I thought as well but then found Bering yachts with really sea going small steel yachts. They feel more safe and secure than a grp yacht would feel
CDM yachts are also a step up, but these all cost more.
@@Navy1977 quick search says that Nordhavn is ~30-years older company (45 vs. 16). If so, Bering has - with all respect - little to no chance to disagree. Regardless that I quite like both.
When people speak about safety - I wonder if there is any proof that steel ones are better than those composite ones. Besides - those massive glasshouse and windows just above sea level Bering is using somehow compromise the steel hull "safety".
Bering is Best. Forget the rest.

This is exactly the kind of boat that I want. It serves as an owner-operated charter, tourist hopper and family weekender. Love it!
Great job Nick! Never think for even one minute that we have seen enough Nordhavns. Great boats, Nordhavens, and though we may see some similarities from boat to boat, we love to see the differences. Keep up the good work.

Seeing a Nordhavn never gets old. Nick should be able to do these tours blindfolded by now. It is nice to see how many variations owners can have in the layout to suit their own purposes.
love the idea of a completely separate mechanic back up engine system
There are a lot of N63 tours on youtube but I never get tired of seeing them. One good thing about N63 is all living space is on the main deck so without a single step. So when you are at anchor, you won't hurt your knees too much running up and down.
Fastest 21 minutes on the internet. Isn't she something? What a beauty! Can't get enough of these boats!!

Your way of guiding the "visitor" through a boat is uniquely satisfying. One is never lost or left to ponder about the layout. Being a complete landcrab if have come to learn the specifics of Nordhavn and other brands. Should I ever get the means to buy any size boat surely your tours will play a significant role. You cannot beat the quality and style of Nordhavn! Great layout and I love that they are still putting wing engines in these. Serious off-shore vessels for sure. So much redundancy and comfort. I'd feel very secure in one of these. Thanks again, Nick. You are the best!

Definitely my kind of boat….these Nordhavn boats are the star ship enterprise of the seas..they are capable of boldly going where no boat has been before and dealing with any Klingons on your starboard bow 💪😄

A fabulous boat, as usual from Nordhavn. It's fun to pick out all the different choices we'd make, but the lifestyle you get is just amazing.
You can bring us whatever you like, so long as there's a Wave™ included... but yes, a Nordhavn is always well received!
$3 Mil seems like a very good price for such a lot of boat, really. This has a very classic design to it, without going over the top like some of them do. It's just that much better for actually living with compared to the more showy styles.
Married to a Norwegian and my dream is to cruise the fjords in a Nordhavn such as this. Such a beauty!!!

As a yacht detailer I can tell you even the gelcoat is top notch, love working on them.
The Queen of explorer ships is a Nordhavn. The woodwork is amazing, she is a very capable boat designed as a family boat. With style, comfort and safety in mind for family and crew. Love it, thanks Nick.

Big fan of this one. Love the redundancies, the lay out, the size, the range. Top speed is a touch low, and quibble here or there, but thats a boat I could easily see crossing oceans and seas.

What a beautiful vessel. I note the uncomplicated engine room. How refreshing to see it so tidy. Some vessels have more wires and tubes and brackets than a mechano set! Love the redundant engine, I think that really enstills some confidence in sailing long range!
That extra independent engine was awesome! Talk about piece of mind!

Nordhavn's are just wonderfully designed boats. I really like this particular one. Love the seperate utility room. My guess is it doubles as the crew closet since the crew cabin is rather compact. I just like this boat.
The level of wood work on their boats is genuinely incredible their are definitely one of my favourite brands 😊

My "If I won the Lottery" boat, Norhaven's are just too good! Although I'd personally go for a smaller model like the 47.
I love this one and it is a pretty amazing price too.
Its about time tou got a chest rig for the camera Nick, we would'nt want you to get injured trying to navigate a tricky hatch, there are far too many boats still to see. cheers again for a great review of a dream boat

I love the Nordhavn brand nick and you've toured quite a few of them over the years, and although this N63 is a beautiful, solid boat I still prefer the wheelhouse further forward to a rear pilothouse.
Another informative tour of the' battleship of the seas' nick.
