Someone or yourselves might have already thought of the idea, but the horse head could become one of those hobby horse child riding toys for your dolls. ;-) I loved the video, as always.
Tom Burleigh was the first mudlarking video I watched. I've gathered from watching him with other mudlarkers, as well as when alone; he is indeed a kind and thoughtful person. I'm glad that he introduced me to your videos. I find myself smiling as I watch your enthusiasm.
This was such a fun adventure with so many great finds. OS car as so sweet and growing like a weed. Kate is not afraid to get down and wet and Fluer is the Rock Star Mum in gifting her family with such awesome times together, education and wonderful finds and adding awesome Characters to here families life such as the very kind Tom Burleigh. I Love You All. Barb in Oklahoma
Mr. Burleigh should record books for the blind - could listen to him read any book. Oscar's grin is infectious. Will need to get a passport before can come across the "pond".
Tom you host a great time! Truly a most amazing gift box. 💙 What a fabulous exciting fun day! 🎉🥳. So much excitement and first finds! Oscar had some great finds! Thanks for sharing the fun. 🤣 R.I.P. HRH Queen Elizabeth 🌹
The little pewter shaker would be a fantastic little fairy house or build like different levels with green finely cut moss and glue and sprinkle the chopped moss then little miliput mushrooms and fairy like items. For your doll house garden.
Kate. How you can find typeface in the running water of a river is absolutely amazing. I loved that you got to meet Tom and spend the day with him. Awesome head also
What a sweet shot of the kiddos looking down into the river, made my heart ache as a mom❤️ You need some flashlights on your shoes to go with the buckets 😁
Oh what a lark in a beautiful river. Wonderful, varied finds capped by your stunning, colorful bead Kate. It was a beauty. Fleur, that little shoe was exquisite; maybe you could make a little old lady to go in the shoe?! This video was just what we needed after the sad news of the passing of the Queen. Thank you again for all you efforts in bringing us along with your outings.
🙋♀️❤❤❤⚘⚘🌞 love the pewter shaker lighthouse idea! Tom's gift box was wonderful! It's fun watching him make finds and mention that Kit and Kaboodles might like it!
Sincerest condolences from a rebellious American on the loss of your beloved Queen Elizabeth II and God Save the new King Charles III. Your finds were very nice and so varied. That is a beautiful river and the sound of the rushing water is so soothing. I live in New Bern, in eastern North Carolina; we have a very large, wide river [the Neuse], that comes to a confluence with the smaller Trent River. They're very brackish due to flowing into the salt water of the Atlantic Ocean so not anywhere near as clean or clear as the river you're wading in, plus there's water moccasins [aggressive and venomous snakes], bull sharks and alligators living in our rivers. I can't believe I used to swim in this river as a youngster in the 70s. 😉😉🥴😱🤣 Fleur, that boot charm looks an awful lot like a Monopoly game piece of days gone by. How you spotted it on the river bottom without the bucket is beyond my comprehension. Kate, the millefiore [?sp?] bead is gorgeous! Oscar is such a help with your larking adventures.
I can't believe you found so many tiny items, that's amazing. I just wanted to say you all have my sympathy for the loss of your queen. May she rest in peace.
I love watching Tom, one of the nicest people around. I think this could be one of my favorite mudlarking films of yours. So great to see the whole family together ❤
Oh such brilliant fun 👌😊 loved this lark ❤🥰 thank you all for taking us along with you. And I hope you find the doll head you got out of those rocks Kate, I can't wait to see her put back together ❤🥰 Oh and maybe the name for that cute little doll Tom gave you could be Tombalina (like Thumbalina but with Tom infront instead).
This has to be my favorite of your videos I have watched so far. Your family & friend are so delightful, warm & caring. Thanks for taking this Tennessee girl with you. Loved every minute of the river as much as I do the Little Pigeon River in Townsend, TN. It's connected to Our Great Smoky Mountains National Park. About 1hrs. Drive. I am new to mudlarking, but have always found heart shaped rocks randomly. I love old and tiny things & dolls. This is so therapeutic to watch after my son's passing 2yrs ago. This calls & comforts my heart, then Draws me back to the rivers & creeks we shared so many wonderful times in. You & "Northern Mudlarks" are such a blessing of comfort & friendship across the way. Sending light &love. Blessed Be.
The millefiori bead is beautiful! I had to Google it for the spelling. Loved seeing Oscar again. We're getting to see him grow up before our very eyes. He's very handsome, like his brother although he favors Kate. Thank you again.
What a great voice of Tom's to use for your opening of your video. I love watching his video’s and listening to his calm voice. Great outing and lots of fun.
Maybe you could make a mold of the head and make heads for all the headless soldiers you have. Also the horse’s head would look great made into a hobby horse.
Congratulations on getting the most up-close shot of Tom Burleigh so far (I think). Granted it's from the back, but it still counts! :) What a fun, wet hunt. Maybe you could name the doll you build for the beautiful head Tom gave you Thomasina?
What a fantastic day! So very nice of Mr B to lend you his handy bucket. Mudlarking in your country is now on my wish list. Also, for me, this is my first time seeing Mr. Oscar, what a handsome young fellow. What a beautiful family, really. Blessings!😊😢
Oh the duality of siblings. First Oscar sweetly holding her hand to help her cross but also filming her struggling to get out of the water. 🤣 Those are great finds!
My condolences of the loss of your Queen and God Save the new King Charles 111. Such a clear, clean stream. A great place for finding treasures. Oscar, you have grown to a handsome, tall young man. The charm is marvelous.
Thank you guys.....all of you......for sharing this wonderful, whimsical video! Just what's needed during this sad time of mourning. I love your channel!
This had to have been one of my favorites of your videos! With Oscar there too it was just like extra topping on your ice cream! 😃 He his growing so fast! I have heard other mudlarkers speak of him and it is always with respect and gratitude! It was am amazing day! Please be careful and stay safe! ❤❤❤
Thank you ladies and Oscar for a delightful river hunt . You will have to show us the coins etc once you've cleaned them up :) I hope you had enough pieces to put the doll's face together :) That is the most I have ever seen of Tom (maybe one day we will get a look at his face ) Time for me to catch up on my mudlarking videos I've missed :) Have a lovely day :)
Brilliant fun and such lovely finds. What generous and wonderful gifts from Tom too. A Larkers dream package he gave to you there ladies. I do hope you manage to find your lost items. That dolls head would be lovely to see mended. Thanks for taking us along, in the river. Great, cos i hate getting wet. 😂
Another beautiful day at the river! I could never be a mudlarker because I would take absolutely everything home aspecialy those little bottles! Great video ladies and gents! That bucket is really cool! 💙💜❤️
cuteness overload....when Kate asked Oscar if he could see it and he says not with your head in the way. Oscar sure has grown. great collaboration with Tom
I did catch a glimpse of Tom's waders 😊. Some amazing little pieces of history. It's definitely the river that keeps on giving. It's near us so we go a few times and I always come away with something. Lovely video 😊
Has'nt Oscar grown!! We hav'nt seen him for a while. Some really interesting finds with those glass bottomed buckets. I love that Oscar found a farthing with little Jenny Wren on it. Hope you find the dolls head bits as I was looking forward to seeing just how much you managed to save. Favorite bits for me were Kate and Oscar crossing the river together. You all have such a wonderful time together. Many thanks for another smashing video.
What a beautifully elegant voice Tom has. I’m smiling before I’ve even watched the rest of the video. I really appreciate you letting me curl up and relax in your wonderful world each week. Thank you.
I think my favorite places are where metal bits are. You two and Oscar are brilliant at finding amazing pieces to craft at. Thanks to Tom for letting you all in on his mudlark 🤫 secret. On another note, my sincere condolences to you all on the death of your beloved Queen Elizabeth.
I can't believe what tiny things you found in the river! Tom is such a lovely man, I can think you all had fun that day. Oscar is growing so tall too! The perfect mudlark, even with water in the boots. 😀😀😀
Such beauuutiful little treasures. And Tom is such a darling. I really nearly did climb through the screen lol. And I wish I could be in Kent too. A little too far to travel - but it is on my bucket list to lark with larkers of the UK 🙂xx Teresa 🇦🇺❤
Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for this video! So happy to see Oscar! It was incredibly lovely to watch. It's not about me, but I just found out I have COVID - again - and this fed my heart! Take care!
Those buckets are a great idea. Seen some river Larkers use these. Might have to see if I can make one, but with my crafting skills I just know I’m going to be singing “There’s a hole in my bucket dear Liza” all day 😂 Looks like you all had a great day out 🙌
The beautiful cup with the the Greyhound on it it's so gorgeous I just love it I enjoyed your video thank you for sharing all the laughter and love between you all ♥️♥️♥️👍🗝️

