This is why I love the old Hondas. Super easy to take apart! Thanks for the quick video!!
Dude you are awesome! The how-to worked just as shown on a "manual button" climate controller that needed replacing on a 1999 Honda Accord. Cheers! :)
Thanks mate gave you a thumbs for being straight and to the point and not beating around the bush. I personally find it extremely annoying when watching DIY video and the person making the video starts sidestepping and wasting time blabbering about bullshit. So once again I commend you on another well made video, keep it up.
Thanks for the video I changed mine I got it at the yonk yard for $97.00 and it is working fine
Thanks for the tutorial video. Short and clear!
There's an after market radio in our Accord as well perhaps I won't have as many screws to remove lol...
Thanks for a great video.
Dude, thank you so much for this video! 👍
Thank you for this and helped a lot!
Excellent descriptions
Thank you so much , this helped alot .
This helped a lot, thanks.
Good video
Is there a way you can wire in the dash then like what you have for the climate control instead of the one with all the buttons
Be careful when prying out the larger assembly. Especially above the vents. Mine broke in the middle.
This was helpful thanks
Great video, thanks!
I have a 2002 accord but it didn't originally come with the automatic climate controls, only the manual push button type. I ran into the same common issue and have to replace it. Can I replace the manual type with the automatic type you have here in this video, or do I have to get another manual type?
I also have a 2002 I am not exactly sure what you mean by "automatic climate controls" I understand what you are saying that you have the manual (push button in the center) are you describing the digital screen in the center that he has in the video in place of the push button type that you have ?
@@cleanhands4987 yeah that's the one I was talking about. Answered my own question by going to the junkyard. The one with the LCD screen has different color and size wiring harnesses, so they can't be interchanged. I did find a working unit for 18 bucks, though.
@@Rhyno186just learned that the hard way bought on eBay no returns 🥲
do you know what model of backlight is?
2:15 explains removing climate control unit
Your screws are missing because your aftermarket radio. Whoever installed that was too lazy to put the screws back on.
Good call I was going to say the same thing but, you beat me to the draw
It was most likely him whom done it.
the lights on my climate control stopped lighting and now the fan only blows occasionally
could the climate control panel need to be replaced ?
Another comment - be aware that when you remove the control assembly and the circuit board, you will probably find that the turn signals do not operate. So don't plan for a long downtime.
