@ no. Morena explained the core of her ability which is infecting others and giving them abilities by allowing them to lvl up. Everything else are the details and Morena told her to ask as many questions as Borksen wants. She also told her about kiss and cards as part of initiation much later when ability card was thrown in graveyard. Borksen even stated that Morena is willing to explain further about any cards even after they went to the graveyard so it was ultimately her fault for not asking. Besides I think it’s obvious that Morena would also be punished for cheating considering the complexity of her ability and that she basically forced Borksen to play. Omitting details but still willing to explain them if the right questions are asked is not a cheating
List of HxH videos that i desperately need from a not so simple man on the internet, Liam: 1) HxH Iceberg, part 5. The video that was promised! Azor Ahai. 2) Silent Majority user video. 3) Kaiser and Justice Bureau video. Bust most of all, I need that character analysis of MELODUSSY from him AND his wife!
One thing is for sure... Is that it's completely over for Bonelenov. Hisoka pre-mortem nen had senses sharp enough to spot a hidden assassin with perfect zetsu (Kalluto, on Greed Island), without using en and without being particularly on guard. And this guy had the nerve to use his HATSU within mere meters of a post mortem Nen Hisoka who's definitely on the look out? Lmaooo "That's a bad move, little bone"
To be honest ilumi might have a better chance of finding hisoka first than the other troupe members, I feel he knows him best amongst them all, and hisoka would be drawn to him since he's in love with fighting strong opponents.
He’s not going to be drawn to him. He’s obviously busy with his current goal. Ilumi also doesn’t know Hisoka that well. He knows a side of Hisoka only. Ilumi is still fundamentally a plaything.
Naaaah that commentator is insane, this arc in my opinion is one of the best, not everything should be punch fighting, and i'm sure that when the punchfighting arrives it'll be great
One of the most unique things I find interesting about hxh is that the results of the punchfighting are almost always decided before the first fist is thrown, because the punchfight is only the physical culmination of a much longer brainfight.
I don't think the commenter necessarily just wants punch fighting. I can understand why someone would hate this arc. Tbh, it is grating on my nerves, but mostly bc Togashi is taking forever to publish it and it is slow paced to begin with. Regardless, I think this arc is the most ambitious and has the potential to be the best yet, but I also think it has the most flaws of any arc so far. It is very much "tell, not show," as opposed to "show, not tell." It is mostly endless narration and dialogue, which can get exhausting after a while. There is a reason people complain about the manga panels having pretty sparse drawings and huge walls of text. And I don't mean that in a "reading hard, me no like" kind of way, but rather, this arc is probably the worst offender of Togashi's infamous habit of exposition dumping. He has done SOOOO much setup and exposition, and then when you think something is going to pay off, he switches to a new set of characters on the ship and starts over again. Along the same lines, he is introducing so many characters that are probably going to be meaningless, and who just exist to move the plot forward. They don't really have characterization, they are just there, and there are too many of them. Togashi has introduced dozens of new, 1-dimensional characters, most of whom have little importance. For every great new character, like Tserriednich, Morena, Hinrigh, etc., there are 10 NPCs. Another problem is where in the series Togashi decided to place this arc. He introduced the Dark Continent, probably the most exciting thing yet in the series; he introduced Beyond Netero, who is just a giant mystery and promises to shake up the series drastically; he showed us Ging's interaction with Paristan and Beyond's team, hyping up how awesome Ging is and speculating about the extent of his powers; and he showed us one of the best fights in all of manga, between Hisoka and Chrollo, and now we are waiting with bated breath to see the next confrontation between the Troupe and the resurrected murder clown. He made us so excited for where the series was going, then took a hard left turn and has been writing about a completely different plot for _seventy_ chapters. He tends to hype up a character or plot event to almost a boiling point, then completely shift focus. It's sort of like narrative blue-balls after seventy chapters. This arc, especially when placed after the amazing introduction of the Dark Continent, has some serious pacing issues.
