I suffered anxiety and panic attacks for about 2 months now. I take multivitamins, vitamin d and drink chamomile tea in the morning and 30-45 minutes before bedtime. Idk why but it really helped me a lot with my anxiety it is like 90% better than before.

Afternoon chamomile with thyme tea is my favorite and another chamomile at night before bed. Excercise and not engaging with negative thoughts have helped me tremendously.

I was diagnosed with Vestibular Migraine after 5 years of dizziness and a balance problem. Doctor said I did not have vertigo and sent me to do rehab which made absolutely no difference. Here I am 2 1/2 years later and have discovered my symptoms are similar to Vit B12 deficience and magnesium!!! Going to doctor on Wednesday to have her order glucose tolerance since I have serious shaky feelings on occasion which last weekend started when my little dog woke me up crying. He does have a heart murmer but after xrays, a heartworm test thankfully he's ok...vet put him on a med for his heart but I've been a shaking mess every since, got sick enough at work Saturday and have been out all week, very shaky.... so this is some great info...hopefully getting Vit B12 injections might do the trick... taking magnesium too... and now that Fauci has been caught, maybe everyone can calm down and get the antedote for those horrific shots.

You need not always choose supplements.. vitamin D comes naturally from sunlight, and other micronutrients are also available easily from food .. consult nutritionist to know how to improve. Supplements are taken mostly when ur body is unable to absorb food (old age, other special cases) being nutritionist I would always suggest you to “Eat right food and move” is the key for healthy lifestyle

I've been taking all these vitamins for years and then developed colitis the result of which is depression and anxiety... Sounds like I do need to increase my vitamin C. I also take K2 along with my D3 which is important to direct calcium to the bones and teeth rather than build up as plaque in the arteries and stones as in kidneys etc. I've had coronary artery disease since I was 34 and never had a
heart attack. I'm 73 now! I also cut out all high carbohydrates and eat plenty of healthy fats.... coconut oil, olive oil. (paleo diet) STAY AWAY FROM all the crappy oils that have been recommended for years such as canola and safflower.

Also, not all people will respond well to methylated B vitamins. Finally, calcium and strontium also affect serotonin if they are low in your body. God bless.

Maybe. Alot of the food we eat is very toxic and low in nutrients though. Even mass produced vegetables. Soils around the world have been depleted so the nutrients you would have in an apple now opposed an apple 100 years ago are far lower and now with added toxins - unless you buy organic. Sometimes it just makes good sense to top up with supplements.

Mind your folate too. B12 works in conjunction with folate, both are non-effective without the other. And how's your vitamin D level? Also, maybe look into the symptoms of B5 (Panthotenic acid) deficiency. It has a big effect in stress regulation that I just recently found out and I'm going to suggest my friend with chronic anxiety start taking either just B5 or a B-complex with all of the B-group.
Also, do you have a regular relaxation practice? It doesn't have to be formal like meditation or yoga, but those are well researched and proven beneficial. If that's not your thing, it could be knitting, painting, journaling, warm baths, petting the cat, anything that winds you down, as long as you do it at least weekly.
Have you tried breathing exercises? Methods that calm anxiety include box breathing and cardiac coherence breathing. It's important to engage in a practice long enough for it to take effect. At least 7 minutes per session is recommended.
Diet also plays a factor, but it's difficult to make healthy choices when you're actively anxious. You need to find a suitable coping mechanism to calm you down first I would think. To me, singing works wonders in an anxiety attack. It forces you to breathe deeply, engage your core muscles and focus on the lyrics. That's just me though.
I hope you don't mind me butting in with this long message. The subject is near and dear to my heart and I'm sorry you're struggling.

I was having vertigo, high anxiety and other neurological problems. It went on long enough that I developed another problem that is missing from your list. VITAMIN B-1 Or THIAMINE. Another vitamin that is a low rda dose at 1 mg but if you run your natural stores out can be problematic. Your entire ability to calm down from anything runs on b-1. There is alot of info to find, to quickly understand look up Dr Berg, if you need way more detail on how all this works there is hours of detail about B-1 on EOnutrition both here on you.
