You can amend the permit with any new articles you want to add. When you are done complete the permit application which will send it to them for approval.

Follow the same steps but note at timestamp 5:41 there is an Amendment option choose that and select the permit you previously had approved, click continue and just enter new articles which adds them to the current permit. Follow the same steps as you did previously when you created the permit. 💚🌱

Hi Rafael, all countries have different laws so you will need to search for your local import offices online and call them to figure out what you need to do to import into your country.
So if I do this and just send the labels to the person that needs to ship the package they wont have anything weird to do on their part other than slapping my address on the box along with the labels? I'm trying to acquire plants from someone who does not sell plants and is just some random guy with a garden in India willing to ship me a a particular species I'm after.
So I did the verification process, I was allowed into the epermits section and began an application but then started over. Now I still can access the epermits application area but it's telling me I am not verified...Do I need to re-verify every time I submit an application?
I wouldn’t think so. It’s more likely to me there is some sort of technical issues with one of their services. I would try waiting a day and then trying again, if it doesn’t let you in as verified by then you likely would need to go through the verification process again.

@@mtownz6215 Hi dean, if you have more articles associated with the permit than are in the shipment that is fine! It only matters if you do not have all the articles in the shipment listed because if they inspect your package they can choose to confiscate it or notify you that you need to amend your permit with ALL the appropriate articles in the package.

Hi Anna linn, no you don’t have to submit another application. If you have an existing application you should be able to select amendment then proceed through to enter new articles.
I was sent 8 labels in total, are they for 8 different shipments or do I sent all 8 of them to the same seller for shipment. I’m sorry for the confusion!
No worries! It’s a confusing process all the way around! Generally a vendor will ask for your shipping labels through some digital media like email. Just send them the pdf you were sent with all the labels. They are identical for each permit so it doesn’t make much difference! They just print them out and attach them to however many packages they are sending you!

Jan Nguyen wow, that is fast. I’ve had them approve an application in 48 hours but that was the fasted. I don’t believe they issue temporary permits, so sounds to me like you are good to go.

Different countries have different requirements. Typically the country of export provides a phytosanitary certificate.
Do I need a permit to purchase plants off of eBay that are from other countries that have Free Phytosanitary?
Usually the seller will tell you, I think a very small amount of plants from specific places can pass through ok.