@@j-rey-narrative blue balls 😂😂😂😂 I don’t even read the manga, I only watch Liam’s videos to stay updated, but after keeping up with this for 4+ years, Togashi is basically edging himself like dude we get you’re an amazing writer
i agree with the commenter. this political bs is just a snooze fest and uninteresting. i don't care about these characters at all and all this arc does is stall the more interesting ones that are coming up. this arc feels like a posh version of bleach with a billion characters introduced none of which i give af about
Let's talk about my OC's Main-Hatsu! I want Feedback!!!!! To summarize and simplify to the Exteme: Imagine a kingly Entity, someone born strong, smart and rich and thus with no real 'Desire', no selectionpressure ever touched his Skin. Like Meruem but actually interested in Nen - though just cause its cool. So cause he likes the Pokemon Skittie, thinks himself a Born Leader and for more reasons, he creates a Nen-Beast looking like a certain Pokemon, but made out of pure gold-coloured Aura; its Tail acting like an Antenna that attracts and absorbs the Nen-Ability of every deceased Loyal-Servant who swore Loyalty, did a little Ritual with Him once (needs to be renewed every half a year) and has then died. Extreme Restrictions that he bares with a smile allow for Insanely Powerful Specialist Nen. Every Death transfers the Main-Ability, forcing the Corpse to activate Post-Mortem-Nen but if Post-Mortem-Nen happens by itself, then all the better: then all Hatsu get transfered AND its a bit more powerful when used by its new User, the Owner of the Golden Skittie. Whichever Hatsu is Strongest gets Transfered normally and gets to be used by Percentages as if he is whatvever the Type of the original User was. Funny enough, most wouldnt realize this is a Risk in itself, as inhering one Ability is not as good as Another and there could even be a Kastro-Case - imagine inheriting a Conju+Manipu Power from an Enhancer :) The first Time "Gratitude Antenna" [ Attract What's Yours ] activates is actually Not thx to a Servants Death! See, a Politican-Family actualy conjured a House that is then used by someone who must be a Manipulator, to have anyone in it think more and more favorably of the Family. Worked well for a while, they just invited rich or powerful folks and changed them little by little Using that on Him turned out bad for them. See, knowing they'd target always Non-Nen-Users, they made it a Risk that if their Manipulation ever fails, the User themselves gets Manipulated now - completly, that is. Utter Slavemindset for an entire day. And yeah, hes naturally immune against all Mindcontrol, its a trait that has nothing to do with Nen. Understanding the whole entire Situation made him smile and k-ll her with the Words "Ah, Nen-Technicalities! The Best Nen! The Best Technicalities!" Cause it was mindless 'Identifying as a Servant of the Almost-Victim' it didnt count as Loyalty, but regardless: He didnt get Multiple abilities, but hey, better than nothing, yeah? So yeah that's why he now has an Ability named in another Language than all his other Abilities are named. Whatever, the Name translates to 'Property Liability'!
This last batch of 10 chapters really sold me on the succession contest arc. It's starting to ramp up and it'll will be a big, drawn out free for all with so many possibilities for togashi to have fun. Can't wait!
I just remembered i once had a real great Idea for Manipu-Nen: Force-Activatoin, the Ability to 'cause a Misfiree'. Think about it: This is not the downtrotten Path of Brainwashing but pretty outside the Box and yet definetly-possible from what we know. Think about the Possibities of forcefully Acivating Hatsu. It would be the Ultimate Hit or Miss, really. Misfires can cause or end Wars. At Worst you just draw Aggro onto you but at Best you could intercept someone who does what Gon did, meaning a timelimit Supercharge-Mod Suicide-Bomb. If a One-Minute Now-or-Never-Attack activates or is fired before it was meant to and before the Intended Target is even Near, this would make all go to waste
I agree, this is maybe best arc so far. Chimera Ants was strong too, and has been animated, so i can see how many would think it is best arc. But this arc has been insanely good imo, the story, the different plot threads, huge cast w new, mysterious and scary characters and abilities. All the dynamics and groups and power struggles. This arc 🔥
This makes a lot of sense actually. Illumi was shown to be obsessed with Alluka's powers, and yet we see him going on the dark continent voyage. Which means he's not actively trying to reach Killua and Alluka. He may be getting his own AI in the dark continent as you say.
Oh shi the timeline! I forgot about the martial law mention with Illumi and Kalluto. Togashi knows what he’s doing! I hate when people criticize his art style and walls of text. His story telling is incredible.

@@alexanderthunder7623 The question is if a Group-Leader would even want such a 'Hit or Miss'-Guy running around trying it on as many people as possible. Do you let him just roam around? Do you give him Bodyguadd, and all the Resources he could ever need to be a Success? Send at least 1 Teleporter with him so he can mess-up-and-not-die?
I think Contagion might be the key to surviving on the Dark Continent. An ability such as that would allow someone like Morena or another player 0 to farm say, creatures on the dark continet, and have them make other players that could keep leveling up infinitely and allow for them to just stockpile nen abilities to keep themselves and the rest of the players alive.
