Unfortunately there are 2 different types of this ac panel. I bought a replacement that won't fit my 2000 Accord because they changed the panel design for the 2001-2002 models and that's what I got. So make sure you get the right one for 1998-2000, or 2001-2002!
My 2000 honda accord lx climate control modes and the lights for each mode doesn't work and I also get nothing but cold air put of the vents. What's your suggestion on how to fix this? Thermostat? Climate control unit needs replaced? Also mine is also missing the knows fkr the climate control temperature and fan speed know. Autozone and oreilys doesn't sell them. Must be a honda part only. Grrr

How can you tell if works or not
When I replaced my climate control unit with one from the junkyard, I wasn't able to verify if it worked until I installed it in my Accord. Fortunately, it worked for me.
Had it not worked, I had a 30-day return policy.
