I just started playing and I don’t have the luxury of trying them at a local pro shop so I have been ordering and sending back clubs from all manufacturers and I will say these are by far the BEST CLUBS, most forgiving and easy to hit, I prefer steel shaft of graphite. They just dig into dirt so much cleaner and you don’t feel the vibration on bad shots.
Sorry Al, I didn't understand the reason why you had to leave the course. Was it a storm? Btw, these new P790 look stunning, a lot better than the previous versions. I didn't like the 2019 version, felt "bad". But I'm tempted to try these out...

Many people buy the expensive cameras but it’s all about the functionality and lighting! 👍 This isn’t even the latest model. Just good lighting, lens, lens work and aperture. It’s like getting an expensive guitar, expecting it to be better when the best can still make a crap one sound good! Haha

I’ll probably let this A9 go and get a much easier to use body and invest the money mo betta glass, which I should of done first. I am a 15-20 handicapper currently playing Nike Cover 2.0 from a few years ago. I am nervous in this investment (a lot of money) and looking for some advice switching to these clubs that is possibly less forgiving than the Nike. What is your opinion? I am unsure if my clubs have reached their expiration (technology).

I've been told the new 790s feel and perform very similar to the TM tour preferred muscle cavity from 2014...would you agree? And would they be a good used option for those that can't afford the new 790s?
No they don’t I’ve got the 2014 mcs and I’ve just been fitted for the 790s. They are a good club and a half to 2 clubs longer. And the long irons are way easier to hit. I play off 10 and think I’m a decent ball striker. I really do love my Mcs but I think my handicap will drop with the 790s.I would say the mcs are more akin to the 770s but you get a far better feel out of the mcs . I tried out the 770s and 790s and the numbers were just better with the 790s. But if your better than a 10 handicap get the mcs, way better than the 770s. My game just isn’t quite good enough for full set of mcs. Hitting 1 out of 3 5 irons crisp won’t lower my handicap.Hope that helps

BTW, please please, stop using a Tee to repair pitch marks, you might repair the pitch mark well, but many out their don't, standard is always repair your pitch mark with a proper pitch mark repairer, and repair one other mark on the green...... always always always.................

I got 0311 P and love them. Their top line looks better as they bevel the back side. I do like how the 790s copied the looks of the 770s. Way better looking iron. The black stripe ruined the look.
You’ve only seen me hit them once and on the course I hit most greens in regulation the ones I missed were incorrect clubbing. This mentality is unfortunately the problem. You’ve got to be on “tour” to play them - not true! My irons are my strongest part of my game but appreciate your opinion 👍

Get them! I got fitted into them at my local club champion with the steelfiber i95 shafts stiff. Unreal feel, and accuracy.