Personally I am loving this arc for the same reason that I could see others disliking it, or disliking HxH as a whole. See, as much as I enjoy YYH, the big issue with it for me is that it is, at it's core, very much a shonen action series. And I don't normally like those. There's too much fighting with too little character development. And while the stakes are always super high, world ending more often than not, it gets to the point that the stakes don't actually feel like they mean anything, and the stuff that I do care about takes way too long to happen between battles that are just more of the same, but bigger and flashier. If you're approaching a series wanting a "good shonen" series, then that's exactly what you're looking for. You want more fights, you likely care more about how the fights happen than what the fight really means. Not that you don't care at all about the other stuff, but you're probably mostly there for exciting battles, with a lot of the other stuff more designed to show how you get from one battle to the next than anything else. But I LOVE that HxH really isn't a shonen anymore, if it ever even truly was. Even something like all the fighting during the palace invasion is less straight up fighting and more mind games and strategies that have little to do with the individual thrown punches. Honestly it makes something like the Chimera Ants royal guard such an intriguing "fight", because you know going into it that there's really no way to beat them in a straight up fight. Other shonen might have had the heroes get knocked down but they just refuse to give up and they draw on some deep inner strength and then they can fight even more and end up winning. And that's SO OVERDONE! The closest you get to that is Gon's nen vow he used to defeat Pitou, but even that subverted typical shonen expectations. So, yeah, I can easily see why, if you go into this wanting peak shonen action you'd be disappointed, and by this ark more than any other perhaps, but it's great if you specifically don't like shonen as a general rule (with a few guilty exceptions).
@@ChromaticEagle They did, and I did mention that YYH is my exception where I do like a fairly typical shonen. Chapter Black was my favorite arc because of both the character development as well as the fact that it didn't all come down to just fighting. The unique powers meant unique methods of besting one's opponent that I really loved. Dark Tournament, however, despite the character development, was not my favorite. There was just way too much fighting, often with characters that we had zero reason to care about, bloating the episode count. The stuff there that was good was really great, and we at least got some extra payoff from bringing back numerous characters in the Demon World tournament, but still it just felt like it dragged on way too long for me. But I understand for many that was THE ultimate anime tournament arc, and that's fine, it's just not for someone like me.
@@gravajaumbros Something to think about as well is that one of Togashi’s first projects was YYH… which was ultimately rushed by the studio which is why some arcs after Dark Tournament feel forced, not fully fleshed out, and the payoffs are weak. He learned from YYH and has way more freedom to creatively express himself. Also, Togashi was severely burnt out while creating YYH, he took that two year break from HXH to refocus on his health. Togashi created both series in different phases of his career and that reflects on the work. YYH as a reference is the perfect example of the difference in pace, fleshed narratives, and increasingly significant pay-offs
the succession arc is by far mu favorite arc so far it has so much information to take in andf when you even feel like you understand 20% of it, it feels so rewarding. i feel the same thing i do with hunter hunter right now that i do waiting for winds of winter.
HxH is never noticed for how much the theme changes as the story continues but that's definitely one of its strongest points. Somehow all the arcs (no matter how different) fit together so perfectly. Nice one, internet man.
This chapter reminded me of when we went back to Egghead after Hachinosu. We all thought we'd get flashbacks to cover the missing night but nothing, could be the same here tbh.
i was rereading old chapters and totally forgot that camilla has a whole personal army of "have-nots" who are designated to certain princes and curse their target, so after they kill themselves, their target gets cursed and hopefully ends up dying as well. it is eerily similar to the curse placed on beyond's children...
We need to appreciate how Togashi is aging like fine wine, how he is producing the story with all he's got. Seriously, he is a genius of his own craft.
We will definetly going back in time at least about 10 hours. We still have to see Tserriednich training and his first fight against Salkov (poor man ahahah) , Kurapika second Nen lesson , silent majority , and Sarahell's plan to kill Woble , Halkenburg's plan , the arrival of Halkenburg' body from Tier 3 to Tier 1 , and maybe Marayam.
