gary Oldman is an amazing character actor. One of his best cameos ever is in True Romance (it also has an amazing appearance from Brad Pitt). Him making a classic character all his own is featured in Bram Stoker's Dracula. And to get a taste of him at his most despicable, you'd want to check out Leon: The Professional. 😉
Die Hard is definitely a must see!! Even if you just watch the first one.
Who can stop at one? Although, you could skip the second one and not miss much. The third one is a must see.

Armageddon is a must
One of my all time favorite movies, Jean Paul Gaultier did the costumes including the aliens. I’ve seen it so many times. I do love this movie, the visuals, the mixture of comedy, suspence and a bit of not too graphic violence. Bruce willis was always sexy. Very enteraining and a good mood lifter. It’s a fun movie underrated. And every minute is a surprise. I can’t think of another movie like it, the characters are over the top. You could slip into Chris Tucker mode if you wanted to!

My new favorite channel
This is one of my favorite movies just cause its so out there. Not sure if you know this but Mia Jovovich (yo-vo-vich) was a model before she was an actress. The movie I know her from is Kuffs and she was not an action star in that one. You should definitely check it out as it is a pretty good movie with Christian Slater. Armageddon is a good movie you should check out but my favorite Bruce Willis movie is "The Jackal" with Richard Gere. I really enjoy your reactions and can't wait for more 80s-90s movies or musicals (which I know are hard to post).

For motion sickness, it's pretty normal to be good as the driver, get slight motion sickness as the front passenger and total motion sickness in the back seat.
Chris Tucker's part was originally written for Prince, but Prince turned it down because he wouldn't be the lead of the film.

You will be amazed how even an average gamer headset will improve your experience ... and ours. Currently, what with looking at the camera and looking away and looking anywhere but the video you miss about a quarter of the provided information. Then there's your mouth deafening your ears. All in all, you're missing about half of what you need. Drop a paltry few ducats for some basic headphones with bass boost. Remember, the tiny speakers in ear buds cannot accurately replicate the entire frequency spectrum. I always recommend circumaural (around the ear) even though they are bulkier. They are less fatiguing AND reduce the temptation to go with noise-cancelling, which restricts the audio. Lastly, WIRED. Wireless uses data compression to fit into the transmission bandwidth and always leads to signal clipping. You watch a lot of movies so THX certification can be a plus.

Mila's last name is pronounced with Y (like saying YO), Yovovich. The letter J is pronounced Y in Serbian, Mila is half Serbian, half Russian. Fun fact, the name of the singer Plava Laguna means Blue Lagoon in Serbian.
Fyi Ruby Red was intended for Prince to play,but he declined. And chris tucker got it ,im hlad he did cuz he is too freaking hilarious in this movie.
regarding armageddon: it's not a bad movie per se, definitely worth a watch but if you find yourself enjoying the main storyline i would definitely recommend watching Deep Impact (1998) as well. basically the same premise only way better execution and less blockbuster-y.
(also if you feel like existential sci-fi i recommend Contact (1997) or if you feel like watching something that is scientifically absolutely inaccurate but entertaining as heck watch The Core (2003))

while, for most (her breakout role) people/americans (myself included), the 5th Element, was our first introduction to her, wowing many males with her beauty... ya, at that time, it was more beauty than thicc-ness, (pamela lee anderson of baywatch was the thicc-ness back then), when much later we get kim k and everyone else...
but she was actually doing tv shows and movies long before then, as a child/teen actress, including her role in the 'Return of Blue Lagoon' (a popular movie sequel way back then), with Brooke Shields, another beautiful popular star actress, which was controversial, as they were teens (milla was only 15), yet had n'de scenes...
I've only known her for her "super-hero / non-human" roles too, as that's the only movies I've been interested in seeing with her, but she's done other genre (drama/romance/etc of movies too (and roles within them) ...

Prince turned down the role because he was busy they ask chris which was perfect for him because he always wanted to do things apart from friday and money talks (with charlie sheen) but he didn't know how to go about it but loved it and nailed it recently said so in a interview last year October i think 😊tommy tiny lester (deebo) died rip always ❤bruce has dementia and his being looked after by his wife emily and ex wife demi moore and kids 💙 😢pray for him because last year he found out and was supposed to do a movie 🎬 gary oldman (the one choking) hated his role years later but that made fans loved him more 😅❤maiwenn who plays (diva) is an actress opera singer and filmmaker during filming it was fun for her and its actually hard to sing like that because even the greatest singers in the world would lose their voice the song is real but its structure makes it hard 😊and she was married to the director luc benson who also casted her in arthur the invincible (one of my fave animated 🎬 movies) they divorced and have one child 0

Prince was actually wanted for the role Chris Tucker plays but due to other commitments he was unable to take the role so Chris Tucker acted like Prince instead. The amount of hate Chris Tucker got for this role from the black community when this movie came out was insane.
The director Luc Beeson was actually married to the alien opera diva at the time of the movie but by the time it premiered they were getting divorced as Mila Jovovich was pregnant with his child. They kept their affair secret by only speaking to each other in the divine language that she speaks in the movie as they were the only two who spoke it as he made it up.

Fun fact, Bruce Willis was a soap opera star until he was cast in Die Hard. No one thought he'd be able to pull off an action role but it ended up being his specialty after the first Die Hard was a massive success!
Not a soap opera actor. He was on one of the number one primetime shows of the 80's called Moonlighting. I don't know how old you are, but it was kind of like the show Castle, except Willis was the Stana Katic character and Cybil Shepard was the Nathan Fillion character. Both shows were written for and created by the same people.

Armageddon is a terrible movie, not even a funny watch to laugh at, should skip it to save you some time. Like seriously, why train oil drillers how to be astronauts, instead of training astronauts on how to drill a rock
