i love bayonetta because the Bayonetta games have stories - a lot! It simply does not matter to me, though. That game could do or say anything, and I will still press the buttons to destroy those angels. How could I not? Bayonetta is one of the only games where simply seeing footage of the game in a TH-cam video or something will cause me to drop everything and play it myself.

    • @chereonredhead2346

and not to mention that the boss battles in the game are absolutely insane and have such a sense of scale to them they are challenging and a test of how stupidly ridiculous a fight can get without being obnoxious with the music which absolutely slaps by the way with being orchestral in the background !!

I personally love Bayonetta as a character for how she flips the script and portrays power and strength in femininity which has been usually perceived as something weak, I love that she has become in many ways a role model for many people to own your nature and use it to your advantage and be yourself no matter how many fights life brings to you. After all she is one hell of a bad Bit… I mean witch 🤍 And honestly I love your enthusiasm for the game and your genuine and hilarious reactions, sending all the love ✨

I recommend you look up the music from the slot machine version of Bayonetta at some point. The vocal version of Jeanne’s song Red and Black is one of my favorites. Also a fun fact I remembered: Antonio (the one that makes the lore journals) was actually the inspiration of one of Dante’s disguises Tony Redgrave. Tony because he’s a fan of Antonio’s work and Redgrave referencing Dante’s hometown.

I love Bayonetta for her level head. She's always so cool and collected, nothing can throw her off her game. Nothing intimidates her, and nothing ever feels like a big deal in the face of her snarky self-confidence; to someone like me, who is a bit prone to anxiety and overthinking, she's honestly such an inspiration and role-model.
I just had an issue come up two days ago where a flight I was supposed to be on suddenly got cancelled a day before take off - and I might've panicked a little, but I kid you not, asking myself "what would Bayonetta do" genuinely helped me calm myself down and reassess the situation from a more distanced perspective.
And hey, I got everything figured out in the end! Thank you Bayonetta. 😌

It Is? I found some of the gimmicky fights a lot harder, to be honest. The motorcycle segment for example, while really cool, was not easy for me! And don't get me started on the missile one that change the game into a bullet hell...Almost got sick every time I had to evade incoming projectiles, while spinning... Still, What a great game !

The tarantula is called Phantasmaraneae, and it's based on Phantom from Devil May Cry. You don't see too much of it in this game, but the majority of its attacks are also shared with Phantom.

There is so many unique traits that this game has to be loved. The aesthetic, the enemies, the scenario, the poses, the puns... But above else, the real reason that I (and most of us, i'm sure of it) love Bayonetta (the game) is, of course, Bayonetta (the character)! There is a difference between a female character being sexy just to please men and a character being sexy because they love to be, and Bayonetta is on this second group. Yes she's is sexy and all, but Bayo is portrayed as having complete autonomy and control over her body and femininity. She is a female main character who deals with problems in a cool and collected manner, and maintains control of nearly all situations (not talking about cockroaches and crying babies, of course). She's very aware that she isn't perfect, but she doesn't care. ❤
Sorry for the bad English, not my native language.
Also first time on the comment section. Greetings from Brazil, everyone :D

I love Bayonetta because she's got a really chill attitude about everything. Part of it is like she couldn't even care less that angels are out to get her but she's so powerful and dominant that she wipes them out with ease. She doesn't even really struggle against the big guys and she's always cracking jokes or being fun in the cutscenes. I think this game really gets humor and it doesn't have to try too hard because it's just funny anyway. Can't wait to see you finish this game, it's gonna be great :)

    • @nobodyinterestingyou
      @nobodyinterestingyou ปีที่แล้ว

What's interesting Is that It's low key suggested that she does that as a mask. At first I thought she was just emotionless to everything around her, but then you can see that even though she talks smack, her actions says other wise. It's that vulnerable side kept hidden that makes this powerhouse of a witch more and more endearing as the first game goes along. Kinda like Dante from Dmc 3 and onwards.

The hardest fight I can remember was an early fight with Jeanne where you first learned the moon wall walk or whatever. The only way I managed to beat it was learning combo dodge offset. She just attacked so often that if you didn't use the offset you'd rarely get the strong wicked weave out.

The combat system is so good that once you play it enough you don't even need witch time anymore. Bayoneta just gets more fun on higher difficulties (mostly haha)
There's nothing more glorious than "perfecting" a boss with no witch time that you once struggled a lot with on Climax difficulty. And that is one of the *many* reasons I love Bayonetta.