Honestly, if HxH had to have a worst arc, I'd say it's Kukuruu Mountain Arc (Gon visits Killua's home Arc). It was very short, had a sudden lackluster climax, and, worst, had some setups that went no where in typical Togashi-fashion (looking at you, Silva)
The Bonesoka situation made me rethink the "Illumi is Hisoka" theory as still being relevant. Here's why : If postmortem Nen Hisoka can create full body parts with Gum and change their appearance with Texture Surprise, then he can most likely also create what I would call "Bungee-Bunshin", straight up clones of himself. This would give the "I don't mind playing with myself" line from Hisoka an entire new meaning... It would also be a bit Togashi like to "fool us" by showing us that we were both right and wrong with the Illumi is Hisoka theory. Now, as far as the amount of Nen that would be required of him to pilot an entire "Nen beinf" detached from his main body from one whole tier to another (which would tap into Emitter category), without it being noticed by veterans nen users like Zodiac members... Gets me like meh 🤔 But then again, a genius like hisoka with post mortem nen combined with a probable vow and restriction, we don't know the extent to which it boosted all of his stats. One thing is for sure... Is that it's completely over for Bonelenov. Hisoka pre-mortem nen had senses sharp enough to spot a hidden assassin with perfect zetsu, without using en and without being particularly on guard. And this guy had the nerve to use his HATSU within meters of a post mortem Nen Hisoka who's definitely on the look out? Lmaooo "That's a bad move, little bone"
nope. then that means hisoka would put significant manipulation abilities into that bungee clone if he would like it to move which hisoka contradicts himself as hes the type to not split a significant nen power to an affinity he is completely opposite to which is manipulation just like what he criticised about castro
@chad63 I agree... To a point. We know what nen vows can do, and we have a very slight idea of how wild post mortem nen can get... And I think that we haven't even seen the tip of his buffed up Bungee gum powers yet. Just him being able to recreate full body parts with bungee gum doesn't seem to quite cut it for me
@@guilhermefern Kastro was not a post mortem nen user. Nor did he use a vow a restrictions to circumvent the aura/memory drainage of his bunshin. Not to mention, Hisoka wouldn't be using his clones to fight. Just to fool with them and Explore several tiers at once. Guys, don't worry, I admitted myself that in the area of nen affinity usage this "theory" would be wild and far fetched, but a lot of things about Illumi speech to The Zodiac member still remain unexplained You guys realize that Netero is using Conjuration AND Manipulation right? That tells you how much of a cheat code a Vow + Restriction + Crazy Talent + Crazy Resolve can be
@katsu2887 Has it been confirmed somewhere that post morten nen works that way? I thought that it was only buffed for the porpuse of the will in the moment of death, in that case being "make my heart and lungs beat again". About vows and talent, yeah that's possible. But would hisoka need a clone that much? I don't think so...
U know we're lucky there are no zoldyks involved with the succession war. With his nen ability needle people, illumi could Single handedly take entire princes down
I do think turning Morena into a dark continent creature really dampens the impact of having a human so hell bent to destroy it all From a thematic standpoint it feels more powerful to me if she is just a human, who had a terrible life up until now
There will be, that's not speculation, it's explicitly stated at the start of the Arc that they'll build more of them to colonize the dark (new) continent after the initial expedition
Maybe instead of asking "what happens if I cheat," Borksen could have asked something like "are there any other rules to the Negotiation game" while exploring the Ability card, and repeated until Morena gave her "no, that's everything."
honestly this succession arc with minimal action has got more invested then any other arc just because there's so many things that need answers still which just keeps you on the hook, even with years in-between breaks in content
You've done such a good job keeping interest in hxh during these long hiatus's, I also like how you give your theories, but don't harp on them (or just throw everything at the wall, and when one thing comes true make a big deal like yeah bro of course you'd get something right, sorry I'm just real disappointed in a Naruto channel, he's been getting a big head, plus I think he steals his viewers theories) if anyone can figure out who I'm talking about you get a cookie
I could be wrong but I seem to recall that Kurapika's nen contract stipulates that if he uses his chain on anyone other than a member of the Phanom Troop he will die. If that is accurate, and Togashi has already said that Kurapika will die, am I crazy to think that he may choose to use the chain and trade his life to take out one of the princes (probably Siraiznick)? It just seems like if there is no other good way for him to win then that is a trade that he would willingly make. Sorry if that idea has already been floating around, I'm not up to date on all the prediction things!
10:56 Yeah, I think as a normal person, you’d want to check if the other person was cheating… but as a Nen user, you want to check the repercussions of cheating. Borksen asked Morena “if she would cheat” but never “what would happen if she (or Borksen) cheated”. Kind of a rookie mistake kind of thing. And I agree, I think Morena genuinely thought she was establishing a bond with Borksen and was disappointed to see Borksen cheating.
Yeah, there's no way a normal person would assume that a magical ability *born out of an individual's unique personality* would be pricey to information that the individual does not themselves know You'd figure, "oh, weird Jesus lady with a magic card game....might be bad if she catches me cheating, but if she doesn't...)" You wouldn't assume "the magic might somehow know if I'm cheating like it's some sort of impartial algorithm."
I think there are 2 main reasons why people seem to dislike this arc. 1. It's not animated. Watching a show is often just way nicer for a lot of people, aspecially with hxh since there is a looot of reading to do. 2. It's complicated. A lot of different plot points that the readers don't really understand because they are either just not revealed yet or it's because they simply don't get it.
