      Hi Andrew! I realize this is nearly a year late, but THANK YOU very much! TH-cam rolled out this Applaud feature (now called Super Thanks) but, until very recently, didn't give creators an easy way to find them. Now they have, and I wanted to say I am grateful for your support!

    Take the springs off the belt, give them a squeeze with pliers. Should be some give to set the belt tighter.

      @@BV3D thank you. I'm doing research for a repair and I have someone telling me that the pipe for one of the extruders is messed up haha. Is it as easy as taking out the old nozzle, ptfe then replace?

    It creates spark gaps when the high current ionizes the air between the strands

    Do people still use ABS? I thought everyone was using PETG these days?

      PETG? No ABS, look at Voron 3D Printer and there Community, all is about ABS

    I am wanting to get started with 3d printing, I really liked this for ease of use and to get started quickly. Do you think this is the best starter printer with ease and quick to use or is there something better for under 500.00

    to bad it doesnt have a all metal hot end, and really use the enclosed chamber for stuff like nylon and pc that needs temps up around 280 to 300c, another great video

    • @awidesigns

      All metal hot end is 60 bucks from qidi so not an issue just swap it out.

    I know this is an old video but im looking to get this printer and i was wondering if I could just replace the ptfe that goes into the nozzle with a Capricorn ptfe to not have the risk of burning and deforming the original ptfe?.

  • @alycapo3391
    @alycapo3391 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    The ringing is from the HUGE MASS that is the hotend. Basically I would buy this just got the enclosure if it was around 300, because let's be honest it needs a new hotend and extruder, some modifications to have belt tensioners and slight modification for exhusting the abs fumes post print. But it's like 90% there, again for $500 a definite no and let's be honest we need an enclosure that can get to a stable and consistent 70 degrees. Ideally even more for none impregnated filaments like PA or PC

    Kioxia USB's eh...! their server SSD's cost a fortune, but the USB's seem to be reasonably priced, are they good on the read and write speeds? do they meet/exceed Kioxia's products specs?

    Thanks Bryan I think for that price I would rather purchase a Flashforge Adventurer 3. Still fully enclosed with filament run out sensor, power cut resume, built in camera the lot and you get amazing hassle free prints straight out of the box. Being a Flashforge printer it is bullet proof for years also. Cheers mate.

    This printer is baffling. The enclosure is designed to help with ABS and ASA but it's not safe to reach the temperatures needed for ABS/ASA with the TPFE lined nozzle. I am not sure whether 235/240 is enough to avoid delamination consistently with all ABS/ASA filaments! What do you think?

    • @BV3D
      @BV3D  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I print ABS with it at 235. The filament I’m using has a print temp between 220 and 250. So far it’s doing ok, but 240 is about as high as I would want to go with it.

    Hi Bryan, I was wondering can you please get the "Voxelab Aquila 3D Printer"
    and show it b unboxed, built, and tested y your good self, WHY? because I have seen this is printer is said to be a Creality Ender 3 V2 Clone printer.
    It uses the same layout and design and even the same main board. The control screen is not the same as the Ender 3 V2 But is a nice one!
    The reason the Aquila is getting popular is because of it's price compared to the Ender 3 V2.
    The Aquila costs far less to buy But is as good as the Ender 3 V2.
    I was so impressed y 3 you tuber printer reviews I ordered one to replace my Tronxy X5SA which I still can't get to level right months after buying it?
    I was going to buy the Ender 3 V2 But by buying this Voxelab Aquila printer on Amazon UK I saved £87.00p on the price of the Ender 3 V2.
    What a great Bargain. I could if needed buy a Creality encloser for this Aquila thanks to the money saved.
    Loe your videos so any to do with this Aquila printer be great. Cheers. 8 )

    I have a x-plus by QIDI and I must say their printers ARE AWESOME compared to shitty creality printers you dont need to do anything to them to get great prints! If you compare what you will spend on say and ender 3 and all the upgrades needed for them to print good compared to a QIDI printer, you'll actually spend way more on a creality not to mention countless hours of fiddling with it. QIDI printers direct drive extruders, strong supports, awesome build blade and most are fuly enclosed so you can easily print things like carbon fiber and everything in between. Simply put they are cheap and print the way creality users dream only wish theirs did.

    Nice Review Bryan! I would say there’s something wrong with that 18 hour print I print boxes of about that size in substantially less another time with even slightly thicker sides On my good old Prusa in PETG Again thanks for a good review but I don’t think there’s printers for me. I would make one other comment however Bryan Covid is over time for a haircut!