Finally, you've hit my favorite set of levels, and the main reason why I love this game. Don't get me wrong, I loved this game from the start, but the Jeanne fight, the upcoming level, and the [Redacted] fight after it made me see I could get so much better at the game, on top of it being so ridiculous, fun, and emotional when it wants to!! Bayonetta got me hooked to gaming itself again since I was a child playing on arcades. Bayonetta holds a space in my gaming heart. I totally agree to crave the feeling of experiencing an awesome game for the first time. I am grateful to have played many games now that I am older that I understand the lore and story of the games I play. nothing compares to that. One of the many reasons I fucking love the Bayonetta series are the references. The Infernal Demon you summon during the Sapientia boss fight is Phantasmaraneae, who is clearly an homage to the boss Phantom from the first DMC. The first part of Isla Del Sol is one big Space Harrier reference with an obvious shout out to Fantasy Zone at the beginning.
The last fight with Jeanne is one of my favorite boss fights in any game I've ever played. It's so goddamn bonkers. Jeanne revealing her Umbra Witch outfit, playing catch with fucking missiles, fighting on the sides of buildings, the chaos in the background, the counters, it's sooo much fun.

  • @ramo3169

I've said before how what I love most about Bayonetta is how her sexiness is powerful and part of her weapons and confidence, and not objectifying or depicted as a fault. And I love how that's a part of her she has in conjunction with her compassion and protectiveness toward Cereza, especially as the game progresses and she becomes genuinely fond of the little one.
But right now I think what I really love about Bayonetta is the joy these games are bringing you Deebee! In the face of all the stress and disillusion with youtube, it's great to see you still around, still finishing the series you've enjoyed, and having such a big smile on your face as you're playing this game!
It's just so much fun to be Bayonetta when you're playing these games, she makes everyone who picks up the controller a bad ass and love it haha

Also, in your playthrough, I'm glad you and she have different weapons and you've not bought all of Bayo's moves from the Gates of Hell. So you two sorta fight differently. When I played, I had the katana as well, so we were just slashing everywhere! But that Jeanne fight is so intense!!! These games are incredible and the perfect fun kinda ridiculous with great characters and voice work. Bayonetta 3 looks like it’s wrapping up to be incredible with the most recent trailer looking like the games performance on switch is incredible. I have heard both Bayonetta 1 and 2 ports run stellar on switch also which is phenomenal to have these games on the go (as well as both games having special Nintendo character themed outfits and weapons on both Wii U and Switch ports). I have loved both videos so far, especially the games intro (that will go up there with Sephiroth in kingdom hearts and sephiroth in smash as some of your reactions I’ll rewatch every now and again) and cannot wait for you to continue further! I hope you continue to enjoy. It only gets better.

Don't worry Deebee, Jeanne's fights have always been hard, and that last on especially. It gets better if you know the game a lot because you recognize her patterns and you know which attacks are Witch Time'able and which aren't (although you grasped it quite quickly yourself), but when I first played the game I died many times on this fight.
I really can't wait for the end of Bayonetta, this will be incredible, and hopefully Bayonetta 2 follows ! IMO the second one is even better than the first, and that's saying something because Bayonetta 1 is legendary.

Bayonetta was a moment in time. I was one of those kids, whose parents bought me ONE system and that's it. At the time it was a Ps2. I had to have my eldest cousin talk my dad into getting me a PSP. I recall when Bayonetta was first announced and I was bummed that I couldn't play it. I was too young to buy a system for myself and labeled this game as the one that got away because, there was something about Bayo that was just different from other Heroines. Her sexy prowess and poised demeanor males her an exception character. The idea of Witches and angels duking it out makes for a kick ass game, the way Platinum has. I cannot wait until you play Bayonetta 2 and I hope you get B3

I gotta say, i love bayonetta because even tho the story is confusing, if you roll with it you have a good time. The battle scenes are great and it may take inspirations from dmc3 but i really find bayonetta unique. The 2 clans at war, the lore, the wicked weave idea, how bayonetta is basically a badass character who knows she is sexy and cool and owns it. Even though my first time around i used to be terrible i couldnt stop playing, but my favorite aspect is defenitely the angels' designs. How scary they look, the different types, how some are so vicious that when beating them feels amazing

I bought the collection again when they were released on NS.
    Looking forward to Bayonetta 3!

I remember never once hearing about Bayonetta until the second game released on the Wii U. I thought I’d give it a try and I was hooked and had to look up everything about her. The struggle of her development and just the she badass way she carried herself without a care of what anyone else thought was amazing and simply inspiring. I have the soundtracks on my Spotify playlists and still talk about her and show gameplay to friends who’s never played one of her games to this day. I wanted to get the trinity masquerade edition from GameStop but they were sold out by the time I went to preorder 😂

I love Bayonetta because the game play is so great that I actually bought Bayonetta 1 three times: for PS3, when it first came out, PS4, when it was on sale, and Nintendo Switch, when Bayonetta 3 was announced!!!!!! Also love your videos and your let's play of Bayonetta! Keep it up! You are awesome!!!