@@daffakandias7386 well I guess but when was the last time hxh got released regularly? I may be a bit biased like Liam because it's the only arc I could follow on release
I love the arc but I agree that it’s complicated to the point it gets frustrating. So many new characters and plots at the same time. The fact that it has been so long since it started is not helping. Add this to Togashi’s writing style moving the focus all over the place before giving us any answers. You waited two years to know what happened to character X? Too bad, we’re talking about new characters playing card games now. Better luck next time! HxH has been my favorite story for 20 years but I would probably have dropped in the past few years if it wasn’t for Liam and his channel.
I have caught up on Hxh a couple weeks ago and I absolutely love the series and your videos are super useful! I have a question man on internet who do you think will win the Succession Contest? Woble, Benjamin, Tsurreidnich, Zhang Lei? Or no one at all?
just had a thought and wanted to share it with you liam, if kurapika were to obtain nitro rice then the restriction caused by emperor time would be basically gone… and he just so happens to be headed to the dark continent…
The distance to the new continent still has a bunch of potential story lines outside of the succession war, The phantom troupe vs Hisoka, What Beyond is planning (also when will we learn his child's identity?), also would be good to have some Ging content and the exact plan for the real Dark Continent
I predict the coffin theory is mostly right which is that within the coffin is a switch or something that can be activated when the casket opens and Benjamin inspects it the agent is released maybe balsenburg has a remote or something and then balsenburg is sent out to kill one of the princes after Benjamin declares martial law and that’s where he is currently.
The black whale ship kinda gives me impression of a Chain Chomp or Bob-omb from Mario series. Wonder if that has anything to do with it sinking or maybe even explosion that causes it to sink?
Do you think Okutani's ability is affected by the declaration of special martial law?? He's the legal advisor and maybe tied to the justice bureau; his power allows him to remove intruders when they do something illegal. What happens if the justice bureau loses its authority in martial law? If intrusion isn't illegal?
Two things can be true at the same time. Marena can be dead and alive at the same time. We know from the flashbacks that this one had the scars meant for the "fake" kids since childhood. So she was meant as one, it might be that the person inside is not the same. That a calamity was born, designated as meat, took over Marena's consciousness in order to survive. It would have made sense since her scars marked her as someone meant to not just live but have a position of authority later in life. It would actually make sense if they were twins or something to complete the picture and this is Marena's way of dealing with the guilt of her other half getting the bad deal and dying.
Currently going back and rewatching Hunter Hunter I realize its like 3 more arcs they can still make and explore based off the material in the the anime like heavens area floor masters and the Big Tournament they mentioned as well as more about what Ging left gon on his Tape

I was thinking, Silent Majority user could still be Longhi, depending on how the contract ability works. If the agreeing party of the contract gets the contract ability and still retains the punishment and rewards of the contract, it means that Longhi could theoretically not be the contract ability original user, meaning the user of Silent Majority could still be her.
I can't actually say there's been a bad arch. I like the mind games the Succession Arc has brought. No one really knows what's going on yet, and I think we're just going to have this profound reveal at some point that'll make us all drop our jaws. It's giving me Kite suddenly being killed(ish) vibes.
The interesting part about the anti-cheat mechanism component of Morena's ability is that it doesn't guarantee the result she wants, though it makes it more probable.
You should make a video of each day up until Special Law began. It’s hard to keep everything thing together with all the hiatuses and complexity of the voyage.
With your ability I have one request can you do a video on everybody we know so far on the black whale and the part they could play in the future like bisky and wing (I’m sure they are not there for no reason we still need to know what wing and zushi are really made of I’m sure it should be interesting especially since zushi and illumi are both manipulators in the most manipulated arc to date it’s a mega greed island arc 🎉🎉😮
It might be that all of the calamities given to humanity are extremely powerful artifacts/animals/diseases that have specific nen-based interactions with humas specifically. Humans were once the dominant species in the HxH world due to their discovery of nen, and everything around them then rapidly and rabidly evolved their own nen powers to balance out the humans, but that juat caused them to become almost extinct and flee to lake mobius. Where the major population forgot about nen and started living semi-peacefully.
That benjamin/Halkenberg idea is actually genius. If his strategy is to infect everybody and then he has a couple hours to swap to the next victim, he is almost unbeatable
I think Borksen will kill a prince. Especially now that Zhang Lei has apparently gone to tier 2, and there's a chance that Benjamin will go after him. I don't see why Togashi would dedicate 4 chapters to her if she wasn't going to do something BIG.
