- The appearance of a Nordhavn 52 on the brokerage market is a rare occurrence. The 52 is an evolution of the very successful Nordhavn 47 model with the cockpit extended five feet. Samba is widely known for her exploits out of Kodiak, having plied the waters of the North Pacific since new in 2012. She and her owners have introduced many folks to the cruising lifestyle, impressing them in a way that has often resulted in new Nordhavn owners.

Very nice boat, lovely clean, spacious engine room. Loved the interior galley living area. And the bedrooms very impressive. Can't fault it,

The engine room is as as spotless as brand new. I know some might not like the fact this ship doesn't have a flybridge but it's a perfect place to install huge amount of solar panels.
Personally I don't like flybridges maybe that's why it works for me better.
@@dnmurphy48 That depends... You might also wanna drive from a higher open place to feel the wind on a sunny day once in a while.
But I do think ships without a flybridge have great advandages like low profile to catch wind, great passibility, huge volume for solar panel, and etc.
I really love this layout. If I were ready to buy one, this would be on the top of my list.

Beautiful boat. Personally, I think I would prefer a lighter color stain/varnish on the wood in the cabins to give a more spacious feel. The darker tones in the wheelhouse and salon area do give a much warmer feeling to those areas.

@@GENECARP Yeah, not a bad price but if I had enough money to buy and operate a boat like this I think I would look to buy a Fleming instead. Lots of Fleming videos on YT and that’s all I have to go by.

No fly bridge, no go. It like it’s half a Nordy. And yes I like the 62/63 but that’s a totally different machine.
Fly bridges increase wind effect and drag, reduce stability, and are rarely usable in the Pacific Northwest and Alaska. But great for the Southern waters.
