So what is Sonic Classic Heroes? It's a rom hack that combines the adventures of Sonic 1 and 2, based on the team mechanics of Sonic Heroes. Choose from either Team Sonic (Sonic, Tails & Knuckles) or Team Chaotix (Vector, Espio & Charmy). You can also tinker in the options such as which game(s) to play, how many characters per 'team', AI options, sound test, and more.
For this episode of Tails Abuse, it will be focused on Sonic 1 as Sonic & Tails, with some appearances of Knuckles thrown in. Unlike other Tails Abuse style videos, this focuses more on the death aspect, rather then simply hurt him in 1001 ways. Thankfully, Tails acts very much like Sonic in normal gameplay, so taking damage with no rings results in death.
All gameplay footage involving Sonic & Tails acts as a playthrough of Sonic 1. Other footage seen, such as Knuckles & Tails, is done via the level select for convenience.