People with negative IQ: "Why didn't she ask about the consequences of cheating ??????" 1) it will generate suspicious from the start 2) an even bigger restriction will be given to caught any cheating 3) and the most important one, if she asks it would have to be during the "yes" and "no" phase, so >Hey can I cheat? "No" >Will there be any consequences? "Yes" >Seems we got nothing out of that
Personal hxh hunter arc list - York New - Hunter elections - succession war - chimera ants (- killua rescue arc if you consider it different from hunter exam) - hunter exam - greed island - heaven's arena Still, heaven's arena is better than any naruto or bleach arc
It make sense that she's possessed by hellbell, like contagion is hellbell ability and the card game is morena ability, kinda like i think nanika rules exceptions that applies only for killua are in reality alluka ability. I think every nen user possessed by a calamity is going to have the calamity ability and a personal ability that supports it.
My long shot prediction is that Silent Majority is Nasubi’s guardian spirit beast ability. Sending out faceless nen women to enact his dirty work while he reclines in safety seems like his style.
Can you glaze Botobai Gigante? Him walking up to Benjamin to ask him if hes ok last chapter gave him so much HIM energy that if he gets into a fight it will most certainly be epic and it might happen in the next batch of chapters🔥
6:56 Assuming the order of events in 403 were correct, Halkenburg was already in Balsamilco's body when he called the first queen and she said she will back him, so the likelihood of the Benjamin who plans to pass the throne to his child being actually Halkenburg is high. With the first queen's support then Halkenburg winning and dying as Benjamin to pass the rights to a heir means he could have his objective achieved by the first queen who has a lot to gain using her grandson to dismantle the empire and then legitimately run for power as a popular candidate ready to take a new Kakin to the world stage. Benjamin strikes me as the kind of guy who'd prioritize finding a cure for himself as the first option which might be possible by covertly consulting with nen experts. This Benjamin who is already expecting to go down to hell with all the current princes displays the exact kind of desperate resolve that Halkenburg has taken on.
Could Hisoka be a cursed prince from beyond netero? His nen after death and sheer composure of nen might be a foreshadowing to a secret prince blood war on the black whale.
I HAVE A REQUEST, MAN ON THE INTERNET!!! I would like to see a video where you explore types of hunter Killiwa may become. I personally think he will end up as a candy hunter.
rn succession is still number 3 behind york new and chimera. It is still missing it's true arc defining moments. We have had many good moments but nothing on the level of Kurapika vs Uvo, Zoldycks v chrollo, the troupes requiem etc. I got a feeling we will get those very soon though.
I'd debate the succession arc being the best so far. But it is *really good* stuff and I do love every chapter I get of it. As of right now I think it doesn't quite match the chimera ant and yorknew city arcs, but it's really close and could get better (and to be fair it seems like we're just about to hit the big climax, so I suspect its best parts are yet to come)

I click.
Melodussy truly made his videos unskippable
List of HxH videos that i desperately need from a not so simple man on the internet, Liam:
1) HxH Iceberg, part 5.

Lmaooo
"That's a bad move, little bone"
hes the first to die for sure unless some other troupe member happens to be nearby as well
@namelessidiot8132 not only that, Bonelenov has the mafia on his tail now 😭
I dunno about that. He didn't spot Gon, who unknowingly used zetsu during the Hunter Exams
@@rebelpoxy wasnt that because he was in blood lust?
@katsu2887 oh shit i forgot yeah that man is finished💀
To be honest ilumi might have a better chance of finding hisoka first than the other troupe members, I feel he knows him best amongst them all, and hisoka would be drawn to him since he's in love with fighting strong opponents.
i think hisoka is prioritising killing the troupe as efficiently as possible at the moment
@@j-rey-Somebody being critical and pointing out flaws because they love the series? No, no no. Fake fan.

Illumi casually chatted and never moved from his relaxing spot next to his brother.
I cannot believe this batch of chapters is out already. Time has flown by so fast since we were all beyond excited in chapter 401
Let's talk about my OC's Main-Hatsu! I want Feedback!!!!!
To summarize and simplify to the Exteme:
Imagine a kingly Entity, someone born strong, smart and rich and thus with no real 'Desire', no selectionpressure ever touched his Skin. Like Meruem but actually interested in Nen - though just cause its cool.
So cause he likes the Pokemon Skittie, thinks himself a Born Leader and for more reasons,
he creates a Nen-Beast looking like a certain Pokemon, but made out of pure gold-coloured Aura; its Tail acting like an Antenna that attracts and absorbs the Nen-Ability of every deceased Loyal-Servant who swore Loyalty, did a little Ritual with Him once (needs to be renewed every half a year) and has then died.
Funny enough, most wouldnt realize this is a Risk in itself, as inhering one Ability is not as good as Another and there could even be a Kastro-Case - imagine inheriting a Conju+Manipu Power from an Enhancer :)
The first Time "Gratitude Antenna"
[ Attract What's Yours ] activates is actually Not thx to a Servants Death!
