this game is my favorite video ever since i’m a die hard bayo fan, BUT (spoiler warning) the ending absolutely broke me and i’m still like sad ab it 9 hours later. it felt like losing my close friends

Among the walkthroughs, Deebee may be the one who transition from Demon slave, witch time, combos and demon slave, so quickly. Few people actually struggled at that, yet he did it so flawlessly. If he didn't took damage, that would be a pure platinum. Very beautiful playing. Hopefully you will get all the weapons and play them all.
lmao, it's not that hard in Casual gameplay. I actually got better scores than him, and I haven't even finished my first playthrough of Bayo 1 (CH14). He finished Bayonetta 2, I honestly expected better. Plus, he barely used any wicked weaves in the first battles xD
I legitimately can't believe how many people aren't able to properly grasp Demon Slave. You aren't supposed to stand there and use them until the magic runs out, you weave them in and out of your combos and Queue up their attacks.
If you look closely enough, you can see that when the larger enemies appear, you can see that they are being put together by humanoids and I think that was just a very nice, intricate detail.
Some of them even show a similar level of detail when attacking. Like one enemy that shoots out projectiles is actually shooting out humanoid humonculi that detonate.
Bruh the way Viola and old school Bayonetta interacted made me think that they are daughter and mother. Like she has the lil cheshire plush on her sword, knows how to use witchtime and her reaction to seeing her vanish was heartbreaking. Also i think that Luka may be her father since she said something like "strawberry candy he would give to me" (like he gave young Cereza)
I kind of agree with you! In her monologue, she also said that she believed that there was only one truth (I think?) which is a philosophy that Luka also had!

I remember when I started this game on Friday and when the Purple Guy (please don't crucify me for calling him that, I haven't gotten that far in the game yet so no spoilers please) grabbed Viola's sword, I proceeded to say "Nice Knife" like Armstrong in MGR. If I ever watch my friends play this game I'm going to say that because all my friends are MGR nuts aswell.
This is a prime example of "no compromise exhilarating gameplay" just for the sake of maxing out the fun factor (and the fan service is appreciated as well 😏)
I don’t know if this is a quick spoiler for you or not, but we can no longer add weapons on to our feet in the game. You have an A and B setting to where you can choose your weapons. The weapons you get are based off the demon slaves you get over the progression of the game. so enjoy all the wacky combos you want. Sorry if I spoil this for you.
I love how her new moveset is a lot more fluid and like a ballerina old one was OK but I always felt like it was too over the top and not really that hmm graceful this version is really graceful
Honestly, the combat took a bit of an adjustment period for me: I was just summoning demons and swinging for the fences in a lot of fights lol But then the deeper I got (only chapter 3 right now hah), the more I started to use the summons in conjunction w/ Bayo's own moveset (e.g. queuing up attacks and swapping back to Bayo, then back to demon)... yeah, it's a lot to take in at first, but I'm starting to think it's my favorite combat system in the series. Game's a lot of fun
I'm a little disappointed he almost forgot about the demon summoning in the Karken fight but I know he was overwhelmed. He's going to need to remember all of the powers available to him if he wants to get through this game

Crazy how it's been a year! I always hated how bayo3 was being called out for trying to " ride the multiverse hype train" when in both bayo 1 and 2 there were clearly multiversal elements with both stories having time traveling snd alternate timelines. Balder literally explained it in bayo 1
@@bogymanthedark I think they’re pretty much on the same level at this point. Protagonist has to go to different words to find the plot device to save the world from the big evil. They have a large selection of weapons they get after each world that can change how you play but ultimately seems to change the game visually. The hero also has help from summons of famous characters throughout the world that can do massive amounts of damage to the enemies that were once human… which series am I talking about? Could be either right?
@@GhostwalkerSparrow im making a comparison on which story is more convoluted but I guess there's similarities when it comes world setting and gameplay, although the switching weapons can change combat part was only a recent addition in kingdom hearts 3. in the old games you'd only switch weapons for the stats upgrade.

I first went into this expecting a game along the lines of the first 2 games. But then I saw this and had my expectations blown away and I love it.

Don't forget, you almost always have a GIANT DEMON that can help you fought long distance. Makes avoiding things like the kraken's ink a lot easier.

Don’t forget to search every possible nook and cranny of the levels. Also sometimes extra fights will trigger if you backtrack to a previous area.