4:56 fun fact: conically the boss fight only 2 seconds. its just that the boss and Bayonetta are moving so fast that it seems longer.

I just wanna say that I have been having a lot of fun seeing your reaction to Bayonetta.
I played this game a lot when it came out for the PlayStation 3. One of the best games I've ever played, so much fun. And it makes me happy to see someone else enjoying it.
I'll be honest with you. normally I don't like Dominatrix characters in video games or anime. But Bayonetta was the first game where I got to play as a domineering character, and I grew to love how confident Bayonetta is in everything that she does.
From the way that she walks and talks to the way that she fights, it's glorious to see her take control of any situation she's thrown into.

I think I’ve talked about everything but the sudden changes and the way Bayonetta can become really emotional all of a sudden. For a series meant to be sexy and wacky it’s got a surprisingly solid heart and I do love it for that. Bayonetta is just awesome and I don’t know how else to describe it without going into another paragraphs long rant about what I enjoy.
I AM actually gonna grab the first two on my switch now. I’ve decided for sure and you definitely helped by reminding me how fun it is.

As another comment said we wanna see ur reaction after all the credits and you're able to play again.
And I loooove bayonetta because she is like a superhero but with demons in her side. Also the story, the fact that a lot of characters use glasses 🤓 [one of my insecurities 😅]

Many of this words that are hard to pronounce are actually on spanish, like "isla del sol" or "cereza". "Isla del sol" literally means "sun island" and "cereza" means "cherry". "Cerezita" is the diminutive of "cereza". I'm mexican, that's why i know this stuff.

Have you noticed from every Auditio you've faced, even though they represent the Four Cardinal Virtues, their personalities seem to switch from the original to the opposite? Fortitudo is Courage/Fortitude/Strength; Temperantia is literally Temperance; Iustitia is Justice; and Sapientia is Prudence and Sapience.

I like two different costumes you can put on Bayonetta and the many weapons you can have to fight enemies. I remember at first I thought it was just a button match game, but after playing some of the challenges I realized I needed to learn the combos to have fun in this game. And it became one of my favorites.

If you buy alter Durga (claws) in Gates of hell - you'll get the ability to use them both (one pair for legs and another pair form arms) also Bayonetta will look like a real catgirl with them due to the accessory you have already bought which gives her cat ears and cat tail. Don't forget that you also can change lighting and fire of both Durgas by spinning the left stick and pushing hit or kick button.

i love bayonetta because she hits people with her hair and it smackds them but some people won't die by her hair so she turns into a monster but the monster is actually her hair so that makes it cool. but also, l liked when she shoots her guns even though theyre not as strong as her hair i wish she would have hair bullets in the next game. But most of all i love bayonete because when she jumps in the air she can jump in the air twice with her hair butterflies. please i really really want this game

I've platinum'd the game, and the final fight against Jeanne still gives me fits. But it's the good kind of hard, where it really doesn't feel unfair, just that you have to get better, and it's immensely satisfying when you beat it.

What can I say about this game that hasn’t been said already, Bayonetta Is amazing. From the weapons, the combat, the story, the lore, the characters their personality and the fights in the game are truly awe inspiring and amazing. Visuals are breathtaking and the music and notoriety is just so good!
Bayonetta has been one of my favorite games since I picked it up and I’ve been unable to stop playing, and I’ve been patiently waiting for Bayonetta 3 since the first trailer we got few years back, and now having the chance to be able to play my darling Queens game once more for the third installment is going to be wonderful and I’m going to enjoy every second of it like I’ve done with the 1 and 2.

I love the game Bayonetta because its such a fluid game, Platinum games who were originally clover studio have always made these fun experiences that cater to gameplay. Okamie, Bayonetta, God Hand, Vanquish, Metal gear rising revengance just to name a few. Now the character I love because of her voice, her style, her attitude and how she is just an icon from strong female characters. The story is crazy and insane plus the music is a mix of pop songs with a classical style that suits the themes of the game.

The rocket sequence and it's music is from Space Harrier another game in Sega's line up. In the Bayonetta soundtrack this is called Space Harrier ♾️ climax and there is a bit versions too. During the chapter if you defeat the big angles in the 2d section they give you broken witch hearts. 2 I believe

With all of the money that you have right now, you should buy the accessory called Selene's light. What it will do is, as long as you have magic, anytime you get hit it'll trigger which time. It makes harder fights a lot easier.