See, a Politican-Family actualy conjured a House that is then used by someone who must be a Manipulator,
to have anyone in it think more and more favorably of the Family. Worked well for a while, they just invited rich or powerful folks and changed them little by little
Using that on Him turned out bad for them.
The Best Technicalities!"
Cause it was mindless 'Identifying as a Servant of the Almost-Victim' it didnt count as Loyalty, but regardless: He didnt get Multiple abilities, but hey, better than nothing, yeah?
At Worst you just draw Aggro onto you but at Best you could intercept someone who does what Gon
did, meaning a timelimit Supercharge-Mod Suicide-Bomb.

This arc 🔥
Illumi's secret goal is to get his own Alluka
This makes a lot of sense actually. Illumi was shown to be obsessed with Alluka's powers, and yet we see him going on the dark continent voyage. Which means he's not actively trying to reach Killua and Alluka. He may be getting his own AI in the dark continent as you say.
Oh shi the timeline! I forgot about the martial law mention with Illumi and Kalluto. Togashi knows what he’s doing! I hate when people criticize his art style and walls of text. His story telling is incredible.
Martial law makes it easier for chrollo to steal the artifacts he needs. Security will be beefed up towards the Princes.

I really like this. This is awesome lol...
This man on the internet hunts up all the best theories.
Dark Tournament and Chapter Black had a ton of development
@@gravajaumbros
Something to think about as well is that one of Togashi’s first projects was YYH… which was ultimately rushed by the studio which is why some arcs after Dark Tournament feel forced, not fully fleshed out, and the payoffs are weak.
Illumi's last move saved Chrollo's life.
He then proceeded to deceive Chrollo by pretending to be Hisoka in their base while the real Hisoka conspired with Kurapika against him

Shout out to the editor (or editors), the videos always have very entertaining visuals
HxH is never noticed for how much the theme changes as the story continues but that's definitely one of its strongest points. Somehow all the arcs (no matter how different) fit together so perfectly. Nice one, internet man.

Don't let this distract you from the fact that Hisoka's bungee Gum possesses the qualities of both rubber and gum
i was rereading old chapters and totally forgot that camilla has a whole personal army of "have-nots" who are designated to certain princes and curse their target, so after they kill themselves, their target gets cursed and hopefully ends up dying as well. it is eerily similar to the curse placed on beyond's children...
How cool my comment was used in the video !!! Thanks Liam , I was genuinely shocked to be included !!! I look forward to your silent majority video 😁
will you do a full timeline of this arc? that would be useful

I was waiting for this! ❤❤❤
A video about Illumi!
Thank you❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
We will definetly going back in time at least about 10 hours. We still have to see Tserriednich training and his first fight against Salkov (poor man ahahah) , Kurapika second Nen lesson , silent majority , and Sarahell's plan to kill Woble , Halkenburg's plan , the arrival of Halkenburg' body from Tier 3 to Tier 1 , and maybe Marayam.
yk you are a good youtuber when you can make compelling content with mere crumbs👌🏼🗿
The final requirement to activate Liam's deadliest ability has been met.
Gets me like meh 🤔
But then again, a genius like hisoka with post mortem nen combined with a probable vow and restriction, we don't know the extent to which it boosted all of his stats.
Lmaooo
"That's a bad move, little bone"
nope. then that means hisoka would put significant manipulation abilities into that bungee clone if he would like it to move which hisoka contradicts himself as hes the type to not split a significant nen power to an affinity he is completely opposite to which is manipulation just like what he criticised about castro
@chad63 I agree... To a point. We know what nen vows can do, and we have a very slight idea of how wild post mortem nen can get... And I think that we haven't even seen the tip of his buffed up Bungee gum powers yet.
Just him being able to recreate full body parts with bungee gum doesn't seem to quite cut it for me
By the way, that's exactly why Kastro lost to Hisoka
@@guilhermefern Kastro was not a post mortem nen user. Nor did he use a vow a restrictions to circumvent the aura/memory drainage of his bunshin.
Not to mention, Hisoka wouldn't be using his clones to fight. Just to fool with them and Explore several tiers at once.
Guys, don't worry, I admitted myself that in the area of nen affinity usage this "theory" would be wild and far fetched, but a lot of things about Illumi speech to The Zodiac member still remain unexplained
You guys realize that Netero is using Conjuration AND Manipulation right?
That tells you how much of a cheat code a Vow + Restriction + Crazy Talent + Crazy Resolve can be
@katsu2887 Has it been confirmed somewhere that post morten nen works that way? I thought that it was only buffed for the porpuse of the will in the moment of death, in that case being "make my heart and lungs beat again".
