    Thank you for taking the time to make this video. I've been thinking about importing some plants, but the entire process is intimidating. I've held off because it's a lot of money to not complete the process properly.

    Super helpful. Thank you.
    Update: Right after I left this comment I applied for my permit. It was approved today. The online application ends June 30 so I'm glad I got in before the deadline so I can save myself a trip. Looking forward to my plants being shipped. Thanks again.

    the sites changed a few things around since this video. I'm so lost. I can't find the register option shown at 6:30 I got a different page.
    This new thing that went into effect Dec 1st 2022 sucks. I'm a frequent buyer of plants form Indonesia and now we need a import permit for just a single plant.

    do have any sellers our sites for importing plants that are safer for buyers etsy says even if you recive nothing as long as they have a shipping slip , even if it hasnt left their country, you are out the money! they dont even have to supply copy of pyhto to the site.

    When it comes to the list of plants you are wanting to import, do you have to write each individual plant specifically? Or is something general like 3 aroids & 2 cacti?

    • @gerardshorticultureculture7579
      @gerardshorticultureculture7579  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    • @thebeauceronboys9397
      @thebeauceronboys9397 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Gerard's Horticulture Culture so does that mean that each individual plant that you want to bring in has to be listed specifically on the form? I’ve been stuck on that part of the application for a solid month now but of course haven’t called 🙈. I know exactly what plants I plan to bring in but don’t know if I need to list each plant individually or just put “10 misc aroids”