Just have to say, I got such warm fuzzy feelings with this video! I think Tom has such love for your family! So wonderful to see Oscar!!!! ❤ and watching Kate and Oscar crossing the river, I just thought, how wonderful to have those moments captured!!!! 🥰
What a lovely day of wonderful finds! So many interesting things-it's too hard to pick a favorite! It was fun to see Oscar again-he has gotten so tall. Tom Burleigh was so kind to share his finds. That one perfect head, when restored into a doll, may need to be named Thomasina or some other female version of Tom.
What a wonderful day you all had. So happy to see y’all back together with Tom. He’s always so gracious with his mudlarking spots. Nice to see you too, Oscar. Have a great week everyone !! 🌼🥰
Tom's voice is so calming. Love his voice. Kit and Fleur I love your excitement when you find something. I want to be their and do what your doing. Maybe one day.
Tom,your navigation of words, this language,it is nothing short of exemplary!
I stand,in absolute attention to your words.
Love Tom Burleigh’s voice it’s so soothing ❤
Someone or yourselves might have already thought of the idea, but the horse head could become one of those hobby horse child riding toys for your dolls. ;-) I loved the video, as always.
Fleur I loved hearing you quote Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow!
That horses head would be great for a riding stick for the nursery ❤️
What a wonderful idea
Tell Oscar he’s looking like a fine young man (unless he already knows!). Fun film!
Sorry to hear about Queen Elizabeth, I have always loved her and saw her coronation and her get married. A beautiful lady.
Hi everyone, including Tom. The air gun pellets would make great knobs for dressers etc in the doll's house, love the millifore bead!
Tom Burleigh was the first mudlarking video I watched. I've gathered from watching him with other mudlarkers, as well as when alone; he is indeed a kind and thoughtful person. I'm glad that he introduced me to your videos. I find myself smiling as I watch your enthusiasm.