About vows and talent, yeah that's possible. But would hisoka need a clone that much? I don't think so...

togashi will never write about the dark continent because ging said to enjoy the detours, not the destination
14:55 bro that quill placement and movement had me dying 😂😭
Yeah, there's no way a normal person would assume that a magical ability *born out of an individual's unique personality* would be pricey to information that the individual does not themselves know
You'd figure, "oh, weird Jesus lady with a magic card game....might be bad if she catches me cheating, but if she doesn't...)"
You wouldn't assume "the magic might somehow know if I'm cheating like it's some sort of impartial algorithm."
3. It's been over a decade and it's not finished nor any indication will be soon
@@daffakandias7386 well I guess but when was the last time hxh got released regularly?
I may be a bit biased like Liam because it's the only arc I could follow on release
I remember being SO lost while reading the chairman election arc. But the anime just made that whole arc SO fun and enjoyable.

I have a question man on internet who do you think will win the Succession Contest? Woble, Benjamin, Tsurreidnich, Zhang Lei? Or no one at all?
Okay another potential for Benjamin survival is leorio and the green hair hunter girl will help him
"the green hair hunter girl" lmao you mean the current chairman of the hunter association
They couldn't save halkenburg, so its not entirely possible
just had a thought and wanted to share it with you liam, if kurapika were to obtain nitro rice then the restriction caused by emperor time would be basically gone… and he just so happens to be headed to the dark continent…
Cheating was a completely logical decision on Borksen’s part, and the anti-cheat a perfectly logical mechanism on Morena’s part.
The distance to the new continent still has a bunch of potential story lines outside of the succession war, The phantom troupe vs Hisoka, What Beyond is planning (also when will we learn his child's identity?), also would be good to have some Ging content and the exact plan for the real Dark Continent
The man on the internet strikes back and save another week worth of HxH content 🎉

We'll get GTA 6 before the silent majority video 😂
People with negative IQ:
"Why didn't she ask about the consequences of cheating ??????"
1) it will generate suspicious from the start
2) an even bigger restriction will be given to caught any cheating
3) and the most important one, if she asks it would have to be during the "yes" and "no" phase, so
>Hey can I cheat? "No"
>Will there be any consequences? "Yes"
>Seems we got nothing out of that
I guess she didn't ask because she was not a nen user. She did not have enough knowledge about nen and didn't know about condition and restrictions
Personal hxh hunter arc list
- York New
- Hunter elections
- succession war
- chimera ants
(- killua rescue arc if you consider it different from hunter exam)
- hunter exam
- greed island
- heaven's arena
Still, heaven's arena is better than any naruto or bleach arc
Man see new HxH content. Man click. Man happy.
I hope handsome internet man is ok.
you've got youtube talent man on internet
It make sense that she's possessed by hellbell, like contagion is hellbell ability and the card game is morena ability, kinda like i think nanika rules exceptions that applies only for killua are in reality alluka ability. I think every nen user possessed by a calamity is going to have the calamity ability and a personal ability that supports it.
My long shot prediction is that Silent Majority is Nasubi’s guardian spirit beast ability. Sending out faceless nen women to enact his dirty work while he reclines in safety seems like his style.
I think you should do some what if Hunter hunters... That could be fun
U are my favourite man in th Internet
Can you glaze Botobai Gigante? Him walking up to Benjamin to ask him if hes ok last chapter gave him so much HIM energy that if he gets into a fight it will most certainly be epic and it might happen in the next batch of chapters🔥
I did not expect to wake up in a hazy fog to a new NewWorldReview
I have never seen his name spelled like this lmao
The way Silent Majority is still going on for all this time is so wild.
I really like the idea of Kurapika negotiating with Benjamin to save him with the help of Tubeppa. Hope it turns out to be something like that.
Been asking for that Silent Majority video for two years now
rn succession is still number 3 behind york new and chimera. It is still missing it's true arc defining moments. We have had many good moments but nothing on the level of Kurapika vs Uvo, Zoldycks v chrollo, the troupes requiem etc. I got a feeling we will get those very soon though.
Liam! Any thoughts on what Ging and Pariston have been up to this whole time?
Greed Island can't be the worst arc because it had the best outro song
Razor 🪒 🏐
“Just Awake” would like to have a word with you 😂
Hunting for your dream >>>>>>>>>
I'd debate the succession arc being the best so far. But it is *really good* stuff and I do love every chapter I get of it. As of right now I think it doesn't quite match the chimera ant and yorknew city arcs, but it's really close and could get better (and to be fair it seems like we're just about to hit the big climax, so I suspect its best parts are yet to come)
