I love your answer to the hero question. You just described me and my husband- slightly different jobs and we have a beagle instead of a Jack Russell but the sentiment is the same. Walking and hiking are our favorite hobbies. It was refreshing to hear your take on this because I always thought “the world” found us to be boring. Maybe they do but it is good to know there are people out there who appreciate our lifestyle.
I love the message translation of this verse of Matthew: "You're blessed when you're content with just who you are-no more, no less. That's the moment you find yourselves proud owners of everything that can't
    be bought.”
It’s a good and very freeing way to live.

Couldn't agree more with that verse.
And you'll find people will be more envious than find you boring too.

I’ve just gone off most meat over the last year. I still like the occasional bacon sandwich and dry cured meat stick but in general I just don’t enjoy eating meat anymore for some strange and unexplainable reason. A lot of my older family went through the same thing at my age too. Strange…

How odd! I went off cheese and onion crisps as a teenager, but happy to say I'm a fan again 😂

That was a fun video! Not shaving the beard is a great choice. Don't think I will ever shave mine again! Mainly because the aforementioned chins😱. I have been a vegan for probably 25 years. You might try the Impossible burger available at Costco frozen. To me it tastes like beef but mind you I haven't had beef for 25 years so who knows! But it even bleeds red. I will have to think about who my hero is, but I love your answer! I am always striving for contentment. I certainly feel I have everything I need. Of course now I will be pondering who my hero is, so thanks for that Paul😂! Hope the you have a great rest of your Sunday!

      Thanks Bryan,
I've been trying to will myself to CostCo for about a month, so if I manage to get there this week, I'll keep an eye out for the Impossi-burger!

@@AdultwithAutism I actually have a real problem going to Costco. Here in the US they change everything like every night. You never know where anything is. One time we went and they changed everything. It looked completely different inside. I nearly had a meltdown right there. Had to run out😱.

I hate when shops do that. Take me time to get my routine right, then I have to redo it everytime...and then I end up forgetting things!
CostCo over here is a bit different. More used by shop owners than individual customers, and the items they sell are always there. But the chicken strips...for me are worth the trip, and the horrible queuing system they have going on.

Keep the beard, I don’t do clowns, and my special interest is food and cooking. But it has to be with certain products. My dad was a butcher and food will kill me but I’ll die happy 😂❤️. I could use a food allowance to be honest as my sensories are so high. Quality is key. Vegan foods has soooo much salt and soooooo heavily processed and just as bad for you. Moderation in all things.
I’m a realist my hero’s are all passed, it was my grans the most though. She had nothing and loved everyone equally. Simple is good, nature is my doctor. It doesn’t talk back. It has no expectations just pure enjoyment. I live a simple life, I get made fun of because I’ve never been in a plane. ❤️ contentment is key. ❤️⭐️❤️

Contentment is absolutely key. Once you have it, it doesn't get affected by day to day events like happiness can.
      And the beard stays...

Do you have a charity event in mind when you could shave your beard off?
As controversial for some as it may be, in my family if there's no meat, there's no dinner and it will never change, as I have two very picky eaters under the roof😆 And honestly, I think, all the bad stigma around meat is exaggerated a bit. I tried vegetarianism myself for a few months, ended badly, so it may not work for everyone for the health reasons if done incorrectly especially with the quality of "fresh" food widely available and also from the farming perspective, there is a lot of initiatives to improve the meat farming sector. I fully respect vegans if they choose it for the ethical reasons, although farm animals have in most cases better life than many humans, as they are well looked after, healthy, no hunger, no danger, good conditions.. However I don't understand vegans for purely ecological reasons. What is often unsaid and unheard in consumer community is that veg and fruit sector is struggling hugely right now with too low wholesale prices for farmers, too low quality, too high carbon dioxide emissions, too many chemicals, too quickly deteriorating soil and the list goes on. It's a topic close to my heart right now so really sorry for the moaning 😁

Haha, we are all allowed to moan! I do in all my videos 😂
My charity of choice is always the Firefighters Charity.

My husband HATES veggies like detrimental wont eat them. So he can chug a drink. So i make kale shakes with berries, avacado, and add Kool aid to it. And he drinks them up. He can wash it down with a food he likes but hes told me they taste like cool aid. You HAVE to have a Vitamix to make it work or it nasty. But try chugging your veggies add stevia or sugar. But get those veggies i say. Anyways his A1C went down and his tummy isnt troubled any more. I hate veggies too but i can actually eat them so i do. He even experiments with it now adding different veggies. I'm like good whatever works for you. Im vegan for health reasons but i dint care if anyone else wants to eat meat its not me. Im not a snob about it. 😅
8:29 are veggies expensive in your part of the world? Because meat here is wicked expensive I've cut my food bill down by half. 😅 Sorry.

It is expensive to eat healthy in England. The NHS (National Health Service) complain there is a health concern with a lot of people being overweight, then the food prices aren't in favour of eating right. If someone says they're Vegan to me in England, I am more interested to know what they eat because I am secretly trying to cost up their food bill! 👍🏼

I wonder why are 2 out of 3 of the questions are about you changing yourself in some way? To me that sounds as if people are saying “you’d be more valuable to me if you shaved your beard, or stopped eating animal products” …I can’t even fathom why anyone would ask those questions of another person… maybe it’s just me, but I find most of humanity exhaustingly self serving and it drives me nuts

True. If I mention I'm having a beer, I'm told that I shouldn't. If I say I'm having bacon, I'm told red meat will cause cancer etc. I could also get hit by a bus tomorrow...so I'll have a bacon sandwich, washed down with a beer 👍🏻