So much fun. Mr. Burleigh is so kind. I'm happy to see such kindness and Peace in the world.
Love this video too! What a great way to find things in the water with the window in the bucket!!! Awesome
Maybe making Dorset buttons and explaining their 4 hundred year history would make a good short film for mudmas
R.I.P. HRH Queen Elizabeth 🌹
Loved the little shoe and bird. Lots of beautiful little treasures. Very sorry for the loss of your Queen Elizabeth. Thanks for sharing
Love the collaboration of two of my favorite TH-camrs❣️
Think Kate and Oscar need waders when they go riverlarking again. You found some good things. Hope the craft stall went well xx
The little pewter shaker would be a fantastic little fairy house or build like different levels with green finely cut moss and glue and sprinkle the chopped moss then little miliput mushrooms and fairy like items. For your doll house garden.
Cast the shoe, so you have it to wear.
The square clear ink well would make a excellent fish pond for doll house garden.
Kate. How you can find typeface in the running water of a river is absolutely amazing. I loved that you got to meet Tom and spend the day with him. Awesome head also
Wow that was a beautiful little jar. I wish the were Mudlark places in my area in Sarnia Ontario. love vintage little beauties
That egg cup would make a cute chair for the doll house
What a sweet shot of the kiddos looking down into the river, made my heart ache as a mom❤️ You need some flashlights on your shoes to go with the buckets 😁
My favorites mudlarks all together . My deepest condolences on the queens passing she shall be missed so .💕💕💕💕

Could you cast a mold of the boot and make a replica? That way if you happened to lose it, it wouldn’t be soul crushing.
Very nice, very cool ❤😎👍
Sincerest condolences from a rebellious American on the loss of your beloved Queen Elizabeth II and God Save the new King Charles III.

What a wonderful day! I would have fell in completely LOL! So many little things there. I would be going back soon for sure before it gets to cold.
What a treat my favourite larks together 🥰
Maybe you could make a mold of the head and make heads for all the headless soldiers you have. Also the horse’s head would look great made into a hobby horse.
I thought the same thing. A mold would be perfect.
Love that idea. Northern Mudlarkers are good at doing that. Ask Alex.
You said the Rum line so perfectly that I laughed until it hurt. Thank you so much for the smiles & healthy chuckles!💚
Congratulations on getting the most up-close shot of Tom Burleigh so far (I think). Granted it's from the back, but it still counts! :) What a fun, wet hunt. Maybe you could name the doll you build for the beautiful head Tom gave you Thomasina?

cuteness overload....when Kate asked Oscar if he could see it and he says not with your head in the way. Oscar sure has grown. great collaboration with Tom
Loved the boot Fern. Would you not be able to make a cast of it, that way you wouldn't lose the original.
There needs to be a rock band called "The Headless Charlottes". Loved traveling down Tom's river with all you all. What wonderful finds!!
The horses head could be attached to a stick and made into a hobbyhorse for the dolls House xx

I love the Wellie walk Oscar and Kate perfected.! What beautiful fun finds also, Lil from Fargo
I’d like to give that equine derrière to my husband as a symbolic gesture 😂😂😂
Great finds! Kate I love how you just really get in there whether it is mud or water.
